Romney Has NO Principles: Trump made an error offering Mitt Romney anything

The rumor mill is churning this weekend that President Elect Donald Trump is about to offer former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney the role of Secretary of State in his new administration. Certainly, it would be a mistake to offer Romney anything. But, worse, if Romney accepts the offer it will show he truly has no principles at all.

During the recently concluded campaign for president, former GOP nominee Romney said some of the harshest things possible about Donald Trump. The fact is Romney worked as hard as he could with his limited abilities to destroy Donald Trump. He called him a “phony and fraud.” He also attacked Trump for his personality, called him a “con man,” and said he is “dishonest.”

After his constant rants on how evil Trump is, I’ll lose even that last tiny bit of respect I had for loser Romney if he accepts any role in the Trump White House.

The Left’s Losing Its Mind Over Trump’s Possible Appointments Should Tell You Something

The media’s attempt to destroy the presidency of Donald J Trump before it even fairly begins is purring along nicely. Last week we were told Trump didn’t really expect to win and is unprepared to serve. And this week we have been treated to the hysteria over the leaks and announcements of who may or may not end up in the President Elect’s administration and cabinet.

First and foremost are the lies that Trump’s new strategy man is a “racist, Jew-hating, white supremacist.”

When the President Elect announced that he had appointed current GOP Party Chair Reince Priebus as his chief of staff, most in the media gave a collective shrug. Priebus is a member of the GOP establishment, certainly, but Trump rewarded him with this appointment because Reince really took his career in his hands by backing Trump 100 percent during the campaign despite the loud voices of the Never Trumpers in his own party who wanted to put Hillary in the White House.

But it was Trump’s appointment of former Breitbart News chief Stephen K. Bannon to an important role as chief strategist that sent the media into a tizzy of lies, innuendo, and baseless accusations.

With Bannon, the media threw away even a pretense of its usual “some say” practice used when it wants to smear someone on the center right side of aisle.

Un-American Media Calls for Insurrection Over President Elect Donald Trump

As common, everyday liberals take to the streets to beat up those they disagree with, blockade streets, and destroy other people’s property because, you know, they are all so into “peaceful democracy,” their instigators in the left-wing media and entertainment biz are egging them on with one meltdown after another all because Donald J. Trump won the election for president.

In the week before Election Day when Hillary Clinton was perusing office furniture catalogs and measuring for Oval Office drapes, the whole of the media was slamming anyone center right who dared make noise as if they wouldn’t accept the results of the 2016 election. And Donald Trump himself was at the top of that list.

Admittedly some of the attacks on Trump for not automatically saying he’d accept the results of the election were his own fault. The controversy arose on October 19 in the last presidential debate when the moderator asked the real estate mogul if he would immediately accept the results of the election on November 8. Trump demurred saying only that he’d have to wait until it all came about before he’d decide whether it was a legitimate outcome.

This is a logical stance to take, especially since he had spent about a year saying that we needed to be wary of Democrat vote fraud. But his reply was in-artful and guaranteed the media would attack him for it, and attack they did.

We MUST Engage in a Republican Civil War!

The 2016 election is finally over and GOP nominee Donald J. Trump pulled an amazing win out of the neatly wrapped up Clinton win as arranged by the pundits and the pollsters — and even some in the GOP establishment and “conservative” intelligentsia. And now the #NeverTrumprs and establishment Republicans are braying that we all now need to “work together” to move the nation forward. But don’t be fooled into canceling the coming Republican Civil War. Don’t capitulate to the very people who were pulling for Hillary. This war NEEDS to be fought.

The calls to “come together” are being heard all across Republicanland, of course. Take House Speaker Paul Ryan who on the day after the election gushed about the “enormous political feat” Trump achieved and sonorously noting that we have to “work to heal the division” in both party and country.

Ryan isn’t alone. The call to “work together” is the most common theme from all corners on the day after Election Day.

Another one calling for an end to any internal reckoning is PJ Media’s Roger Simon — who is a very good writer whom I like. In a Wednesday morning piece, Simon insisted straight out, “Trump Wins — Time to End the Republican Civil War.”

Here is Roger’s main hope:

So rather than pursue mutual assured destruction on our side, for winners to rub it in or losers to gripe — you can be sure the Democrats will have plenty of the same in store for us (imagine what Obama himself might try to pull, or the ever-corrupt Mr. Podesta) — I suggest we declare a ceasefire in the Republican civil war, effective now.

Simon contends — and with some sense — that we need to come together to make Washington work. I admire his sentiment.

Sadly, Simon is mistaken.

Unfortunately, his idea, here, is a mistake because it assumes that both sides will endeavor to come toward the middle between Trump’s most ardent and upset voters and the GOP establishment that worked as hard as it could to defeat Trump and give the White House to Hillary Clinton.

Simon seems to imagine it will be all heart, unicorns and rainbows if we cancel the looming civil war and “work together.”

While the GOP establishment will certainly bray for that cease fire and pretend they want to reach across the divide to work with the right-leaning, torch-carrying Trump mobs, in truth they have absolutely no desire whatever to work with “us” — by “us” I mean all those standing on the outside looking in on the liberal GOP establishment.

Shots Fired at Donald Trump Campaign Sign Outside North Carolina Man’s Home

A man in Cary, North Carolina, was shocked, frightened, and angered when someone opened fire on the Donald Trump campaign sign which was affixed to the front porch of his home last weekend. It’s just another example of the extreme violence perpetrated by liberals during this election cycle.

The fact is, nearly every single incident of violence and property destruction committed during this 2016 election has been perpetrated by the left. This is just another example.

Cary resident James Powers reported the incident to police on November 6 when upwards to 20 shots were fired through the sign late on the evening of November 5. Many of the projectiles went through the sign and struck Powers’ home.

Hillary’s Criminal Behavior and Scandals Pile Up Before Election Day, But Will It Matter?

As an avalanche of stories revealing Hillary Clinton’s corruption appear across the media landscape, just in time for Election Day crooked FBI Director James Comey is pronouncing the former Secretary of State “innocent.” So, will her real scandals matter as Americans go to the polls?

Just as FBI Director James Comey announced on Friday, October 28, that the Bureau was opening a second investigation into Hillary Clinton’s illegal, secret email server used to avoid both America’s transparency laws and her national security laws, Conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh floated an important theory as to why Comey was doing it.

Rush noted that a cynical view of Comey’s announcement might tend to bring one to imagine that it was all a feint. That Comey made his announcement to roil the news cycle, but before Election Day Comey would come out to make the miraculous announcement that they investigated and, once again, Hillary is innocent of any wrong doing.

Now, to add to the story, not long after Comey announced his renewed investigation, news broke that the FBI’s New York office was reviewing 650,000 new emails that had something to do with Hillary’s email server.

Now, remember, the first investigation that ended in July took over a year to look over 30,000 of Hillary’s emails.

Race for White House Collapsing for Democrats, But is it In Time for Trump

Staring in the middle of October the presidential race was already beginning to move toward the Republicans. But with last week’s announcement by FBI Director James Comey that the Bureau was opening a new investigation into Hillary Clinton’s illicit private email server hidden in her New York home when she was Obama’s Secretary of State, the race took a major lurch in favor of GOP nominee Donald Trump’. But with less than a week until Election Day, will that movement be enough to push Trump over the top?

Even before FBI Director Comey’s October 21 announcement the polls began to move in Trump’s favor. By the end of October just before the FBI announcement many of the polls had become statistical ties as time and again Trump had closed to within the margin of error — or close to it — both in national as well as many state-based surveys.

The polls began to tighten so much that many pollsters began to worry that their turnout models were built on incorrect assumptions of higher Democrat turnout.

Another thing that should worry pollsters is the incredible turnout at Trump rallies in comparison to the turnout at Clinton rallies. Trump commonly speaks before tens of thousands of supporters. In fact, it is just as common to see hundreds if not thousands who turn out to Trump rallies but end up not even able to get into the venues. On the other hand Hillary has been lucky to assemble a thousand supporters at a time.

But all this was even before the FBI’s announcement. After the news broke Trump’s drive accelerated.

Since last Friday there have been a long series of signs appearing that seems to auger bad tidings for the Clinton campaign.

Why Any Conservative With a Conscience Should be Done With The GOP

The 2016 general election was the last chance the Republican Party had to keep in the party anyone who considers himself a conservative. At this point, there is no reason whatever for a conservative to ever vote Republican again.

Firstly, the Republican Party stopped being an opposition party with the rise of Franklin Roosevelt’s remaking of the Democrat Party into a proto socialist operation. The very last Republican who cared anything about congressional privilege or the U.S. Constitution was Robert “Mr. Conservative” Taft and even he was a weaker version of the Republicans who locked up power for generations waving the bloody shirt after the civil war.

The Republican Party turned into a herd of whipped curs with the dawning of the 1940s, running with their tails between their legs in the face of outrageously bombastic Democrats who care neither about American tradition, the law, nor the truth.

Republicans have no principles and their only motivation is to be in a position to make themselves and their friends rich as possible while the act as junior partners to the Democrats.

The damning evidence that Democrats care nothing about people and everything about money and raw power is piling up more every day and the old media establishment is finally beginning to pay attention to the mounting scandals. But instead of reporting the truth, many in the media have now turned to spinning the WikiLeaks releases to help the Democrats and Clintons push the accusations aside.

We noted last week that few Americans had even heard of any of the scandals being released by WikiLeaks culled from thousands and thousands of emails from Clinton campaign chief John Podesta because the media was obsessed by a decade-old tape of Donald Trump saying untoward things about a woman with “Access Hollywood’s” Billy Bush.

It probably isn’t a huge surprise that the old media complex are not all fired up about reporting on the WikiLeaks story. After all, many of the emails show how the media has been in total collusion with the Clinton campaign. It is certain they are furious that their perfidy has been so clearly revealed… again.

The media has so blatantly ignored this scandal that vice presidential nominee Mike Pence noted that the media is “ignoring an avalanche of hard evidence about the Clinton’s corruption.”

Pence was aghast at the favoritism the media has shown to Hillary Clinton.

If you get most of your news from the old media establishment consisting of newspapers and TV network news you’d be forgiven for not knowing about the damaging information contained in the latest batch of hacked emails publicly released by the whistleblower site WilieLeaks. That would be because the old media is systematically ignoring the story. Why? Because what is contained in these emails is thoroughly damaging to the Democrat Party as well as to Hillary Clinton and her campaign.

As news about a decade-old recording of Donald Trump’s locker room banter continues to take the lion’s share of the old media’s attention, others have been digesting the 2 thousand emails from Hillary’s top campaign aide John Podesta. And what these emails say about the collusion of the media with team Hillary, the backroom vendetta Democrats had for Democrat candidate Bernie Sanders, the general hatred that Democrats have for the American people, and Team Hillary’s criminal actions is truly illuminating.

This particular batch of emails are hacked messages sent to and from Clinton campaign Chairman John Podesta. He is a long-term associate of the Clintons and was President Bill Clinton’s Chief of Staff from 1998 until 2001. Podesta also owns the Podesta Group, a major lobbying firm, and is the Chair of the Center for American Progress (CAP), a far left-wing Washington DC-based think tank.

Clinton Operative Email Calls Americans ‘illiterates,’ Says Bernie Sanders Employing Nazi Tactics

The Wikileaks release of over 2,000 emails from Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta reveals some of the vicious things Team Clinton was saying about Democrat candidate Bernie Sanders as well as the bulk of the American people. In one communiqué, for instance, Americans were called “illiterates” and Bernie Sanders was accused of employing Nazi tactics to beat Hillary in the primaries.

One Clinton operative who’s unsigned email to campaign chief Podesta was sent using the email address “mecof05@hotmail.com,” is typical of the kind of hate Podesta’s associates have showered upon the American people and Democrat candidate Bernie Sanders and his supporters.

This “mecof05” told John Podesta that the country is filled with “functional illiterates” who can’t understand the English language, said that Sanders was using tactics pioneered by Hitler’s Nazi propagandist Joseph Goebels, and complained that Sanders and Trump both are using the media just like the “Nazi media were used.”

In his opening paragraph, “mecof05” disparaged the American people saying, “There are too many functional illiterates now in the world and more than half of the population of the United States are a part of the irrational masses that the illiteracy produces.”

He went on to claim that Bernie Sanders is acting like a Nazi propagandist.

“Goebels taught us that if a people is told the same lie a thousand times, the people is drawn to believe it. It is Trump’s main asset but Sanders is also using it. There are a few things that may be of use,” the emailer wrote to Podesta.

Dem. Tim Kaine Turns Vice Presidential Debate Into Bickerfest

The one impression America came away with as the first and only vice presidential debate ended on Tuesday night, October 4, was that Democrat candidate Tim Kaine was more like a yip-yapping Chihuahua instead of the Pitbull that a second chair running mate should be. But he also figured as the perfect running mate for the biggest liar and crook ever to run for the White House because he threw one lie after another at his opponent.

As the debate came to a conclusion several of the flash polls and focus groups said that GOP candidate Mike Pence easily won the debate because he seemed calm, cool and collected. They also said he was more focused, tried to stay within the debate rules, and was far less hyper and contentious than his Democrat rival.

A panel of undecided voters from Ohio, for instance, felt Kaine came off poorly during his bout with Pence. One even called him a “jerk” for interrupting up to 70 times during the debate.

In fact, there is already a video showing the dozens of times Kaine talked past his time and tried to shout down his opponent during his opponent’s time.

‘NCIS Los Angeles’ Premiere Jokes Smashed Trump Piñata ‘Deserved It’

During the season premiere of the CBS series “NCIS: Los Angeles,” as the team conducted a stake out one of the agents found a battered and barely concealed Donald Trump Piñata in a garbage can then jokes “oh, he deserved it.”

As the NCIS LA team used a terrorist as bait to smoke out his associates, the members don various disguises to blend in with the public.

Detective Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) is dressed as a homeless man and while pretending to root through garbage cans comes upon a Piñata with a bight yellow shock of fluttering paper hair. Deeks pulls the Piñata out of the can a few inches and says, “I found a badly beaten Piñata.” Then shoves it back down while joking that the Piñata “deserved it.”

The 2 part, eighth season premiere aired on September 25. Part one was titled “High-Value Target” and part two “Belly of the Beast.” The Trump incident occurred near the end of part one.

This is far from the first time the NCIS franchise was seen attacking Republicans, conservatives, or those on the center right.

“NCIS: Los Angeles” has indulged slams on the right many times during its past seven seasons. In a 2013 episode, for instance, the main bad guy was an evil private healthcare insurance company. There were also tea party type characters cast in the role of villains not to mention a series of anti-capitalist tropes.

The Mainstream Media’s Taxing Attacks on Donald Trump–What At This Point Does It Matter?

Over the weekend The New York Times stirred controversy with a story based on purportedly shocking revelations about Donald Trump’s taxes. The paper insisted Trump got away with paying no taxes at all in the 1990s and this, they intimated, makes him some sort of hypocrite. So, to borrow a phrase, what at this point does it matter?

In a piece entitled, “Donald Trump Tax Records Show He Could Have Avoided Taxes for Nearly Two Decades, The Times Found,” the so-called “paper of record” published Trump’s personal tax information from 1995 and extrapolated its consequences on “decades” afterward. The paper claimed Trump took such heavy business losses in ’95 that “it could have allowed him to legally avoid paying any federal income taxes for up to 18 years.”

Of course, if the paper really did get ahold of Trump’s tax information and then published it without his permission, they would have broken the law. But… what are a few broken laws when the media needs so desperately to help Hillary Clinton win the election?

Democrats’ Most Wanted Voters: Convicted Criminals Get the Vote

As they desperately seek to enlarge their voting base, one group that Democrats are diligently working to cultivate are convicted felons–both those who have been released after serving their sentence and even those still sitting in jail.

The most recent example of Democrats cultivating felon voters cropped up earlier this year in the Commonwealth of Virginia where Democrat Governor and major Clinton operative Terry McAuliffe tried to pass off an executive order as state law in order to give felons in Virginia the right to vote.

In April, McAuliffe signed a sweeping executive order granting up to 206,000 convicted felons in Virginia the vote. It was a startling move that even the Richmond Examiner called “unprecedented.”

Saying the standards that disenfranchised felons is a “barrier” that “must be broken down,” the governor’s illicit order gave the vote to both non-violent and violent felons. Not only did he intend to give the vote to the common drug user caught with felon amounts of drugs, but McAuliffe decided that rapists and murderers should also have a say in the state’s elections.

So, #NeverTrump, You Won’t Vote Trump Because He Said He Didn’t Want Your Vote? Here is Why YOU are the Problem in This Equation

Many #NeverTrumpers are claiming they won’t vote for Donald Trump because he supposedly said he didn’t want the vote of conservatives. But what #NeverTrumpers are really doing is acting like liberals by putting their feeeeelings above the best interests of the country. In this equation, it is the #NeverTrumpers who are the problem, not Trump.

This isn’t a new problem, of course. Both John McCain and Jeb Bush said they didn’t want the support of conservatives when they were running for president. In fact, I refused to support Jeb in the primaries in part because of his nose thumbing and I refused to vote for John McCain in the 2008 primaries for the same reason.

McCain isn’t the last GOP candidate to do this. Into the 2016 campaign for president, Jeb Bush did the same thing. In 2014 he said he could win the nomination (like McCain did) without the support of conservatives. Most ideologically conservative voters–i.e. conservative first and Republican second–obliged Jeb by refusing to support his primary campaign.

Many also carried it past the primaries. After McCain said it back during his runs for the White House, many conservatives returned the favor by vowing never to vote for him even in the general election. I was one of them. I refused to vote for McCain against Barack Obama and now I feel I was wrong (explanation below) and I reversed course for 2012 and voted Romney despite how much I hated him.

Now, the primaries are one thing. Of course the primaries are the time when you should refuse to vote for someone who said he doesn’t want your vote. This goes without saying.

But regardless of what a candidate said during the primary on this topic, the general election is a different game.

Today the redoubtable Phyllis Schlafly passed away at the age of 92 years young. Schlafly was a major voice for the conservative cause and will be dearly missed.

This year at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), I was fortunate enough to get some time to interview one of the most redoubtable conservative activists in the nation, Phyllis Schlafly. In this eighteen minute video you will encounter a woman that is extremely vital and at 89-years-of-age still sharp as a tack.

Republicans Who Support Hillary Are Traitors to This Country

The news media has been all a twitter over the small group of ne’er-do-wells, government leeches, and has-beens who claim to have been Republicans in the past but who are now nonetheless supporting Hillary Clinton for President. But those who pretend at being Republican and support Hillary need to be ostracized and cast out of the center right coalition, not because they are traitors merely to the Republican Party but because they are traitors to the entire country.

These group of un-American traitors have joined together to push a fool-filled group going by the name Republicans for Clinton (or R4C16). They explain their disastrous support for this anti-American effort as one that will “defeat Donald Trump, restore GOP leadership and save the senate.”

But in truth, if people are stupid enough to join these halfwits and are successful in their goal of electing the criminal Clinton to the White House their group will achieve none of those things.

Now, I don’t say this as a big Trump guy. I supported Cruz and there is a ton I don’t like about Trump. But he is by leaps and bounds better than Hillary.

Time to ‘John Birch’ the Alt-Right? No, More Like Time to Ignore Them

This week redoubtable conservative columnist Jonah Goldberg noted that the conservative movement must “John Birch” the Alt-Right, meaning we need to destroy them and kick them out of the center right tent. But Jonah is being ridiculous. In reality we need to go back to ignoring this group of loudmouthed misfits because they are insignificant.

In his August 31 article, Goldberg waxed poetic over how wonderful Hillary Clinton has been for defending conservatives against the racists, hatemongers, and nutballs of the “Alt-Right.”

Hillary recently went on a tirade against this mysterious Alt-Right, denouncing them as racists, and slamming GOP nominee Donald Trump for playing the Alt-Right’s racist, white supremacist game. Goldberg apparently thought her speech and focus was wonderful and suggested that instead of Hillary shouldering this task alone the whole of the center right coalition should come down on the Alt-Right just as hard as William F. Bucklyites did against the John Birch Society in the early 1960s.

For a bit of history, the John Birch Society (JBS) was a very large and potent pseudo conservative group founded in 1958 and led by a messianic leader named Robert W. Welch, Jr. The group’s main appeal was a virulent anti-communism, which was a popular ideal at the height of the Cold War. It also developed into a strong nationalist organization that opposed the U.N. Welch even attacked President Eisenhower as a communist plant in the White House and there were also elements of racism among JBSers.

At one point the group claimed to have a million members but whatever its real number it certainly had chapters all across the nation. And all its members were fed by Welch’s newsletters and propaganda.

Eventually the group got so radicalized that Buckley, founder of the National Review magazine, decided that it was time to ostracize them from the conservative movement and make sure Americans understood that the JBSers were absolutely not part of the conservative movement.

That is what Goldberg is proposing that we now do to the Alt-Right, an internet fringe that grew out of white separatist ideals, crypto Nazism, and filled with Ku Klux Klan members who grew to feel the Klan was just a bit too radical even for them.

Here is How #NeverTrump Conservatives Committed Suicide Over Trump

Listen, I get it: Trump is not a conservative It is just that simple. But continuing to oppose him even after he has fairly won the GOP nomination is self-defeating for conservatives–no matter if Trump wins OR loses. Here’s why.

First of all, if Trump loses few-rank-and-file, center right voters will blame Trump. They will in part blame those conservatives who so loudly opposed him. They will say that the constant anti-Trump drumbeat by conservatives helped depress the vote for Trump and he lost because of it.

This will distance normal, everyday voters who are not steeped in conservative ideology even farther away from the reach of conservatives hoping to educate voters toward a better way of thinking.

If Hillary wins, these voters whose candidate was beaten by one of the most corrupt Democrats ever to trod the halls of Congress will see no reason at all to listen to a single word conservatives say. Conservatives will have lost the ear of the voters for a lifetime.

Conservatives look like the bad guys in a losing Trump scenario.

Dear #NeverTrump: Your Fears of Trump as Dictator Are Silly, HERE is Why

One of the many reasons anti-Trumpers say Donald Trump is unsuitable to be our president is that he is an authoritarian and might make for a sort of dictator in the oval office. But whatever Trump’s tendencies, it seems pretty clear that this fear is an absurd one.

Firstly we have to realize that having a dictator in office is a legitimate fear. Barack Obama has spent eight years proving to be the most dictatorial and lawless president in American history. It is also completely clear that Hillary has inculcated Obama’s lesson well and will be as bad or worse than he has been.

Democrats today don’t give a fig about the Constitution or “the law” and will do anything they want until they find opposition too strong to over come. And even in that case they will just put whatever is being opposed on a back burner to be raised later as opposed to abandoned. The fact that the law would prevent them from their actions is meaningless to them. Might makes right to a Democrat and the rule of law has no meaning and Hillary will likely charge forward and do anything she wants and wait to be opposed afterward instead of fearful of being opposed at the start. It’s easier to ask forgiveness than permission, as the saying goes.

That Hillary will certainly be at least the second most dictatorial president in history is inarguable.

That being said, what about Trump? I would tend to agree that Trump evinces authoritarian tendencies. His boisterous personality and combative attitude would tend to make one assume he would rather make decrees based on whim rather than issue policies based on a careful consideration of the law. I would also agree that it all isn’t very presidential.

But does this make him “just as bad as Hillary”? Any review of the news this week would tend to destroy that claim.

After Scolding Trump, Now It’s Khizr Khan Making a Mockery of His Son’s Sacrifice

The father of a slain U.S. soldier who happened to be a Muslim made himself a temporary icon for liberals when he went on stage at the Democrat convention and attacked Donald Trump. But now that father, Khizr Khan, is going on the Sunday shows and making a mockery of his own son’s sacrifice by claiming Islam has “nothing to do” with terrorism.

Mr. Kahn lost his son, Captain Humayun Kahn, in Iraq in 2004 and in an attempt to shore up their military bonafides, the Democrats pushed him up on stage during their convention in Philadelphia to wag his finger in GOP nominee Donald Trump’s face.

With a wife who befitting of the second class status of women in Islam was standing at his side and not allowed to say a word, Mr. Kahn insisted that he and Muslims like him are “loyal” to the United States and as proof offered the story of his son who fell in service to the country in Iraq.

Waving a booklet of the U.S. Constitution, Kahn attacked Trump saying, “If it was up to Donald Trump, [Kahn’s son] never would have been in America. Donald Trump consistently smears the character of Muslims. He disrespects other minorities, women, judges, even his own party leadership. He vows to build walls and ban us from this country.”

Kahn ended his attack on Trump yelling, “You have sacrificed nothing. And no one.”

As he waved the Constitution, the bereaved father also yelled at Trump to look in the document to find the words “liberty” and “equal protection under the law,” the latter in a nod to religious liberty apparently.

But, here is the thing… potential immigrants do not have a right to expect that the U.S. is not allowed to screen them out because of their religion, their nationality, or any other factor. The U.S. Constitution does not force the federal government to apply Constitutional rights to foreigners waiting at our door to enter the country.

Today All True Americans Are Left Without a Party

If you are a true, constitutionally minded American, you really are left without a party or even a faction. It really is that simple.

Now, before I get rolling on this, I am not a Trump supporter — I wanted Cruz. On the other hand I am also not a #NeverTrumper, either — Because, well, Hillary. But today’s nomination of Donald Trump is both in keeping with our system and evidence that the system has been damaged, perhaps irreparably.

Also, the whole destruction of America began with the Democrat Party, it is certain. However, the Democrats didn’t act alone and contrary to popular belief the GOP has NOT been the stalwart, true-blue Americans standing athwart the Democrats’ path and yelling “this but no farther.”

Let’s face it, the GOP hasn’t been a real opposition party since maybe before Robert “Mr. Republican” Taft walked the halls of the capital. At the very least since Eisenhower the GOP has been the junior partner to the Democrat Party supporting the exact same ideals but only at a slower, more orderly gait.

It is well known that many purported conservatives — especially those of the intellegencia and the so-called neocon bent — feel that the welfare state is permanent, over spending is forever, and big government cannot, and maybe should not, be turned back because they feel it is all a settled question and as Republicans all we can do is slow the wheels a little bit and make sure the march to socialism isn’t as tumultuous as the Democrats want it to be.

So, the Republican Party and its intellegencia have abandoned the American way, granted they’ve done so far later than the Democrats who abandoned the American way at the end of the 1800s when socialism and then communism was the great new thing that was to save the world and perfect the human animal.

The Lack of Logic in the World of #NeverTrump

It seems to me there are some major logical disconnects in the world of #NeverTrump that simply boggle the mind. In fact, in many ways these disconnects make hypocrites out of the #NeverTrumpers.

Before I get to the topic at hand, let me say I fully understand the reasons they don’t like Trump. In fact, I share their sentiment in many ways and I did not support Trump in the primaries. I have also written against him in years past, so there’s that. He seems to me to be more or less a non-commital liberal. He’s no conservative and I prefer conservatives.

I say this to note that I understand their anti-Trump sentiment. Further I agree that if they can’t vote for him they shouldn’t. But I have a major problem with some of their claims for pushing a third candidate–most especially one that is to come out of the blue and at the last second.

One of the main points many #NeverTrumpers use to eschew Trump is that, despite his coming out on top in the primaries, millions of voters voted for other candidates instead of Trump. This, they say, means “most”–or at least a large portion–of the GOP voter base did not want Trump and therefore he isn’t the most popular candidate among the center-right wing of the U.S. electorate.

So, they say Trump is illegitimate because he didn’t *really* get the majority of the GOP primary votes. OK, well and good. Let’s go with that.

Yet, on the other hand, they say they want to run a third party candidate and they say this mythic candidate can win if they focus their campaign only on the states with the largest Electoral College votes. That way he doesn’t have to run a “national” campaign and can focus on a strategic campaign that uses the rules to win instead of one that aims to sweep the whole country and get the largest number of votes.

CA School OKays Hispanic Students Wearing ‘Dump Trump’ Shirts Even as U.S. Flag Shirts Banned

A California high school has agreed to allow Hispanic students to wear their “Dump Trump” T-Shirts on campus despite a dress code that seems to prohibit them. The controversy is set against a backdrop of a federal court ruling banning U.S. flag shirts in California schools.

Sean Boulton, the principal of Newport Harbor High School in Newport Beach, a town south of Los Angeles, decided to acquiesce to the request of a group of Hispanic students who wanted to wear their shirts denigrating GOP front runner Donald Trump even as the school’s dress code could be read as prohibiting them.

The school’s dress code for the 2015/16 school year puts a ban on clothing with “inappropriate graphics” and clothing with messages that “denigrates others on account of gender, sexual orientation, race color, religion, ancestry, national origin, handicap or disadvantage.”

Despite those rules, school authorities are now allowing students to wear shirts attacking Trump and his voters.

Obama to Make One More Push Against Guns Before He Leaves Office

As he looks to the exit as the last year of his last term winds down, Barack Obama is about to take one more stab at curtailing the Second Amendment with yet another push to force so-called “smart gun” technology on the firearms industry and it’s a plan even police officers stand against.

Obama has failed to limit the Second Amendment like he had hoped to do when he came into office, but that isn’t for lack of trying and as his last term comes to an end he is once again trying to force the nation’s law enforcement community to set aside their proven, usable firearms and instead begin using problematic “smart gun” technology.

With his latest anti-gun policy, the President is urging federal and local policing agencies to purchase so-called “smart guns” quite despite that there is no current technology reliable enough for law enforcement use. And police say they don’t want to be Obama’s guinea pigs.

According to Politico, already sick and tired of how badly the Obama administration has treated them with years of backbiting since the Ferguson, Missouri riots, the nation’s law enforcement community (both federal and local) are not much interested in helping Obama prove the so far unworkable smart gun technology as a viable option.

Unapologetic Millennial Conservative Has a TOUGH Message for Her Generation

Young journalist Alexis Bloomer has a message for her fellow millennials and it’s one many won’t want to hear. Alexis wants her fellow 20 somethings to “pull their pants up” and start actually contributing to society instead of lazing around and posting social media updates as if that was activism.

Bloomer also has a message to the older generations: “I’m Sorry,” she says. Sorry for the many failings of her arrogant generation.

The journalist said she decided to assess her generation. “As a millennial, I decided to take it upon myself to try to evaluate what’s so wrong with our generation and why they’re so mad at us,” she said on her video posted to Youtube.

But as she looked over her generation she realized that some of the harshest criticism of millennials probably has a lot of validity to it.

“We’re just existing, we’re not really contributing anything to society,” she insisted and then went on to lay out all the accusations against her generation.

“Our generation doesn’t have the basic manners that include no ma’am and yes ma’am,” Bloomer said. “We don’t even hold the door open for ladies much less our elders anymore.”

Today is the Anniversary of When Republicans Outlawed the Democrat Run KKK Terror Group

It is indisputable that the Republican Party is really the party of civil rights, not the Democrats. And today we have one more example of that truism with the 145th anniversary of the Republican Party’s essential outlawing of the Ku Klux Klan, the Democrat Party’s domestic terror group.

The actions against the Klan stemmed from an outrageous massacre of nearly 300 blacks perpetrated by white, Democrat Klan members in Louisiana in 1868.

On September 28, 1868 — three years after the Confederate south lost the civil war — a mob of marauding whites rampaged through Opelousas, Louisiana and massacred nearly 300 blacks who were Republican voters.

The outrage began when white, Democrat KKK members attacked the white owner of a Republican-leaning newspaper. The newspaper editor, a former school teacher for black students, was defended by several black friends during the attack and this action enraged the mob further sending them on a day-long spree of murder and mayhem.

The attack was so outrageous that the Republican Party acted to essentially ban the KKK. By April 20, 1871, the GOP passed a law banning the oppression perpetrated by the KKK when President Ulysses Grant and Congress passed the Ku Klux Klan Act, also known as the third Enforcement Act. The law established penalties against anyone who tried to deprive any other citizen the benefit of equal protection under the laws of the United States. The law also gave the president the power to use the military to ensure that the rights of blacks were upheld.

This interest in civil rights carried all the way to the 1964 Civil Rights bill that was passed with the overwhelming support of Republicans.

Let’s Clear Something Up About a ‘Contested’ GOP Convention, Voters DON’T Count and NEVER DID!

There is a lot of valid angst about who will become the nominee for both the Republican and the Democrat Parties this year. We are in a day when the voters are clearly pulling in a multitude of ways and not giving any candidate an overwhelming nod. But there is also a lot of BS about how “the will of the voters” is being thwarted by the party system and much of this is misinformed.

I am not saying that none of this should make you mad. Just get the facts before you get mad. Don’t shy from getting mad, just be informed while you do it!

Let’s just get one fact out of the way at the outset: your vote in a primary is not and never was the only or even the final say on who the party picks for its nominee. The will of the voter does matter in a general election where the nation picks the president, but not as much in a primary when the parties are picking who they will offer up as a candidate for the forthcoming general election. The fact is, primaries are not “the election.”

It is the party that picks the nominee, not the voter. Yes, the votes in the primary are a key guide for the party and yes, if the vote is overwhelming for a particular candidate both parties generally chose that candidate. But, the fact is the parties — any party — can pick who ever the heck they want quite regardless of the vote totals.

After all, that is what a party is for, to control its destiny and policies.

Governor Nathan Deal’s Dumbest Claim to Quash Religious Freedom

On Monday Georgia Governor Nathan Deal vetoed a religious liberty bill that would stop state authorities from forcing Christians to participate in gay marriages, but one of the “reasons” Deal said prevented him from signing the bill is fraught with a pretzel logic he can’t possibly believe.

In the Governor’s view, HB 757 was “discriminatory.” Instead of protecting religious freedom, Deal claimed it only served to oppress gays. Worse, he said despite clear examples of such coercion in other states, since it’s never happened in Georgia then the law isn’t needed.

Of course, the law was written to head off the sort of state-sponsored coercion and curtailment of religious liberty seen in other states, not necessarily a law meant to correct what has already happened in the Peach State. The fact it has happened in a number of other states was plenty enough reason to try to prevent it from happening at all in Georgia.

In any case, Deal goes on to note how religious liberty is one of the first principles of the founding of the country. The founders, Deal said, “made it clear that those liberties [religious liberties] were given by God and not by man’s government. Therefore, it was unnecessary to enumerate in statute or constitution what those liberties included.”

He then went on to indulge some truly absurd pretzel logic that is so tortured even he can’t possible believe it…
