The damning evidence that Democrats care nothing about people and everything about money and raw power is piling up more every day and the old media establishment is finally beginning to pay attention to the mounting scandals. But instead of reporting the truth, many in the media have now turned to spinning the WikiLeaks releases to help the Democrats and Clintons push the accusations aside.
We noted last week that few Americans had even heard of any of the scandals being released by WikiLeaks culled from thousands and thousands of emails from Clinton campaign chief John Podesta because the media was obsessed by a decade-old tape of Donald Trump saying untoward things about a woman with “Access Hollywood’s” Billy Bush.
It probably isn’t a huge surprise that the old media complex are not all fired up about reporting on the WikiLeaks story. After all, many of the emails show how the media has been in total collusion with the Clinton campaign. It is certain they are furious that their perfidy has been so clearly revealed… again.
The media has so blatantly ignored this scandal that vice presidential nominee Mike Pence noted that the media is “ignoring an avalanche of hard evidence about the Clinton’s corruption.”
Pence was aghast at the favoritism the media has shown to Hillary Clinton.
The American people are very, very troubled. once again, here we are in an election of such enormous magnitude in the life of this nation, and once again, the media is piling on with unsubstantiated claims as the headlines while they ignore an avalanche of hard evidence about corruption, pay to play, political favoritism emanating out of Hillary Clinton’s years as secretary of state. We found out this week, that while she was secretary of state, her officials in that department actually directed reconstruction contracts in Haiti to friends of the Clinton. this is precisely the kind of pay to play politics she said wasn’t happening as their foundation accepted tens of millions of dollars from foreign governments.
Just this morning The New York Times is reporting that in exchange for a five-minute meeting, the government of Qatar pledged $1 million to the Clinton Foundation. The American people are tired of all of this, and frankly, they’re very tired, present company excepted, they’re tired of the media going after unsubstantiated allegations that Donald Trump has categorically denied while they willfully ignore an avalanche of hard evidence about Clinton’s scandals.
Pence called out the media several other times over their bias, too. On both CBS and NBC’s Sunday shows the VP candidate slammed the media for its bias.
“Donald Trump made it very clear yesterday,” he said, “he has categorically denied these allegations and these kind of unsubstantiated claims being given so much focus in the media at the time we have hard evidence flowing out of the Clinton Foundation.”
“We had evidence this week, in fact, that while she was Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton and her aides actually gave preferential treatment to friends of the Clintons for reconstruction contracts in Haiti,” Pence added.
This all should come as no surprise, though, when the media itself has become so self deluded that reality is just not something they can ever grasp anymore.
For the most obvious example of that self delusional state, we turn to “reporter” Chris Cillizza of the Washington Post who recently insisted that “reporters” don’t “root for a side.”
Let me say for the billionth time: Reporters don’t root for a side. Period. https://t.co/dhH8eherOR

Yeah… and he was serious.
So, now the media is finally spending a few minutes here and there on the WikiLeaks releases, but in many cases it is to spin them, debunk them, or just wave them away instead of giving them truthful coverage.
In fact, as far as CNN’s Chris Cuomo is concerned, YOU, the American people, shouldn’t even be allowed to see the Clinton campaign’s emails. Cuomo outrageously told his audience that it is a crime for we lowlivian citizens to dare to read the WikiLeaks releases and that we should let our betters in the media do it for us.
“Also interesting is remember,” Cuomo blurted out, “it’s illegal to possess, ah, the stolen documents — it’s different for the media. So everything you’re learning about this, you’re learning from us.”
NBC tried its own way to cajole its viewers into paying little mind to the mounting outrages found in the WikiLeaks releases. Instead of telling its audience that it was illegal to even look at the documents, as CNN tried to do, NB told its viewers that they were all too stupid to understand it all so they should just ignore it.
During the October 12 broadcast of “NBC Today,” Bloomberg Politics editor Mark Halperin told viewers that the email release was “too inside baseball” and too “complicated” for the stupid voters to understand.
But before he made that proclamation, Halperin pretty much dismissed the who story. At the start of his segment Halperin was asked to rate the scandal on a one to ten scale (ten being the worst). Halperin waved it away as a low “three.”
“Three today with the potential to go to eight as reporters dig in to some of this stuff and more come,” he said.
Halperin then went on to say that the scandal is just too complicated for voters understand to get mad about.
“I don’t think so. Most of the things that have come out so far are such inside baseball, they’re complicated stories,” Halperin added. “And unlike the controversies involving Donald Trump, they don’t directly involve Hillary Clinton, they involve her team. We’ll have to see how stuff develops and whether it gets closer to her.”
Halperin did have one sensible point on the story, though. He said the story wouldn’t gain greater status unless the media did its job to highlight and report on the story. Naturally he was less interested in doing that than i yapping about it, though.
So, as you can see, the media has finally gotten around to talking a little bit about the WikiLeaks releases only to spin them away as inconsequential without even really reporting on them.
This is my “shocked” face.
