Connecticut politicians apparently thought their people were sheep.
Gun owners lining up to toss away their rights in Connecticut.
A few weeks ago I noted that it seems that tens of thousands of Connecticut’s gun owners were refusing to register their suddenly illegal guns and large capacity ammunition magazines. Now the media in the Nutmeg State are finally starting to notice.
At the end of January, I asked the key question, “How did ‘millions’ of high capacity magazines disappear in Connecticut?,” wherein I noted that previous estimates of how many assault weapons and magazines existed in the state was far and above that of those registered by the deadline imposed by the new anti-gun legislation. And I pointed out that it seems that hundreds of thousands of Connecticut’s gun owners are simply refusing to obey the new registration laws.
Now the Hartford Courant is noting the same discrepancy I wrote about weeks ago.
The state’s biggest paper noted that the nearly 50 thousand new registrations of so-called assault weapons is only 15 percent of the guns estimated by authorities to be in the hands of citizens.

Now businesses will have to go hat in hand to Obama to 
Senator Dick Durbin is at it again, lying through his teeth, this time about Obamacare. On Sunday’s Meet The Press, Illinois Democrat Durbin made the wild-eyed claim that ten million Americans found new health insurance thanks to Obamacare. He also claimed that Obamacare would lower the deficit. But even the Washington Post gave its worst rating to Durbin’s lies.
One state, at least, is beginning to understand what the “right to bear arms” really means. Kansas is now allowing citizens with legal, concealed carry firearms licenses to carry their arms inside public buildings. And liberals are screaming bloody murder.
The disaster that is Obamacare rolls ever onward. This time we have U.S. Senator Rand Paul who has been trying to get his own family signed up for Obamacare only to find that the state of Kentucky automatically assigned Paul’s own son to Medicaid even though the Senator was trying to arrange for an insurance policy he intends to pay for himself.

One of the most famous fighters of Cold War communism still in the land of the living, Polish leader and liberty icon Lech Walesa, is not too keen on the “failure” that is Barack Obama. In fact, Obama has been down right “dangerous” for the world Walesa says.
As Obamacare continues to spiral down into an ever deeper morass, Democrats are coming to understand that the law will be an anchor around their necks in the upcoming 2014 midterm elections and so they badly want the mess fixed before it is too late. Now they are urging Obama to pick another czar to fix the healthcare law, this time calling the position a “CEO” for Obamacare.
On Monday, December 23, the White House tried to make “news” by claiming that President Obama “signed up” for Obamacre. Only, the truth is it was just a lame publicity stunt. Obama did not sing up for anything.
Obama claimed that he wanted to “fundamentally transform America” as he got ready to take the White House in 2008. Five years later, we see what he means. We now have more Americans in the depths of poverty, more Americans on welfare, and more Americans taking food stamps than ever. And now we discover that more Americans are on disability payments than the entire population of many foreign countries!
New Jersey’s Republican Governor Chris Christie slammed Obamacare as a “train wreck” in comments made at a Jersey radio station on November 25.
First Obama pushes a deal with Iran that does nothing to prevent that Muslim nation from getting the bomb putting Israel in mortal danger, before that he sided with al Qaeda and other Muslim groups in Syria despite that they are murdering Christians just for being Christians, and now Obama disses Catholics by moving the US embassy to the Vatican out of the Vatican and miles away next to the Italian embassy in Rome.
Obama is piling the unfair and exorbitant costs of Obamacare onto the middle class again, this time giving a break to his union buddies and heaping the costs onto the rest of us.
As a result of the massive failure of Obamacare, Obama’s Medicaid info chief was brought before Congress for questioning. His testimony is an infuriating example of a man who hasn’t a clue what is going despite that he is supposed to be in charge but spins lie after lie to cover up that fact, anyway.
The latest liberal to lament Obama’s downward spiral is Robert Kuttner, founder of the liberal The American Prospect magazine. Kuttner says that Obamacare is a “colossal mess,” was an “accident waiting to happen,” and that the President has lost both the “narrative” and the politics of the situation.
Reports are coming out saying that Congressional Democrats have about had it with the President’s massive failures and have given him 72 hours to fix Obamacare… or else.
