Only one day after Colorado legalized marijuana, a 2-year-old child was tested positive for pot when she found and ate a cookie laced with the drug that was lying on the ground near her home.
Pot was legalized on January 1 and only a day later, on Wednesday January 2, a little child was rushed to the hospital after her mother, Aida Hernandez, observed her daughter acting like she was drunk.
Aida Hernandez her her 2-year-old daughter Evelyn.
“She was asleep, she was opening and closing her eyes and she couldn’t walk really well. She was weak,” Hernandez told Colorado’s CBS affiliate.

One of the most famous fighters of Cold War communism still in the land of the living, Polish leader and liberty icon Lech Walesa, is not too keen on the “failure” that is Barack Obama. In fact, Obama has been down right “dangerous” for the world Walesa says.
In a new interview, Walesa decries Obama as having failed to advance peace and freedom across the world with his failed foreign policies.
Welsa lamented that when Obama was elected in 2008 there was “hope in the world” that “Obama would reclaim moral leadership for America,” but Obama “failed.”

Famed Anti-Communist Blasts Obama as a ‘Dangerous’ Failure”

In a December 28 Facebook posting advertising its article on the A&E network’s decision to reinstate Duck Dynasty’s Phil Robertson, the Denver Post called Robertson a “hate-speech spewer.” So much for an unbiased reporting of the news.
To flack its December 28 article titled, “‘Duck Dynasty’ debacle winners and losers,” by television critic, Joanne Ostrow, the Post threw up a blurb on Facebook saying that A&E “welcomed patriarch and hate-speech spewer Phil Robertson” back to the show.
“The feathers are no longer flying,” the Facebook blurb reads. “For now, the “Duck Dynasty” debacle is settled. The network, A&E, has welcomed patriarch and hate-speech spewer Phil Robertson back into the fold. So who were the winners and losers in this sad episode?”
Many of the comments on the Facebook page take the Post to task for its extreme bias.

Gay groups don’t care about gay slurs. They care about liberalism. So, when a liberal utters a gay slur it is brushed off as unimportant. But if a conservative seems to say something bad about gays, why, it is the end of the world. That is the case here with the recent condemnation that the gay group GLAAD doled out to Duck Dynasty star Phil Robertson.
The gay group GLAAD came out to excoriate Phil Robertson of A&E’s reality TV hit Duck Dynasty for his comments about gays in a hostile interview in the upcoming issue of GQ magazine.
As soon as the interview became public knowledge, GLAAD ran to Entertainment Weekly which posted the complaint in a piece with the lie-filled title, “‘Duck Dynasty’ star makes anti-gay comments; GLAAD slams.”
In the interview Robertson laid out the typical, Christian, Bible-based ideas about homosexuality and in fact just paraphrased Corinthians in his comments that homosexuality is wrong but that he still loves gays as human beings.

It’s a sales job, not a religious message!
It could be, it might be, it… isn’t religious, but the fearful authorities at a Minnesota school thought that a skeleton carton on a kid’s Christmas poster was “religious” and should be taken down.
The poster featured the cartoon character Jack Skellington from the Tim Burton movie “The Nightmare Before Christmas” but this didn’t stop the absurd authorities at the PACT Charter school in Ramsey, Minnesota from taking it down for fear of “religious” themes.
The civil rights advocacy group The Rutherford Institute has taken up the cause and sent a letter to the school warning them of their folly.

OUTRAGEOUS: School Bans Kid’s Christmas Poster Because it ‘Might be Religious’”

Last week Fox News’s Megyn Kelly told her audience that Santa was a white guy and people should just get over it. By Saturday, NBC’s SNL had a message for America from “Santa Klaus”: “You’ve heard of secret Santa, well here’s a secret: I’m black as hell.”
During SNL’s Weekend Update segment, troupe member Kenan Thompson starred as a black Santa Klaus that riffed on some well-worn and prosaic themes. But even with the same ‘ol, same ‘ol racism topics, the segment did have a few funny lines.
When Weekend Update’s faux anchor Cecily Strong asked Thompson’s “Santa” if he was OK with people thinking that he was really white, Thompson said, “Well, a white guys taking credit for something a black guy did? I’m more used to it than okay with it.”

One of the biggest solutions reformers have to fix our failing schools is to give parents vouchers that can be used to send kids to the parent’s choice of schools. But one union-backing school superintendent in North Carolina is so against any solutions outside those offered by unions that she is going to the absurd extreme of saying that vouchers would be used to “train terrorists.”
That’s right. If you support giving parents a better choice for their children’s education, then you are a supporter of terrorism.
North Carolina Superintendent of Public Instruction June Atkinson says of the voucher legislation, “There is nothing in the legislation that would prevent someone from establishing a school of terror.”
Really? That is her concern? Where did this come from, you might wonder? Why, she’s attacking Christian schools, of course.

The Chipley, Florida nativity scene.
A reporter for a small Florida newspaper decided that he wanted to see if he could get the city of Chipley to remove its nativity scene from public property because he claims it is somehow against the US Constitution. There is that unbiased media we are so in love with, eh?
“Reporter” Randal Seyler of the Washington County News decided to try and use his position in the media to destroy a community nativity scene when he noticed that the decoration was put up at city hall.
This biased, troublemaker ran to city hall and warned them he was going to start causing problems for the city if they didn’t remove the nativity scene.
Chipley Mayor Linda Cain was not interested in Seyler’s anti-Christmas crusade, though, so he ran to a militant atheist group that loves to file frivolous lawsuits against cities all across America.

If Santa were black would you be afraid to let him come down your chimney? Or would he only visit “the hood”? These are some of the questions asked in a racist Christmas display at Indiana University. Needless to say, the university has apologized for the debacle.
The controversial display featured a banner headline that asked, “Can Santa be a black man?” And all the type was white… except for the word “black” which was helpfully colored black to, you know, slam that message home.
The display featured stockings with messages on them. One said “If Santa is a black man, would you let him come down your chimney?” and another said “If Santa Claus is a black man, wouldn’t he only visit the ghetto?”
Naturally, the display got everyone mad, as well it should.

The stupidity of the age in which we live in America today is seen once again in the case of an 11-year-old girl in Oregon who has been told by authorities that she isn’t allowed to sell mistletoe to raise money to pay for her dental treatments. However, they have told her, she is allowed to beg on the streets to raise the money.
So, we are telling kids not to try and work for their money, telling kids they aren’t allowed to start a small business or start a sales campaign to raise money for something they need, but we are telling them that they can loaf on a street corner and beg passersby for money?

Tax Paid University Professor Tells White Male Students to Commit Suicide”

England’s Staffordshire University.
British citizens are up in arms at a British primary school that has threatened to label kids as “racists” for years on their public school record if they refuse to attend a field trip meant to push Islam on kids. This is a sick example of multiculturalism by force, apparently.
Lynn Small, headmistress at Littleton Green Community School in Huntington, Staffordshire UK, sent a letter home with kids informing parents that if their kids were withheld from a special workshop meant to push Islam a “racial discrimination note” would be attached to their permanent school record and they’d be branded racists for years to come.

The kids are in what we would call a grade school here in the USA in a school that serves kids from 8-years to 11.

The U.S.Post Office Holiday Stamps Flier
A new print ad for the U.S. Post office reminding customers about its wonderful new holiday stamps seems to be missing the “Christmas” part of the holidays. The ad features a Hanukkah menorah stamp, a Kwanzaa stamp and that wonderful standby Christian stamp… the gingerbread house. Yes, the Post Office just excluded Christmas in its ad.
The advertisement is a mailer sent to American’s homes to remind them of the holiday stamps offered by the U.S. Post Office.
As is clearly seen, the Jewish holiday of Hanukkah is celebrated by a stamp. So is the fake African American “holiday,” Kwanzaa. But instead of Christmas being celebrated, we get a gingerbread house. Where is Christmas?
As the wags at Twitchy noted, “One of these USPS holiday stamps is not like the others.”

A school in South Carolina has been forced to cancel its annual toy collection drive for the charity Operation Christmas Child by atheists who claim that the event is “religious” and therefore should not be allowed.
For the past three years East Point Academy in West Columbia, S.C., has been participating in the toy drive for needy children. But this year the school has had to cancel their participation because an atheist group sent a letter to the school threatening to sue over the false “separation of church and state” issue.
School principal, Renee Mathews, is flabbergasted by the absurd letter saying that the only “religious” part of the toy drive is the word “Christmas” in its title. Otherwise there is not a single mention of religion in anything concerning the event. It’s just a toy drive for needy kids.

In a recent interview Oprah Winfrey said that the only reason someone wouldn’t like President Obama is because they are racists and then said that to fix the country all you white, racists will just have to die.
Winfrey was exhaling her hot air with the British Broadcasting Corp. (BBC) where she was on a trip to hawk her a-historial film The Butler.
The nearly 60-year-old former hit talk show host proved once again that she doesn’t know what the word “racist” means and, like all religionist Obama supporters, claimed that race is the only possible reason why people would be against the worst, most anti-American, anti-Israel, anti-Constitution, pro-communist president in American history.
Oprah was asked if people were against Obama because of the color of his skin, Oprah said, “There’s no question.”
“I think there’s a level of disrespect for the office that occurs. And that occurs in some cases … because he’s African American. There’s no question about that. And it’s the kind of thing no one ever says, but everybody’s thinking,” she bleated.
No one says? Has she not paid attention to MSNBC and the race hustlers like Al $harpton and Je$$e Jack$on? Has she not heard one celebutard after another say day in and day out that the only reason people oppose Obama is because they are evil, white racists??
Her blather continued. “As long as people can be judged by the color of their skin, problem’s not solved,” she said.
“There are still generations of people, older people, who were born and bred and marinated in it, in that prejudice and racism, and they just have to die.”
See that, whities? You’ll all just have to die.
It is interesting that Winfrey still acts as if the whole of the USA is “marinated” in racism. After all, she grew up mostly in the post Jim Crow era. Oprah had every educational opportunity, she became a figure much beloved as much by whites as by blacks, and became a multi-billionaire who attained the sort of fame that anyone would love to have. Where is all the “racism” that kept Oprah Winfrey down?
But the biggest point here is that contrary to the racebaiting industry in the United States, “racism” is not solely defined as whites hating blacks. Racism knows no boundaries.
Racism is a human condition and is exemplified in Japanese people looking down on other Asians. It is exemplified by dark-skinned blacks hating light-skinned blacks–and vice versa. It is seen in the hate Greeks have for non-Greeks, or the hate some have for Hispanics, or the hate American Indians have for white people, or the hate… well, you get the point. The fact is, racism exists in every corner of the world and has since man developed language and social communities. It isn’t solely a hate that white Americans have for blacks as people like Winfrey say it is.
But, I’ll tell you what, Oprah. You go ahead and give back the billions of dollars that millions of white Americans willingly gave you for your products, books, and TV shows. I mean, why would you want to have racists as fans?

A faith-based relationship advisor met with resistance from teens in a Dallas, Texas high school after speaking there on Nov. 13. Some of the girls were upset that the speaker offered traditional advice about gender roles. The advice, the kids said, was “sexist.”
Justin Lookadoo has been a motivational speaker and relationship advice writer for years and, according to him at least, never faced this sort of criticism. But girls at Richardson High School in Dallas attacked him on Twitter during his presentation and in person after he was done.
One teen critic of the speaker Tweeted, “Why did you tell girls to get out of abusive relationships instead of telling guys not to be abusive in the first place?”

Texas High Schoolers Blast Christian Speaker’s ‘Sexist’ Dating Advice”

A new video shows purportedly “normal” Muslims–those who are supposedly not radicalized–agreeing that all the extreme punishments prescribed by the Koran are perfectly right and good. The crowd of Muslims in the video seen below is shown voting in favor of punishments such as the stoning of gays and adulterers.
Now, many on the left claim that we cannot blame “all Muslims” for Islamic-based terrorism and we must not assume all Muslims believe in the ancient, extreme, backwards things in the Koran. They say that “most” Muslims are normal folks that are “just like us.” On the other hand, others say that Islam is Islam, radicalized or not, and there isn’t any difference between the worst Muslim terrorist and any other Muslim. This video doesn’t help the left’s argument much.
The video was taken at a Norwegian Islamic conference in March of this year and was first made public by the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI) in May. MEMRI is a group that translates into English Muslim news broadcast or printed in foreign languages so that American audiences can see what Muslims say when they aren’t trying to fool us in our own language.

No one shall make fun of emperor Obama! So says a Kentucky hospital that forced all its employees into so-called “sensitivity training” after three employees entered the company Halloween costume contest dressed as Obama in a straightjacket being escorted by two policemen.
After the costume party, the bosses at Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville, Kentucky decided they weren’t amused when a small handful of employees complained about the costume contest entry. Not many must have been offended, though, because the costume won third place in the competition.
After the party was over the “prize” was handed out by hospital administrators: all 750 employees had to take “sensitivity training.”

One of the arguments that people that oppose gay marriage used to deny legal marriage for gays is that allowing gays to marry opens the door for every other sort of “marriage”–marrying gays, multiple partners, animals, even children–and this eventually destroys society. Gays denied that their support of gay marriage created that slippery slope toward destroying marriage and the family, but a recent CNN report seems to make the lie to that denial.
On October 26, CNN published a story on Polyamory–the practice of having three, four or more people together in a “marriage”–with the practice being mostly portrayed as a perfectly normal, even desirable, form of “marriage.”
As America has argued about gay marriage, homosexuals claimed that they were not looking to destroy marriage as an institution nor were they trying to eliminate the nuclear family. They claimed that all they cared about were their “rights” to “love who they love.”
Of course, no one ever said they should not be allowed to “love who they love.” That argument was a red herring used to tug at heartstrings. In fact, all of the arguments gays used were emotional arguments and this is the reason that foes of gay marriage said that allowing gay marriage is just one more step toward legalizing just any sort of relationship, that gay marriage was a slippery slope to a host of illicit “relationships.”

Gay Marriage Makes Just ANY Relationship OK”

In May one of Obama’s U.S. attorneys in Tennessee said that Americans who spoke against Islam could be prosecuted.
Bill Killian, U.S. attorney for the Eastern District of Tennessee, said that inflammatory material against Islam might be a violation of federal civil rights laws. Such a violation could bring the federal government down on those opposing Islam here in the US.
As reported by The Tullahoma News, Killian and the FBI’s Kenneth Moore hosted a “Public Disclosure in a Diverse Society” to “help” the community learn how anti-Islam speech could land an American before authorities.
“This is an educational effort with civil rights laws as they play into freedom of religion and exercising freedom of religion,” Killian told the paper. “This is also to inform the public what federal laws are in effect and what the consequences are.”
Killian talked of how some Muslims are innocent of terror and that terrorism is committed by only a small number of Muslims. Then he illegitimately invoked the 1995 bombing of the Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City.

We reported about the story weeks ago about the planned Sept. 11 Million Muslim March on Washington DC. Then there was a response to that rally that was planned by patriotic bikers intending to get two million bikers to Washington. Well, now a new wrinkle to the story is out with the city of Washington DC deciding to deny the bikers a permit to do a no-stop ride through even as they allow the terror-approver’s march to take place.
The much criticized Million Muslim March is being planned by a group calling itself the American Muslim Political Action Committee and is nothing less than an effort to stick a terror-supporting finger in American’s collective eye. There is no possible reason to hold a Muslim-supporting event on the very day their cohorts murdered thousands of Americans on Sept. 11, 2001. No other reason unless they want to rub America’s nose in that act of terror.

D.C. Denies Patriotic Bikers Permit to Rally on Sept. 11, But Allows Muslims to March”

A Muslim group planning a “million Muslim march” to be held on the 12th anniversary of the terror attacks that brought down the World Trade Center in 2001 is being criticized for picking that day for their event.
On August 11, I reported on the march being planned by the Muslim advocacy group named the American Muslim Political Action Committee (AMPAC) and ourselves noted that it is little else but a finger in American’s eyes. Now others are echoing that sentiment.
Recently on Fox News, Doctor Zudhi Jasser, president of the Islamic Forum for Democracy, criticized the picking of the very day that Muslims killed over three thousand Americans.
“They’re basically a bunch of ‘truthers’ who think that America’s to blame for everything,” Jasser said. He went on to say that the Anti-Defamation League has identified some of the leaders of the march as “being virulent, anti-Semites who think 9/11 was a conspiracy theory.”

Critics Slam Muslims for the 9/11/13 Scheduling of Million-Muslim March in DC”

Don’t make fun of king Obama. If you do your life will be destroyed. That is the message that the Missouri State Fair is sending by the banning for life of a rodeo clown that used an Obama mask during a recent performance.
Of course, the crowd had a great time with the stunt as can be seen in a video of the event…
The incident occurred on August 10 at the Missouri State Fair where Rodeo clown Tuffy Gessling made a bunch of Obama jokes with a dummy figure of Obama propped up by a broom which was being used as a target for the rodeo bulls. But soon scolds on the Internet went wild attacking the clown as “racist.”
Jeff Mazur, an Executive Director for AFSCME, a left-wing government workers union, and an operative in Democrat Governor Jay Nixon’s administration, wasn’t amused, though and he took to Twitter to immediately attack the rodeo for the Obama joke. (See his Tweet below)

Obama-Masked Missouri Rodeo Clown Banned From Sport For Life”

The policy group called ALEC (the American Legislative Exchange Council) had its 40th anniversary meeting in Chicago on August 7, 8, and 9, but not everyone was celebrating. In front of the hotel at which the event was held, the unions gathered to attack and one Chicago school teacher took the occasion not only to say that capitalism has failed and that government should be for the redistribution of wealth, he also threatened “violent revolution” unless America acquiesces to union demands.
CPS Teacher Timothy Meegan, who teachers at Roosevelt High School in Chicago, had quite a bit of boilerplate to say about ALEC, but before long he edged toward some more startling rhetoric, the sort that makes one hope he isn’t teaching to Chicago’s school children.
At the end of his canned anti-ALEC speech he lapsed into the sort of rhetoric that would be at home in any speech from the worker’s paradise. In fact, it got downright red-lipped with talk of “violent revolution,” attacks on capitalism and the free market, as well as cries that government should “redistribute the wealth.”
And all this talk of violent revolution was Jesse Jackson approved. The very right reverend can be seen clapping Mr. Meegan on the back after his diatribe is over.

On the July 14 broadcast of Fox & Friends Sunday, Tucker Carlson said out loud what everyone already knows: neither Al Sharpton nor Jesse Jackson are real civil rights leaders and both are little else but hustlers and pimps.
Carlson was talking to Fox correspondent Geraldo Rivera about the George Zimmerman trial and the pair were talking about the threatened protests that Jack$on and $harpton are planning to protest the acquittal of Zimmerman.
After Geraldo reiterated his “if you dress like a thug be ready to be treated like a thug” comment, Carlson went on to properly characterize the two rabble rousers who claim to be civil rights leaders.
I don’t know how I feel about George Zimmerman but I am positive that people like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton do not deserve to be called civil rights leaders. They are not. They are hustlers and pimps who make a living off inflaming racial tensions. They know nothing about this. They’re not residents of Florida. They don t represent anybody, they’re not elected to anything, they don’t have constituencies. The only reason they are allowed to do this is because we in the press enable them by calling them civil rights leaders. Why do we do that?
Exactly right, Tucker. These two ripoff artists have no interest at all in real civil rights. They just want cash in their pockets. They are sham activists only interested in who they can next shakedown.

Bowing to pressure from its Muslim host country, the Miss World beauty pageant has announced that it will axe its famous bikinis and replace them with the traditional Indonesian sarong.
In this year’s contest the more than 130 contestants will be sporting the traditional longer sarongs worn in Bali instead of the revealing, sexy bikinis that have always been part of the competition, pageant officials have decided.
The contest will be held on September 28 on the resort island of Bali and in Sentul, areas near the Indonesian capital of Jakarta. Indonesia is the world’s most populous Muslin nation.
“There will no bikini in this year’s Miss World pageant to respect our traditional customs and values,” Adjie S. Soeratmadjie of the RCTI, the official broadcaster and local organizer, told media outlets.

A new study of the most controversial entries on Wikipedia, the crowd sourced, online encyclopedia, shows that in the English language entry the most fought over is the biography of George W. Bush.
The authors of The most controversial topics in Wikipedia, a study that looked at the most controversial pages by language group, finds some topics stir passions in all cultures–such as matters of religion, God, Jesus, and Muhammad–while others are dependent on more localized matters–such as ages old ethnic conflicts and local politics.
The study looked at the pages that are fought over the most by constant behind the scenes editing by users. The most debated pages undergo what the study terms “edit wars,” which is the back and forth of “reverts,” the action of undoing what another editor added. The goal of the study was to find what subjects were most controversial by language, but also to see what topics straddled cultures.
Maybe unsurprisingly, in the English language Wiki, which is visited most heavily in the United States, the bio of George W. Bush still elicits hot controversy. Bush’s entry appears at the very top among the top ten most edited pages in English. Anarchism comes in second and Muhammad third.
