For those of you who would like to order my reproduction of the ID cards seen on the 1960s TV show “The Man From U.N.C.L.E.,” I need to make a few points. And PLEASE read ALL of this page–especially the stuff at the bottom–before you think about ordering.
Here are what Mine look like…

First of all, the MGM prop department did not make these cards to be very sturdy. They were just a quick prop made by the studio printing/prop department and were printed on card stock not much heavier than a business card.
In fact, in “The Deadly Decoy Affair” you can see that the card Napoleon Solo (Robert Vaughn) hands another character is dented and creased showing that it is not a very stiff or sturdy affair.
The card featured a yellow front with an UNCLE logo and the agent’s names punched out on a Dymo label maker tape label that was then affixed to the front of the card. That was all there was to it. The card wasn’t laminated, it wasn’t made of real thick cardboard and it wasn’t plastic, or anything. (Info on the back of the card appears below.)
So, here are the cards as seen on the show…..
CARD ONE
Even though the photo is in black and white, you can see that this one has the agents’ names on red Dymo tape with the tape glued onto the card running through the middle of the globe and angling to the left of the card. The tape ended about 1/4 inch before the edge of the card. Both agents used this card on screen. (Illya’s card is on the left, Solo’s to the right)
CARD TWO
This card was used by Illya and featured his name in red Dymo tape affixed at the center top of the card.
CARD THREE
This one was used by Solo in “The Nowhere Affair.” Notice how the black Dymo tape with his name on it is right in the middle just under the globe.
CARD FOUR
This one Was used by Solo in “The Candidate’s Wife Affair.” Notice that the black Dymo tape with his name on it goes almost to the left edge of the card unlike card number one above which has the red tape ending about 1/4 from the edge of the card.
BACK OF CARD
As to the back of the cards, in “The Deadly Decoy Affair,” in the train scene you can see that there is some printing on the back of the card. Unfortunately, it is too indistinct to see what is really there, so I have decided to use the “section” info as printed on the ID cards the studio sent out to fans in the mail in 1965. I am only assuming that this is what was on the back of the screen-used cards as this is what the studio put on the cards they sent out when fans wrote in to ask for ID cards.
HOW TO BUY
NOTICE: I am no longer making these cards
Now, I will be charging $5 per card as these are all hand made. I use an antique, manual Dymo label maker (not a modern, computer-controlled one) so each name is punched out individually by hand, the same old fashioned way just like the prop department at MGM did it.
Please tell me which card type (version one, two, three or four) you want and which agent’s names you want on the front. Also you can order your own name, but be sure to understand that if you have a very long name it will be hard to fit on the card and won’t quite look like the cards as seen on screen.
Let’s put it this way, if your name is “William Pratt” it will fit better on the card than if your name is “Jonathan Montgomery Christensen, Jr.” if you know what I mean? So, try to keep it as short as possible if you want your own name on the card. Try to use only your first and last name, especially if you have a long name.
SHIPPING
I am going to charge $4 for shipping inside the U.S. if you order three or four cards. For overseas orders we will have to handle that on a case-by-case basis.

If you want a different way to pay, then email me using the address above and we can talk about it. But I am just a guy making some fun cards, NOT a business so I do NOT do credit cards or debit cards.
Please don’t try to order 20 or 50 or 100 cards. These are hand made, hand glued, and hand sprayed with a fixative, so I am not mass producing these. I am also not trying to make a ton of money, here. I have spent quite a bit in supplies and am basically just trying to break even. This IS NOT a money making deal for me.

One would think it would be just the opposite for someone everyone seems to think is about to become President.
Vice President Joe Biden broke one of the left’s most closely held beliefs with his pronouncement on when life begins. But he also showed liberals for their disgusting, anti-human hypocrisy.
Dr. Ben Carson sparked controversy by saying that he doesn’t think Americans should vote for a Muslim to become president of the United States and that Islam is incompatible with the American ethos. Naturally he was called an “Islamopphobe,” but in the end Carson is 100% right. Islam is simply not compatible with the American system of government and our democratic freedoms. After all, Islam is inherently against freedom.
For weeks the Republican establishment was attacking Donald Trump for refusing for a time to pledge that he would not run third party if he should lose the GOP nomination for president. Then he signed the pledge. But now establishment hack Bill Kristol is claiming HE will support a third party candidate if Trump wins the GOP nomination. It is this hypocrisy that shows why the rank and file are sick and tired of the Republican Party and why the GOP needs to be torn down and rebuilt as a real, conservative party.
Democrat candidate for President and self proclaimed socialist Senator from Vermont Bernie Sanders visited a Christian university on Monday and told students that our founders were racists and that the USA is inherently a racist nation.
During a question and answer period at the 2016 Miss America Competition, Hannah Robison, the contestant from Tennessee, seemed to offer in her reply what was more like left-wing propaganda than fact by among other things perpetuating the myth that Planned Parenthood is a big purveyor of mammograms to poor and disadvantaged women. 
It has been 13 years since that horrible day in 2001 when terrorism hit America with a vengeance. But many want to forget and pretend it never happened and we already have a generation of kinds just about to, or soon to enter into their teen years who can’t remember what happened on September 11, 2001. It is up to us to keep the memory of that day alive lest we allow it to be repeated.
Since Barack Obama came to office, his security regime has repeatedly put out reports saying that conservatives, Republicans, patriots, white people, and our military veterans are “dangerous” and need to be watched, quite despite that NONE of these people have caused any troubles. The hack of the membership list of the sex cheater site AshleyMadison.com has set off a series of divorces as husbands and/or wives enter their spouse’s email addresses into the search tool of the exposed database. But these ending marriages isn’t the fault of “hackers,” like CNN claims in its August 21 piece. It is the fault of the cheaters.

On a Facebook fan page for a movie today I saw the one reply that I hate the most. It is a reply that smacks of empty-headed, politically correct idiocy. And if you’ve made replies like this yourself, or you agree with the reply, you need to stop it right now.
One of the key aspects of the new immigration policy that Donald Trump proposed this weekend was to end birthright citizenship, the one rule that has served to create the “anchor baby” phenomenon drawing pregnant mothers to the U.S. from every corner of the world. This would be the right move for any president to make and it would be in keeping with the original intent of the Constitution and its requisite amendments.

Before we get to the film, many younger viewers will be wholly unfamiliar with the source material. The original “Man From U.N.C.L.E.” TV show, staring Robert Vaughn, David McCallum, and Leo G. Carroll, debuted during the 1964 TV season and almost disappeared in a single season were it not for a spectacular PR effort. Not only was that first season in boring black and white, but it barely made a dent in the ratings meaning the show wasn’t even close to a hit during its first run episodes. But due to some brilliant rear guard public relations, during the show’s Summer reruns U.N.C.L.E. grew into a huge hit becoming one of the world’s first appointment television shows with a world-wide fan base that for a short time rivaled that of The Beatles. 
The show that pretty much programmed every spy show since its debut featured a suave, super cool American spy with the unforgettable name of Napoleon Solo (played by veteran actor Robert Vaughn). The imperturbable Solo used his brains as much as he used his brawn to solve his spy assignments. In fact, his brawn was often not much to write home about as he was knocked to the ground and tied up by the bad guys as often as he bested them in fisticuffs. 
His partner, Russian super spy Illya Nickovitch Kuryakin (David McCallum, a bit of a newcomer to American audiences) was an interesting, enigmatic, sarcastic man of action who offered as much sex appeal for the ladies as he revealed embarrassment over that very appeal. Many NBC executives initially thought that the character, with his mop of blond hair and youth appeal, was a bad idea. They thought that this Russian hippy should have been gotten rid of. Some even worried that viewers would think he was gay and we can’t have gays on TV in 1964! In fact, the Illya character was initially only cast as a semi-regular character but once fans saw the chemistry between Napoleon and his pal Illya, they couldn’t get enough and Illya’s role was bumped up to co-star. Illya’s past was a bit cryptic and he was certainly never called a Soviet. The closest viewers got to learning about Illya’s personal past was when we learned that he went to the University of Georgia… not the one in the southern state but the Russian one!
Acting as the guiding hand over this pair of super agents was their boss, Alexander Waverly, leader of U.N.C.L.E. Waverly was played by veteran actor Leo G. Carroll who brought a grandfatherly, legitimizing presence to the series.
