Obama’s home state of Illinois is struggling to break the Great Recession. A perfect example of this is seen in a recent report that shows that applications for food stamps in the Land of Lincoln is greater than its creation of jobs.
Illinois has had the worst recovery from the recession of any state in the country, the Illinois Policy Institute reported this month. “There are nearly 300,000 fewer Illinoisans working today than in January 2008, and 170,000 fewer payroll jobs. ”
“For every post-recession job created in Illinois, nearly two people have enrolled in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), commonly known as food stamps,” the Institute wrote. “In the recession era, the number of Illinoisans dependent on food stamps has risen by 745,000.”

Obama is now claiming that pulling our forces out of Iraq wasn’t his idea, even though he spent nearly every waking hour pushing a pull out during the years he first ran for president not to mention all his actions and public speeches on the issue he made after he won.
Not only are the courts across the country upholding the ballot integrity efforts of Voter ID laws–including the U.S. Supreme Court–but even majorities of nearly every section of the American public are polling in favor of voter ID requirements. This means Obama, his activist Attorney General Eric Holder, and the leftist intelligencia are losing this issue big time.
Once again we get left-wingers advising government officials that fanatical Islamists and other foreign terrorists are just as bad as patriotic Americans.
