A Way to Temporarily Stop Obama’s Union-Helping Regulations

The folks at LaborUnionReport.com have an interesting proposal on a way to stop the destructive power of Obama’s National Labor Relations Board (NLRB). This is the regulatory agency best known for attacking Boeing for trying to open a manufacturing line in North Carolina, the agency trying to stop it so that Big Labor can get a win in Washington State.

The idea is to convince one of the remaining board members of the NLRB to resign so that the board won’t have enough members to conduct business. This would make the NLRB’s destructive powers lie fallow at least until next year.

Any abeyance of Obama’s ability to pay off his patrons in Big Labor and his desire to destroy the U.S. business sector is a good thing…

New Mexico Officials Arrested, Likely Part of Obama’s Gun Running to Mexican Narco-Terrorists

Recently the town Mayor, the Police Chief and a Town Trustee of Columbus, New Mexico pleaded guilty to running guns to the Juarez drug cartel using city vehicles and police cars to do so. But now it looks like some of those guns illegally transferred to Mexico by these lawless city officials were connected to Obama’s gun running operation, Operation Fast and Furious.

In March, federal agents arrested former Columbus Mayor Eddie Espinoza, 51, for supplying guns to drug dealers in Mexico. In July he pleaded guilty to three counts of making false statements and three counts of smuggling firearms across the border…

Media’s Obama Sell-Out is ‘Unexpectedly’ Pervasive

On Friday, Jim Geraghty voiced the “joke” that is the Old Media news coverage of the era of Obama, the joke that we conservatives have been guffawing over for about a year now. That is the employment of the word “unexpectedly” in news coverage of disaster after Obama disaster. Every new instance of Obama’s economic failure just amazes and perplexes these left-leaning media types.

Every time the purveyors of the “news” are forced to admit that we have yet another Obama downgrade, another spate of economic backsliding, or yet one more report of always rising unemployment numbers, the “news” media finds these facts “unexpectedly” shocking. Geraghty notes several instances of the shock that the media keeps finding in itself that it expresses day in and day out.

But, as Geraghty notes, there are hundreds of examples of the media finding it “unexpected” that the economy and jobs situation keep getting worse. It is no late phenomenon. Geraghty also notes that the same faux shock is evinced by all the so-called economic experts — leftist, Keynesians all — that the media turns to for analysis…

Michelle O Has Spent more than $10 Million of Our Tax $$ On Vacations

A few days ago I wrote a post on my own site saying that the Obamas travel like South American dictators. Well, here is more evidence of this. Recent reports find that Michelle Obama alone has spent over $10 million of “Obama’s stash” — or rather $10 million of our tax dollars — just on vacations for herself and her kiddos.

Rush Limbaugh calls her “Moochele Obama” and that is starting to look like an apt handle for the wife of the biggest spender in Washington. With her trips around the world, her stays at luxurious 5-star resorts and hotels, her many shopping trips, she is looking more and more like the biggest mooch in presidential history.

Yet, where is the press to lambaste Moochelle Obama? Scolding first ladies for their spending of the people’s tax dollars on baubles and trips is a long tradition in the American press corp. As far back as Dolly Madison the press has attacked presidential wives for spending. Mary Lincoln was mercilessly slammed for buying china, housewares, and dresses during the Civil War. As recent as Ronald Reagan’s era the press slammed FLOTUS Nancy for her spending. Yet, Moochelle gets a pass? Imagine that, the sold-out press not criticizing The One OR his wifeypoo…

First of all, I have to admit that I wouldn’t know a Katy Perry song from a hole in the wall. What’s more I couldn’t care less about her music. Far as I’m concerned they stopped making rock-n-roll in the late 1970s. But you do have to feel sorry for the pop singer with this latest Twit-troversy she is facing for having had the temerity to support Israel on her Twitter account after this latest round of Islamofascist terrorism that she has suffered.

One of Perry’s fans had tweeted to her about the suffering of Israel and asked Perry to pray for them. Perry responded saying, “I am! My prayers are for you guys tonight, SHALOM!!”

Well, you’d have thought that the singer had tweeted that she was hoping to kill a few puppies tonight because after her tweet one so-called Palestinian, Muslim, leftist, progressive, and terror supporter (but I repeat myself) after another took to their own Twitter accounts to attack Perry for offering prayers for those killed by terrorists in Israel…

Uncouth and Unpatriotic: Obama/Biden Attacking America While Abroad

There used to be a saying that “politics ends at the water’s edge.” This meant that carping about the opposing party or engaging in political mud slinging ended when a politician entered in a foreign land. This policy was recommended because presenting a united front abroad was thought a good idea. Unfortunately, the uncouth Obama administration is more interested in low-born attacks than in national unity as is evidenced by both the president and the vice-president’s actions abroad.

They saying was made famous during the Cold War by Senator Arthur Vandenberg (R, Mich). Vandenberg had an epiphany in 1945 that carried him from the isolationist wing of the Republican Party to the internationalism of FDR and by 1947 Vandenberg had created the saying because he became a chief ally in the Senate of the Truman administration even though he was in the opposing party. He felt, and many came to agree with him, that members of an administration, the Senate or the House should leave their criticism and political maneuvering home when they visit other countries. To attack political opponents while abroad undermined our country in the face of foreigners.

It was good advice that most have followed since 1947. Until the brat in the White House and his grinning jackal of a VP got to Washington, that is.…

Let’s start with the always loquacious Maxine Waters. This queen of ignorance was pretending to act all bold and everything by saying she reused to be intimidated by the Tea Party movement. In her eloquent, lady-like manner she said, “This is a tough game. You can’t be intimidated. You can’t be frightened. And as far as I’m concerned, the ‘tea party’ can go straight to hell.”

Obama STILL Giving Obamacare Waivers out to Pals and Unions

We just had to have Obamacare, we were told. It was the best way to keep all Americans healthy, they claimed. Without Obamacare, we are not a fit place to live. So if Obamacre is so great, why has Obama given 1,472 of his best friends’ companies a waiver so that they can be excused from suffering under some aspects of Obamacare like the rest of us?

Obama and his cohorts have told us that the best thing for the country is to eliminate private insurance, make doctors all government employees, and take away our choices in healthcare with a single payer system. Yet, even as he’s is telling us we don’t deserve to be allowed to choose our own type of helathcare services and should be forced under Obamacare, he’s giving his buddies in the unions and other donors a free ticket out of Obamacare…

Well, in a very unusual move, this “hero” of Viet Nam has just had his Silver Star award revoked by the Navy.

Captain Sanders was the most outspoken member of Kerry’s “band of brothers” coterie of veterans that came to his support during his run for the White House. Was Obama’s CIA Behind Guns for Mexican Narco-Terrorists?

There was an interesting article in the Washington Times on August 11 that speculated that the CIA was an important participant in Obama’s gun walker/Operation Fast and Furious program that put free guns in the hands of Mexican narco-terrorists. The reason the CIA was so interested in doing this was to lend its support to one violent Mexican drug cartel in hopes it could defeat an even more violent Mexican drug cartel.

Of course, the CIA wasn’t the only conspirator in Obama’s arming of Mexican narco-terrorists. We know that the FBI, the DEA, and the BATF were in this mess up to each of their elbows and all have blood on their hands. Perry Parries Iowan’s Ire

Texas Governor Rick Perry has made it known that he’s going to announce his candidacy for the GOP nomination for president at the Red State Conference in South Carolina on August 13, the same weekend as the Ames, Iowa straw poll. This didn’t sit well with the Iowa Republican blog. The paper called Perry’s timing a “slap in the face to Iowa Republicans.”

The Iowa GOP uses the well-publicized straw poll as a fundraiser for the party and it is also has a sort of pride of place being one of the early, notable primary time events. The Democrats are pushing legislation that would take the word “navigable” out of our current Clean Water Act. If successful, the reconfigured law would give to the federal government the power over every water source in the USA. Every river, lake, stream, every creek, every driblet, even every stand alone pond would come under control of Washington’s EPA and the Army Corps of Engineers.

There has come a great marker of Obamaism that holds that everything he says has an expiration date and that he simply has no integrity because of it. How many foreign policy ideas (especially about the wars) has he presented that he’s done a 180 on? Well, here is another one, this on taxes. Just in 2009 Obama was saying that we shouldn’t be raising taxes during a recession, yet only two years later all he wants to do is raise taxes even though we are still in that self-same recession.

Obama’s Mexican Gun Running Paid For by Stimulus Money

This Operation Fast and Furious or Project Gunrunner (also called Gunwalker) scandal just keeps getting worse. Now we find out that Obama funneled stimulus dollars to help fund his plan to arm Mexican narco terrorists with US guns that have ended up killing Americans and Mexicans alike and have ended up in gang activity back here in the US.

That’s right. Obama was so intent on arming murderers in Mexico that he and his minions carved out stimulus money for the project.
