Ed Schultz Now Claiming that He ‘Coached’ VP Biden on Ignorant Debate Style

After the vice presidential debates, MSNBC’s Ed Schultz proved once again why he is the clown prince of the whole MSNBC circus by taking credit for Joe Biden’s smirking, arm waving, belly laughing, constantly interrupting style of “debating” at the October 11 event in Kentucky.

On October 13, During his little-heard radio show, Schultz somehow was arrogant enough to assume that the Vice President of the United States programs his entire political personae by taking cues from none other than the Edster himself.

Ed doesn’t think too much of himself at all, does he?

In his typically bellicose and substance free style, Schultz took an insult issued by GOP Chairman Reince Priebus as some sort of validation of his own loudmouthed, blather.

Obama and That ‘Act of Terror’

The video juxtaposes Obama’s claim in the debate against multiple televised statements by White House and Administration officials in subsequent days. It clearly shows that while the president now claims his Rose Garden speech called the Benghazi attack an “act of terror,” neither the White House press office nor Administration officials viewed that speech as an affirmation of terrorism in Benghazi.

White House Press Secretary Jay Carney and U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice repeatedly referred to the “video” as cause of the attack in subsequent administration statements – with Carney specifically affirming that the White House HAD NOT called the Benghazi attack “terrorism” on September 20.

The Rice and Carney statements unambiguously show that Obama’s claim is misleading.

Walsh Supporters Protest Outside Duckworth’s Office

On October 17, about 30 some supporters of incumbent Congressman Joe Walsh gathered outside Democrat opponent Tammy Duckworth’s suburban campaign office to protest what they say is her outright lies about her part in the firing of a pair of whistleblowers when she headed the Illinois Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA).

Duckworth essentially caused this controversy herself during the October 9 debate. At the debate, Walsh quizzed Duckworth about her time at the DVA, a tenure that included 12 violations from the Inspector General and charges of the illegal use of a government vehicle.

Walsh also confronted Duckworth on the lawsuit filed against her by several fired DVA employees who have charged the former Army Major with wrongful termination and public humiliation.

As Walsh explains the case, “the Plaintiff filed a complaint against a supervisor for allowing political campaigning on VA property. Duckworth received the complaint and subsequently terminated the employee who made the complaint and allegedly instructed the other Plaintiff to “keep her mouth shut” and she could keep job.”

During the debate, Duckworth flat out denied she is currently being sued.

Debate Moderator Crowley Lies About Obama’s Benghazi/Terrorism Lies

CNN’s Candy Crowley, the so-called moderator of the second presidential debate for the 2012 elections, misled 60 million viewing Americans in the debate when she wrongfully sided with Obama against Mitt Romney when Romney maintained that Obama refused to call the attacks on our Libyan embassy an act of terror in his Rose Garden address on the incident the day after it occurred.

During the section on Obama’s abject failures on foreign policy, Romney was making the point that Obama took many days before he finally started calling the attacks on our Benghazi embassy an act of terror. But as he was making this point, buttinski Crowley sided with Obama telling Romney he was wrong.

Biden Lies Saying Planned Parenthood Can’t Legally Perform Abortions

Vice President Joe Biden has done it again, unleashed an outright lie on the campaign trail. This time Joe told an audience at the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse that the abortion provider Planned Parenthood was prevented by law to perform abortions. And yet, Planned Parenthood itself has claimed it committed 985,731 abortions in just the last three years alone.

In front of that crowd, Biden said, “And now these guys pledge that they are going to defund Planned Parenthood, which under law cannot perform any abortion” The fact is, though, Biden simply lied (again).

There is no law at all that prevents Planned Parenthood from committing abortions whenever and whereever it likes.

Now, there is a law that prevents PP from using any of the 66 million dollars a year in federal tax money that Democrat politicians hand over to it, granted. The law states that the federal subsidies cannot be used for abortions.

Another Non-Partisan CNN Employee

Occasionally it is interesting to check out the Twitter feeds of employees of the Old Media establishment to see what sort of things they like to banter about on social media. Invariably, it seems, when we do this we find that the member of the media in question isn’t as non-partisan as they pretend to be in their work. Such is the case with Larry Shaughnessy, a producer at CNN’s Washington bureau covering the Dept. of Defense and Veterans Affairs.

A look over Mr. Shaughnessy’s recent Tweets reveals a man that hates Mitt Romney, hates former Sec. of Defense Donald Rumsfeld, and loves him some Obama.

Worse, for a man whose job is to report on veterans, he also slammed famed military school, the Virginia Military Institute (VMI), as just a bunch of kids “playing dress up.” No respect at all for these young people, most of whom go on to serve our country.

Of VMI, Shaughnessy said, “VMI ain’t a military instution [sic]. Its a school where the kids play dress up. They are no more required to serve than Yale grads”

Evan Sayet: Being a Liberal Means Not Having to Think

Conservative comedian Evan Sayet has a new book out titled, The Kindergarten of Eden: How the Modern Liberal Thinks and why He’s Convinced that Ignorance is Bliss.

In his book, Sayet explains that liberalism is a “retarded” way of thinking. In fact, he says it isn’t thinking at all. To be a liberal means you just don’t have to think, he maintains. Modern liberalism is built on the mentality of a five-year-old child.

Sayet recently appeared on a videocast with the MRC’s Dan Joseph to talk about his new book.

Politico Hires Name-Calling Journo Fired From Yahoo!

In the world of journalism, no bad deed goes unrewarded. Take the case of former Washington bureau chief for Yahoo! News, David Chalian. You may recall that he was fired after he was heard saying during the Republican National Convention that Republicans were “happy to have a party with black people drowning.” He may have been fired from Yahoo! for this ignorant statement, but now he’s been hired by Politico.

You’ll recall that the Republican convention started in the midst of a full-blown hurricane, a storm some feared would again swamp New Orleans. Of curse the Old Media was filled with reminiscences of Hurricane Katrina and worries for New Orleans’ minorities was again everywhere. Speculation that the GOP would cancel its convention was also ubiquitous.

The GOP did postpone its opening day, but decided not to cancel the whole show and this caused some left-wing tongues in the Old Media to start wagging that Republicans were obviously racist. Cue David Chalian who was heard on an open mic perpetrating that very calumny.

On August 28, while in an ABC control room, Chalian unleashed his hateful charge, saying: “They’re not concerned at all. They are happy to have a party with black people drowning.”

Wash Post Reporter: Ryan is an SVU Perp of the Week

Washington Post reporter Dan Zak saw a different vice presidential debate than nearly everyone else in the Old Media establishment. Zak saw the debate where Joe Biden was brilliant, Martha Raddatz was fair, and Paul Ryan was like “the perp-of-the-week” on an episode of TVs Law and Order: SVU. That is exactly what he said on Twitter as he watched the debates.

Zak must have thought he was brilliant with this Twitter observation: “35 min in, Biden is Det. Olivia Benson and Ryan is the perp-of-the-week. #SpecialVeepsUnit,” he tweeted.

If you aren’t familiar with the TV show, each week it features yet another sex criminal “perp” that has attacked a little child, raped a woman, or murdered someone. The show is one long cavalcade of sickos, weirdos, and creeps chased by cops that imagine they are above the law employing the sort of shoddy police work that would lead them to be either fired or put in prison themselves.

That wasn’t all Zak had to say about GOP VP nominee Paul Ryan. He also characterized him as a child, Tweeting, “My #VPdebate review coming soon: ‘A man debated a boy Thursday night on national television, and both were ultimately schooled by a woman.’”

CNN’s Soledad O’Brien Raves for Biden/Raddatz Tag Teaming Ryan

Whereas most people in the middle and the right saw Biden as a snorting, chortling, constantly interrupting blowhard and “moderator” Martha Raddatz as Biden’s willing assistant during Thursday’s vice presidential debate, CNN’s Soledad O’Brien and Dana Bash saw “perfect pitch” and a “terrific” performance by the left-wing tag team.

On Friday morning’s Starting Point, CNN’s O’Brien and correspondent Dana Bash were all a twitter over Biden and Raddatz’ work at the debate.

Right out of the gate, O’Brien gushed about Raddatz saying, “I thought she was terrific.”

Bash agreed saying, “Absolutely. If there was a winner because it was a draw between the two candidates, Martha Raddatz. She was commanding. She followed up when she need to. She pressed them on specifics.”

Raddatz’ performance was “perfect pitch,” Bash added.

Bash went on to express total simpatico with Biden’s childish debate performance.

Student Speaks Out Against Harvard’s ‘Incest-Fest’ Party

It has been said that the students and faculty of Harvard University are America’s “best and brightest.” This month they prove this axiom to be mythological as they once again launch their annual “incest-fest” party where residents of the famed Kirkland House spend the day trying to have sex with as many house members as they can. Winners get a hearty handshake of acknowledgement and perhaps some STDS for their “success.”

Harvard’s denizens inventively call this debauched exercise the “incest-fest” because it is held in the Kirkland House among its residents. You see, the residents are living in the same house, so they are like a family. So, if they start having sex with each other it’s like “incest.” Hilarious, no?

This “event” has been going on for some time, of course, and Harvard authorities never say word one about it. Like most university faculties, Harvard long ago decided to let the inmates run the asylum (literally in this case) and have given up even a pretext of attempting to impose order and standards on their campuses.

But one student isn’t so taken by all that wonderful “self expression” going on at Kirkland House.

Another Democrat Slams Bloggers

Ron Hewitt ran for the Lee County School Board back in 2002. He ran as a progressive liberal but claimed fiscally conservative ideas. He won but quit not long after to pursue his own business interests outside the state of North Carolina. The assessment of his tenure was that he offered promise and delivered on nothing.

Now he’s back claiming to be an “independent” and running for a spot on the Lee County Board of Commissioners. He also appears to fear bloggers.

In the Sunday Herald on October 14, Hewett published the following ad…

Now the blogger that Mr. Hewett is so afraid of is Sheila Barber of Fresh Brewed Conservatism.

Sheila points out that Mr. Hewett isn’t even in office yet and he’s attempting to intimidate, discount, and ridicule a private citizen.

Can you trust someone who basically is trying to shut up the voice of a citizen before he’s even elected? What exactly will he do IF HE IS ELECTED? Don’t we get enough of trampling on our free speech from the Obama Administration?

She goes on to note that, “The last thing Lee County needs is someone who thinks the citizen’s voice is a blight to society! We are tired of being treated like 2nd class citizens. Mr. Hewett just did this.”

Not a good way to make a political comeback, is it, Mr. Hewett?

National Journal Gets Romney Cap Gains Cut Wrong

On October 10, the National Journal slammed Mitt Romney for “favoring the wealthy” with his capital gains tax cut plan. The plan, NJ claims, won’t help middle-income Americans because they “don’t have investment income.” But, apparently Nat’l Journal didn’t bother to look at Romney’s actual plan because their assessment is simply wrong.

Reporting on a Romney rally in Ohio, Nat’l Journal claimed that Romney’s tax plan is one-sided.

But Romney’s proposal as he described it — eliminating tax on interest, dividends, and capital gains — would largely help those living on investment income, which does not include many people in the middle class. The tax break would likely help senior citizens, however, many of whom do live on investment income.

…The wealthy are the major beneficiaries of low taxes on capital gains, dividends, and interest; many middle-income Americans don’t have investment income.

Apparently Nat’l Journal isn’t big on doing its research. The fact is, Romney isn’t proposing lowering capital gains taxes on “the rich.”

CNN Joins Attack-The-Rich Bandwagon

CNN has an interesting story of an immigrant that came to this country from the oppressive socialist nation in which he was born, worked hard to attain the American dream, became wealthy, and dearly wishes for his fellow Americans to avoid the pitfalls of socialism. But instead of celebrating this man’s great success, CNN slams him as “Rich, Worried and Buying Ad Time.”

Thomas Peterffy was born under Soviet oppression in Budapest in 1944. At 21 years of age, Peterffy left his native country and came to America to try and make his way in life.

“As a young boy, I was fantasizing about one day going to America, making a success of myself. The American Dream,” Peterffy told CNN.

He succeeded beyond his wildest dreams in this land of opportunity. In fact, Peterffy succeeded far beyond what he ever could have achieved in the communist country of his birth. Should he have stayed in that oppressed land he could never have become the billionaire he became in the U.S.

‘Slop’: NBC’s Chuck Todd Not A Fan of all These Close Polls

Chuck Todd, NBC’s political correspondent, is not a big fan of all these new polls showing Romney and Obama to be so close. He’s especially down on Scott Rasmussen who has said that he’s been seeing a close race all along, a result that Todd called “slop.”

Amusingly, during his CNBC Squawkbox appearance back on October 3, Todd seemed to imagine that “spending money” equates to good polling. Several times he adamantly repeated that he and his cohorts at NBC spent a lot of money or spend more money than Rasmussen does on polling. Can you just buy good polling, Mr. Todd?

This week Mr. Rasmussen had a chance to respond to Todd’s taunt on Fox News with host Megyn Kelly.

Why does anyone imagine that “the rich” don’t “pay their fair share” of federal taxes in the U.S.? Stephen Moore, sure doesn’t and he proves it in his new book, Who’s The Fairest of Them All: The Truth about Opportunity, Taxes and Wealth in America.

While doing research for his book, for instance, Moore discovered that a mere 10 percent of Americans pay nearly half the federal taxes in this country.

With this fact at hand, Moore elaborated further in a recent interview saying that there is “no case on economic grounds” to vote for President Barack Obama, a candidate whose main “solution” to our economic woes is to raise taxes only on the wealthy.

Benedict Arlen Spector, Dead at 82

Well, I don’t have anything nice to say about one-time Senator Arlen Specter of Pennsylvania. He was a terrible RINO, never did the GOP much good, and ultimately ended up acting the traitor by jumping parties to become a Democrat at the end of his career. He’s dead at 82.

I have to admit that the sole reason I am even posting about it is so that one last time I can use the above photoshop image I made. That is all he was worth to me, anyway.

NYTimes: Libya Attack Discussion is the Republican’s Fault?

Surprising to no one, The New York Times agrees with the absurd spin from team Obama that the only reason anyone is talking about the Obama administration’s week worth of lies about the attacks on our embassy in Libya — attacks that resulted in the deaths of four Americans, one of them our own ambassador — is because the Republicans keep bringing it all up in the national discussion.

The Times has decided to ignore the recent hearings about what the Obama administration knew and when it knew it. There’s just no “news” to it, the paper’s editors say. “It’s three weeks before the election and it’s a politicized thing, but if they had made significant news, we would have put it on the front [page],” said Times managing editor, Dean Baquet.

Ill. Dem. Claims a Woman Died From no Healthcare, Turns Out Patient Doesn’t Even Exist

Democrat David Gill is having a few problems in his race for the 13th Congressional District in Illinois. Not only did he think he got his nomination on “a cold March day” (it just happened to have been in the 80s that March) but he’s seemingly invented a fake woman who “died” of “heart attack” because of those rascally Republicans.

David Gill seems to be an epic storyteller, for sure. Like Grimm’s fairytales, or something.

Aside from his aforementioned meteorological fairytale, Gill also tells fantastic tales abut his days as a doctor. Gill launched an ad that he felt would skewer those mean Republicans that want to take away everyone’s healthcare. In his ad he claimed to have found a woman named “Susan” who had a heart attack because she “didn’t have health insurance.”

Now, this “Susan” isn’t just the mere subject of a TV ad. Gill, a doctor in his regular life, claimed to have been this “Susan’s” doctor. He claims right in his ad that he tried to save her life and couldn’t.

Undecideds Not Budged By Smirking Joe Biden’s Debate Performance

Joe Biden did not help team Obama tonight, folks.

I am seeing a few conservatives wringing their hands that Paul Ryan “missed opportunities.” Maybe so, but since he was interrupted a full 83 times (yes it has been counted) it’s no wonder that he didn’t get all his valid points in.

With smirking Joe Biden and jolting Martha Raddatz both teaming up to interrupt every single reply Ryan tried to give, it is certain that his points got lost in some instances.

In fact, Joe was such a jerk that it is sure he only appealed to the radical, left-wing base that Obama has been slowly losing this month. Apparently Joe’s job was to shore up the base and not bother with undecideds. This is a bad sign for team Obama. If he is still trying to appeal to the base with only weeks to go before election day… well, let’s just say it’s a bad, bad sign.

But the final assessment of the VP debate will be that Ryan won on points. He seemed knowledgeable, even tempered, and nice. Biden will be loved by his base for being an asshole with his smirking, arm waving, interrupting, sputtering, scoffing, and laughing (Al Gore in 2000, anyone?) but independents, moderates and undecided voters will wonder why Biden was such an asshole.

All in all, Ryan did fine and didn’t hurt himself and Biden did NOT help team Obama with undecideds.

Here is one undecided from CNN…

And polls on CNN after the night was said and done showed Ryan with a slight lead in all categories with CNN’s viewers. Within the margin of error, often, but it still shows that Biden did not help Obama with the very group that he needs to win.

Did Steven Spielberg Say the GOP is Just Like the Slave Holding South?

As he unveiled his epic new movie based on Abraham Lincoln’s civil war era presidency, Steven Spielberg said he doesn’t want his film to become a “political football” in today’s presidential election. But as he talked about it further, it seemed as if he went on to say that today’s Republican party is somehow just like the slave-holding Democrats of the antebellum south.

That’s right, Spielberg implied that today’s Republicans are just like the old south’s racist Confederates.

These comments were delivered during a Q & A at the New York Film Festival on Monday, October 8, after he debuted his new film starring Daniel Day Lewis as Lincoln, Sally Field as Mary Todd Lincoln, and Tommy Lee Jones as Pennsylvania Congressman Thaddeus Stevens, a zealous anti-slavery activist.

Mike Fleming reports that Spielberg delayed the release of his film until just after the election in order to keep his work out of the current presidential election.

“I just said, please don’t release this until the election is over. I didn’t want it to be this political football going back and forth,” Fleming reports Spielberg as saying.

Of course, it is admirable that director Spielberg wants to make sure that a film based on history is not abused as a “political football” in today’s political contest. Unfortunately, Spielberg, a big Obama supporter, went on himself to use history to make modern political points.

After pronouncing his disdain for abusing history for political points, he did just that, saying:

Illinois’ Quinn Gets ‘F’ in U.S. Governors Fiscal Report Card

Illinois ranks at the bottom of the nation in nearly every single category of rankings of successful states and now the Land of Lincoln can rack up yet another great failure. Illinois’ Governor, Pat Quinn, has received the grade of “F” in a new “fiscal report card” of the 50 states’ fiscal health.

Congratulations once again, Illinois. Your almost unbroken record of failure goes practically unchallenged. You are pretty much the worst of the worst in all of the country.

Oh, happy days.

So, once again Illinois rates at the bottom of the pile with a governor that gets a well-deserved failing grade. This time joined Quinn is joined at the bottom by four other guvs. Chris Gregoire (Washington State), Neil Abercrombie (Hawaii), Mark Dayton (Minnesota), and Dan Malloy (Connecticut), each received the grade of “F” for their monumental failure as their state’s chief executive.

Obama Campaign Helps Voter Vote in Two Different States

Guerilla videographer James O’Keefe of Project Veritas unleashed a damaging new expose of an Obama campaign staffer helping a voter sign up to vote for president in two different states today.

This staffer knowingly helped O’Keefe’s undercover operative attempt to sign up to vote in two different states.

Watchdog.org has a great piece on this, too.

O’Keefe’s cameras didn’t just catch one Obama operative knowingly assisting in vote fraud, either.

Along with the story of Obama’s campaign website being purposefully set up to accept illegal foreign campaign donations, this all just proves that Democrats simply don’t care about the rule of law. All laws are to be ignored, violated, and outright broken if it helps get Democrats elected.
