Everyday the liberal, old media establishment search for stories of black men illicitly accosted by our “raaaaacist” law enforcement community. So, you probably won’t hear this story of the armed African American who had an out-of-date driver’s license and other violations and was stopped by police but wasn’t arrested, or beaten up, or killed.
The story comes from the Facebook posting of a fellow named Steven Hildreth, Jr., an African American who wanted to tell the whole world about his encounter with the Tucson, Arizona police department.
But, unlike so many others looking to score big in the racebaiting industry, Mr. Hildreth didn’t post his story to call raaaacism, or attack our men in blue. In fact, Hildreth not only had the opposite message, but he even had a moral to pass on for why he wasn’t beaten up or harassed by police even though he was an armed black man who had some registration violations.
In fact, I’m not going to even rewrite his story. Here it is as he posted it on October 27:
So, I’m driving to my office to turn in my weekly paperwork. A headlight is out. I see a Tucson Police Department squad vehicle turn around and follow me. I’m already preparing for the stop.
The lights go on and I pull over. The officer asks me how I’m doing, and then asks if I have any weapons.
“Yes, sir. I’m a concealed carry permit holder and my weapon is located on my right hip. My wallet is in my back-right pocket.”
The officer explains for his safety and mine, he needs to disarm me for the stop. I understand, and I unlock the vehicle. I explain that I’m running a 7TS ALS holster but from the angle, the second officer can’t unholster it. Lead officer asks me to step out, and I do so slowly. Officer relieves me of my Glock and compliments the X300U I’m running on it. He also sees my military ID and I tell him I’m with the National Guard.
NOT a Victim: The Story of the Armed Black Man Stopped by Cops and WHY He DIDN’T Go to Jail”
A coach for a prep school in Arizona has been suspended for praying with his team during last week’s homecoming game. He was told it was “against the law.”
Folks, here is just another example of why Senator John McCain is a traitor to the Republican Party. On October 28, McCain came to the support of Democrat Dick Durbin, one of the worst, most partisan hacks for leftism in the Senate.
Here is a story that shows why we don’t let children decide what they want to do for themselves. In Arizona, a high school teacher thought it would be a great idea for his kids to put on a play that features incest and bestiality. He got suspended for this leftist idea, but the silly children are rallying behind this warper of souls hoping to get his punishment vacated.
On Friday morning, April 12, a package suspected of containing an explosive device was addressed to the offices of the Maricopa County, Arizona, Sheriffs offices of Joe Arpaio, known as “America’s toughest sheriff.”
Now this seems like a case of blatant influence peddling to me, but the owner of a water utility company in Arizona is seeking the assistance of a friendly state regulatory agency to allow him to charge his customers a higher rate so that he can use their money to pay his income taxes.
I suppose we couldn’t get past the one-year anniversary of the crime against Democrat Representative Gabrielle Giffords without some Old Media outlet blaming the supposed “heated” political rhetoric of the day for her shooting. On Sunday we saw NPR doing just that. The fact is, no matter how many times they say it, politics and the “heated rhetoric” thereof had absolutely nothing at all to do with Giffords’ shooting. The linking of the crime to politics is just not legitimate.
Tougher than Arizona’s, Alabama’s new immigration law is a perfect example of the best way to put limits on illegal immigration. Sadly these are laws being forced upon the states to implement instead of coming from the federal government, but regardless they are effective in limiting illegals.
I was wondering how long this would take, but apparently my wait is over. A recall petition to oust Clarence Dupnik, the partisan, leaky-mouthed Sherif of Pima County, Arizona, is finally underway. Dipstick… er, I mean Dupnik, is now infamous for instantly blaming Fox News, Sarah Palin, the Tea Party and all conservatives for the actions of deranged killer Jared Loughner in Tucson. Even before the first facts were known, Dipstick was speculating along his hateful, partisan line that it was the right that was responsible for the crime.
Barack Obama has given more payoffs, sweetheart deals, and new favorable regulations to Big Labor than any president in history. They should love him for his incredible largess. Next, in his never ending quest to harm the business community, defy the will of the voters, and give his pals in Big Labor paybacks, Obama’s National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) — a federal labor regulatory agency — is about to sue any state that dares attempt to protect the right of workers to have secret ballots in their workplace elections. The states have made the mistake of sponsoring worker’s ballot protection laws.
Bobby Rush always did have a lot of stones. He went from being an outlaw and criminal member of the Black Panthers in Chicago to being a legitimate, elected Congressman from the self-same city. Now Rush is hiding behind both the crime in Arizona and Martin Luther Kin, Jr. in order to push his anti-constitutional gun grabbing agenda.
One would think that once you were the collateral damage of an assassination attempt, you’d be much less apt to be issuing death threats of your own to people. Sadly, shooting victim J. Eric Fuller was not so sensitive as one might think his experience would make him. At a townhall meeting Saturday, an incensed
Last night in Arizona someone planned a memorial service and a pep rally broke out. In a wildly inappropriate display of mirth, rock star adulation, screams from the crowd and raucous applause the purported memorial service held at University of Arizona for those that fell at the hands of a crazed shooter earlier in the week went badly awry Wednesday night.
Well, it’s the old “glass houses” story, isn’t it? AFL-CIO boss
A 22-year-old man named Jared Loughner has been arrested for attacking a group of people outside an Arizona grocery store with a firearm. Wounded in the attack was Arizona Representative Gabrielle Gifford and
