As a conservative it is easy to look at Washington and find nothing but despair. Socialism is once again on the march with autocratic Democrats and left leaning “Republicans” all seeking to raise taxes, spend more, destroy the integrity of our borders, eviscerate our military, spy on us all, and impose a one-size-fits-all education scheme. In DC, the Democrats are practically indistinguishable from the Republicans. But a bright spot is seen in those states who are rebelling over this top down control by liberalizing gun laws, restricting abortion, and otherwise beginning to look for ways to assert their long dormant powers.
When the founders created this country they imagined that they had practically eliminated the chance for tyranny by creating a governing plan that featured a segmented system. The founders expected each segment to zealously look to protect their rightful powers.
The founders thought that Senators would fight for their states, Congressmen would fight for that segment of voters who elected them, Presidents would guard their own enumerated powers, states would strenuously reject any expansion of federal powers, counties would reject state interference and cities would vigorously enforce their own authority.
There was a time when states’ rights weren’t just some false call used to protect slavery!
Unfortunately, this country lost its once proud obstinacy and everyone began to fall to a socialist-styled assumption that the federal government should control everything from Washington D.C.
It is easy to imagine that the founders would have already started shooting at and/or tar and feathering government officials by now, but the tide of this un-American control from the top is starting to show some signs of collapse. A bloodless revolution seems to be forming.

Guns And Abortion: States Starting to Rebel Against Federal Control”
Witnesses say that at a recent anti-gun forum Democrat Congressman Brad Schneider (10th District, Illinois) strangely reused to stand up and recite the Pledge of Allegiance.
The Clinton Library has released over 7,000 pages of documents from Bill’s presidency, likely hoping that what ever is in them will be “old news” by the time Hillary announces her bid for president. But one of the documents is very interesting and shows that Bill and Hillary really feared and hated the free flow of information on the Internet.

It is possible that Obama’s oppressive, jackbooted thugs are withdrawing from their attack on a Nevada rancher after stealing over 500 of his cattle. Government officials are saying that the situation has become “too dangerous” for its operatives and the situation is spiraling out of the government’s control, so they are quitting their efforts to destroy an American citizen’s livelihood… at least for now.
BLM has been slowly destroying the cattle industry in that area for quite some time and Bundy is the last rancher left. But Bundy refuses to acquiesce to the government’s lies and jackbooted tactics. He and his family have been there for over one hundred years and he refuses to leave.
Once again we get proof that Democrats are criminals, that they think others’ property is theirs for the taking, and that they cannot be trusted with the story that they stole $75,000 worth of TVs after their national convention last year.
Without a doubt Obama’s government is constantly whipping up hatred for anyone who disagrees with the liberal line. So, at 10PM Eastern on Saturday, April 5, Fox is airing FOX News Reporting: Enemies of the State to expound on this anti-free speech crusade being perpetrated by people and entities ranging from President Obama, Senate Democrat leader Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, to the NSA and the IRS and others on the left-wing of the American political sphere.
There aren’t really two major parties in our political system. There are three. Sure there are Democrats–the extreme liberal, Euro-like party–and, yes, there are Republicans. But Republicans are not the conservative party. The GOP is the moderate party. The third party is made of the conservatives and even as they are forced to call themselves Republicans, they have a higher calling than mere party power plays.
In addition to the IRS targeting conservative groups, individuals and their families–and now proposing rules to silence them during elections–and the new
Senator Mark Kirk (RINO, ILL) has always been a 50 percenter with the Republican Party, meaning that he only supports the party he is supposed to belong to around 50 percent of the time. But now, seemingly by his own admission, he’s become a full Democrat with his decision to fight against the GOP nominee for Senate and support the re-election of Democrat Senator Dick Durbin, the single most left-wing promulgator of lies in the U.S. Senate.
By nearly every metric, Democrats are finding that Obamacare is a millstone around their necks for the upcoming 2014 midterm elections. Yet so-called Republican Karl Rove is telling the GOP to stop attacking Obamacare? What is he thinking?
In the first week of March I was in Washington DC at a party at the Breitbart embassy situated among the brownstone buildings just behind the U.S. Supreme Court building and I was talking to the National Review’s John Fund about the Illinois primaries. He asked me if Rauner was going to run away with it and I said that Dillard might surprise people and come much closer than anyone expected. Fund scoffed a bit. Turns out I was right.
As the left runs around like Chicken Littles claiming that the evil Koch brothers are “buying the country,” they ignore the fact that unions have poured many times more money into the system to buy themselves influence than the Kochs ever have or ever will. The left ignores this fact because unions spend all their money on extremely liberal causes and politicians and they don’t care if they have to break the law to do it.
Senator Harry Reid is indulging an absurd habit these days. He’s become a Koch head, a Koch addict, a Koch whore. He just can’t get enough of libertarian campaign donors Charles and David Koch and Reid’s lost his tiny little mind over them blaming them for everything that he thinks is wrong with the country. Naturally, Reid is a liar.

In a recent op ed at the Illinois Review Terri Koyne, the Republican Chairman for Macoupin County, tried to explain the difference between a conservative and a “platform Republican.” I sort of understood her point but found the piece to be a bit muddled not to mention historically limited.
Now businesses will have to go hat in hand to Obama to
Senator Dick Durbin is at it again, lying through his teeth, this time about Obamacare. On Sunday’s Meet The Press, Illinois Democrat Durbin made the wild-eyed claim that ten million Americans found new health insurance thanks to Obamacare. He also claimed that Obamacare would lower the deficit. But even the Washington Post gave its worst rating to Durbin’s lies.
Democrat Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee from Texas thinks it is the job of Congress to write a President’s Executive Orders. Apparently she doesn’t “get” that Obama is in the executive branch (hence the “executive” part of the Executive Orders) and she is in the legislative branch.
Doug Ibendhal over at RepublicanNewsWatch.com has a very interesting observation about Illinois GOP outsider Bruce Rauner’s claim that he stands against “career politicians.” Rauner is actually supporting one of the biggest career politicians in the country quite despite his posturing against that class of public servant.
Remember, liberals–especially effusive Hollywood folk–are smarter, more loving, more grown up that you knuckle dragging conservatives, and they care more about people, too. And if you don’t agree… they’ll fire you with prejudice. Because: tolerance. That is what happened to one actress in Hollywood that dared support a conservative candidate.
