It has been 13 years since that horrible day in 2001 when terrorism hit America with a vengeance. But many want to forget and pretend it never happened and we already have a generation of kinds just about to, or soon to enter into their teen years who can’t remember what happened on September 11, 2001. It is up to us to keep the memory of that day alive lest we allow it to be repeated.
But how do we approach that remembrance? But looking at an empty word document sitting ready to be filled with my 9/11 remembrance finds words coming slowly and I find it so hard to start this piece.
But I realized why it is so hard for me to start this piece. I am still furious, feelings are still too raw, I still well up when I see video of the towers falling, my heart still stops when I see that heart-wrenching image of bodies falling from windows hundreds of feet in the air. I still get that dark feeling in the pit of my stomach, the same one I felt that morning in 2001.
It’s all still too emotional to write a mere memorial. Words fail me.

The media is upset this weekend that President Donald Trump canceled the “White House Muslim Iftar Dinner tradition started by Thomas Jefferson.” But the media is wrong in every respect. Thomas Jefferson never held any Iftar dinner and only three out of 45 presidents ever hosted one, so there is no such “tradition” to cancel.

Texas Senator and GOP presidential primary runner up, Ted Cruz, wants to revoke the citizenship of any American who tries to join ISIS or otherwise turns to Muslim terrorism. One has to wonder why, exactly, it is that we haven’t already made this idea into law, but apparently we haven’t.
As the western world prepares for Christmas Day, a celebration of love, a time for family, and the hope of world peace, Muslims are gathering to celebrate the sort of carnage and death they happily promulgate during every other day of the year. Actor Jude Law seems to fancy himself some sort of intellectual philanthropist but his trip to the illegal Muslim migrant camp in Calais, France nicknamed “The Jungle” proves once again that actors should be ignored when they are off the screen because they are generally too stupid to be worth anyone’s time.

A Democrat candidate for the House in Minnesota has abandoned his campaign and fled his social media after saying that ISIS “isn’t necessarily evil” prompting an avalanche of criticism. He said his Tweet was poorly worded and didn’t relate what he actually meant, but his nonsense is a perfect encapsulation of the utter stupidity of left-wing, politically correct thinking taken to its logical end point.
Before the last act of terror was over in Paris, President Obama rushed out to make a short address to the nation to give America’s response to the outrage. But the President somehow forgot to mention anything about just what caused these attacks: Islamic terrorism.
Since the day his regime took over in Washington, Barack Obama’s blinkered “intelligence” agencies have been warning that it is white people, conservative groups, tea partiers, military veterans, and “militias” that are the real danger lurking in America and recently Obama’s FBI did it again claiming that “militias” (read white male gun enthusiasts) are looking to attack Muslims inside the USA.
I thought liberals were always congratulating themselves on how they are so mentally superior that they see “nuances” everywhere? Now a halfwit liberal is making the lie to that by equating U.S. slavery to ISIS rape culture thereby proving he is an utter simpleton.
This is why we are failing to stop Muslim terrorists. If we can’t identify who the enemy is, how can we fight him? The question is pertinent since this week Obama’s Secretary of Homeland Security insisted that Islam is not the cause of any terrorism in the world today. How can he say that? Because he claims that terrorists aren’t really Muslims. Oh, you heard that right, America.
In June, Nevada’s Republican Sen. Dean Heller tried to get the Pentagon to change its practice of banning arms from our soldiers on bases and in recruiting centers here in America. Unfortunately for our soldiers, John McCain was the principle foe of the move and helped to defeat the arming of our soldiers, a decision that recently had deadly consequences in Tennessee.
MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell was so desperate to absolve Islam as a motive for yesterday’s terror attack by a Tennessee Muslim she tried to get a classmate of the murderer to say that the killer liked southern culture, guns, and hunting like other southerners do. Because, you know, conservative southerners are more prone to terror than Muslims are, right?
For decades one of the most unusual things about Arabs in particular and Muslims in general is that they are stupid enough to fall for wild-eyed conspiracy theories all born of hate for Israel and the Untied States. But as reactions to Ferguson continue to reverberate here in the US, it appears that African Americans are no different than spittle specked, Muslim terror supporters with their own ease of accepting homegrown, wild-eyed conspiracies.
