In conjunction with allowing the poorest, least educated foreigners to flood into this country by the millions, our failed education system is creating a permanent underclass that every year is giving the USA a less educated work force. Add to that a culture in at least one segment of our society that devalues education in the first place and we have a recipe for the downfall of our country.
Dave Frum, the purported “conservative” columnist at The Atlantic brought up a report from 2007 that I had not seen before, a survey that is quite alarming for the health of this country.
As Frum put it:
The educational testing service ETS issued an alarming report in 2007 warning that average levels of literacy in the workforce of the 2030s will likely be outright lower than in the workforce of the 1990s “as better educated individuals leave the workforce, they will be replaced by those who, on average, have lower levels of education and skill.” ETS predicted an outright decline of 5 percent in measured literacy and numeracy by 2030–an unprecedented event in the history of the United States. The projected decline in average skills portends sagging average incomes and intensifying inequality.
From there the columnist correctly pointed out that Obama’s throwing open of our southern border to millions of uneducated lower class citizens of Mexico, and South and Central America is creating a permanent lower class that will never, ever be able to better their lives–and worse, never help better this country.
We will have a permanent and growing class of people who will forever be a drag on the rest of us.
But, who can deny that this is being done on purpose? Obama and his Democrat cohorts are purposefully creating this underclass so that these people will forever be dependent on Obama’s government handouts.
In turn, Democrats expect that most of these people will continue to vote Democrat in order to keep open the spigot of freebies and government support. This whole, destructive, un-American campaign is nothing but an effort by Democrats to create millions of new Democrat voters in order to keep Democrats in power in perpetuity.
This is the evil we face, today. A Democrat Party whose chief goal is to hamper this country with the dregs of the world all in an effort to keep permanent power. Make no mistake, this is what amnesty is for. This is why Obama told the teeming millions in South and Central America that they should come here for our government freebies. This is why the left is undermining and destroying our educational establishment.
It is all a bald faced grab for permanent political power and they don’t care a whit that most Americans will be hurt by this effort. Why don’t they care? Because their rich friends and fellow powermongers will probably be alright for years to come. They have gotten theirs and they don’t want anyone else to join their ranks.
