Apparently police are now cruising the web looking for people who make claims that leads one to believe they could or might or perhaps broke some jackbooted rule, regulation or law and then they are punishing them through the U.S. mails on this hearsay evidence.
The police department of a Chicago area forest preserve district used a local woman’s social media post as a basis to send her a citation in the mail after she made a Facebook post about a county park.
The woman says she wrote a Facebook post that was misinterpreted by Will County forest preserve police as an admission that she was violating park rules. It wasn’t long after she posted her comment that she received a notice of violation in the mail and told she owed the county a fine for illegal use of a park.

After several weeks of scandalous failure to provide timely healthcare to our military veterans, some dying waiting for care that would never come, the Veteran’s Administration has now decided to allow veterans to pursue more private healthcare options to improve their treatment. But isn’t government turning to the private sector in stark contrast to the theme of the age of Obama, one that holds that private business “didn’t build that” and that we need to further empower government?
A group dedicated to warning America about the evils of radical Islamists and the growing wave of terror they commit is coming under fire in Des Plaines. The group meets at the city’s public library but now several Muslim groups are seeking to have government quash the anti-terror group’s right to use the public facility.
U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder told graduates in Maryland that they should ignore “hateful rants” like that from Clippers owner Donald Sterling. Holder said that voter ID and “zero tolerance” policies in schools are worse on minorities than anything Sterling could have done.
They are popping up all across the country, little stickers on the front doors of businesses, restaurants and retail outlets informing concealed carry holders that they are not welcome to carry their legal firearm inside. But if you are a concealed carry holder you should ignore these attempts to curtail your rights. If you are legally armed, feel absolutely free to enter and patronize those stores with your firearm no matter what these anti-Constitution store owners want.

For the last three years a Democrat affiliated Milwaukee County District Attorney has been engaged in a political jihad of sorts, using “secret subpoenas” and illegally invading homes and offices of a wide range of conservatives and Republicans in an “investigation” into collusion between activist groups and Wis. Gov. Scott Walker’s re-election campaign. At last, a federal judge has ordered that the illicit probe be halted on First Amendment grounds.
A Broward County, Florida public school teacher sought to ban an elementary school student from reading the Bible or any religious book during an independent reading time where kids are required to pick their own books to read.
Earlier this year a gun shop in California began to gear up to sell a “smart gun,” but gun enthusiasts raised such a stink about the sale that the store backed off and even claimed they never intended to sell the gun. Now a shop in Maryland has had the same experience with similar results.
That darned old media is just out of control and filled with “hate crimes,” Senator Ed Markey (D, Mass.) says. So, he thinks the best solution is that government should control everything we see and hear. What could go wrong with that, Mr. Orwell?
Politics might make strange bedfellows, but this one really takes the cake. In California Elizabeth Emken is running for the 7th District U.S. House seat in an attempt to unseat Democrat Ami Bera. But even though Emken was a lobbyist for Obamacare, she is strangely running as a Republican and using Bera’s support for Obamacare as a weapon against him.
As a conservative it is easy to look at Washington and find nothing but despair. Socialism is once again on the march with autocratic Democrats and left leaning “Republicans” all seeking to raise taxes, spend more, destroy the integrity of our borders, eviscerate our military, spy on us all, and impose a one-size-fits-all education scheme. In DC, the Democrats are practically indistinguishable from the Republicans. But a bright spot is seen in those states who are rebelling over this top down control by liberalizing gun laws, restricting abortion, and otherwise beginning to look for ways to assert their long dormant powers.
The Clinton Library has released over 7,000 pages of documents from Bill’s presidency, likely hoping that what ever is in them will be “old news” by the time Hillary announces her bid for president. But one of the documents is very interesting and shows that Bill and Hillary really feared and hated the free flow of information on the Internet.
Once again we get proof of how mindless and clueless the media is, how they don’t fact check, but just mindlessly pass on each other’s bad work ad infinitum. This time it happened with a story about a criminal who used a .22 caliber pistol in a crime but one clueless reporter turned it into a “submachine gun” and hundreds of his mindless colleagues followed suit passing the lie on and on and on.
The Confederate flag has a very long and controversial history, to be sure. But a recent CBS report on a flag dustup in a school in Missouri shows just how slipshod journalism is today.
BLM has been slowly destroying the cattle industry in that area for quite some time and Bundy is the last rancher left. But Bundy refuses to acquiesce to the government’s lies and jackbooted tactics. He and his family have been there for over one hundred years and he refuses to leave.
Remember, liberals say that we need to be “tolerant” of Muslims in the U.S. because, gosh darn it, they are Americans just like you and me. While you are remembering that, Muslims in Dearborn, Michigan are trying to oppress a local Christian Church because it is hosting an Easter egg hunt. Proof that Muslims are just as American and tolerant as you and me.
