The reason the blog has been so sparsely populated this last week is because I have been in Washington DC since March 2 taking meetings and then attending the 2014 Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC).
Well, I say “attending” but I mean skipping much of it n favor of going to panels held outside the event, meetings in small rooms held by individuals and groups not participating at CPAC.
Oh, and I attended quite a few parties, too, of course.
There was Representative Louie Gohmert’s Party where he celebrated the launch of his new Political Action Committee, ?GOH Conservative PAC There I met Rush Limbaugh’s Bo Snerdley–yes he really exists.
Meet James Golden, aka Bo Snerdley
I also ran into Maryland Congressional candidate Dan Bongino once again. THIS is a great candidate, folks.
When I arrived in D.C. on March 2, the capital was under a blanket of snow.
But by March 8 as I was winding down my visit the snow was mostly gone and the temperatures were in the 50s.
On Friday night, of course, was the blowout Breitbart party. Once again it was epic and I stayed until 2AM–making me realize I am too old for this stuff. There we had a keg of Champaign, a swing band, and even our own hand rolled Breitbart cigars.
Our party was epic. Hundreds of people came from congressional staffers to writers and activists to congressmen. We RULE THE WORLD!
The cigar was courtesy of www.CigarFlavors.com.
On Saturday I attended a meeting with conservative firebrand author Ann Coulter in a VERY small room that soon got to standing room only.
On Saturday I didn’t get much time to attend CPAC itself as I was sent by Breitbart to cover the “Univited II” National Security Action Summit, sponsored by Breitbart News and EMPact America.
