Dan Bongino is a former Secret Service Agent form Maryland who has a warning for the country: we are in more danger now than ever thanks to the failed Obama administration.
Bongino is running for Congress in Maryland’s 6th District (Dan Bongino’s campaign website) and appeared on Glenn Beck’s TV show on December 5 to talk about his race and the state of the country when he warned that the nation is going down the wrong path.
One of Mr. Bongino’s guiding principals is to base all his ideas for governing on whether or not those ideas are constitutional in the first place. That is the sort of novel thinking we need in Congress, don’t you think?

But Bongino is sour on the growing police state in which we live and is ready to pare back the powers of the department of Homeland Security, the CIA and the NSA–or at least apply constitutional limits to their powers.

This month, our country is remembering two famous Americans, Abraham Lincoln and John F. Kennedy. On November 19, 1863, Abraham Lincoln delivered his short (about 3 minutes) but inspiring speech at the dedication of the soldier’s cemetery in Gettysburg. November 22 marks the date when an assassin’s bullet ended the life of President Kennedy in Dallas, Texas exactly 50 years ago. Our current president has often sought to align or identify himself with either president at one time or another hoping that by association, some of their popularity might transfer to him. President Obama has characteristically had a way of inserting himself into every subject of historical note as the government’s historical website can attest to. The account of American’s remarkable achievements have been recently updated to reflect the current administration’s “contributions” to this country’s progress.

Let this be a warning to all arrogant politicians who think they don’t have to listen to their constituents. There are a few facts about the current political climate that are 100 percent beyond question. One is that the GOP establishment hates Tea Partiers and conservatives far more than they hate Democrats. Secondly, if there is amnesty for illegals, the GOP will become a permanent minority party. So, if amnesty arrives perhaps we have the opportunity to eliminate moderate Republicans and remake the GOP as a truly conservative party for the first time in history?
On one hand Obama has spent four years lying outright to the American public telling them that they could keep their healthcare insurance and their doctors if they liked them. But now that the extent of his lie has become so obvious, we are looking back at past statements proving that on the other hand Obama knew all along that he was lying. In a recent interview, Representative Tom Cole (R, OK) tried to take the “reasonable” stance by claiming that President Obama deserves credit for “reform,” but wouldn’t go so far as to say the tea party was like McCarthyism. He also said he’s open to tax hikes.
Senator Ted Cruz (R, TX) has not backed off from his drive to destroy the President’s disastrous take over of our healthcare system with his Obamacare scheme and this weekend he was in Iowa bucking up the troops and urging a “grassroots army” to rise up and dismantle Obamacare.
The Old Media establishment hates all Republicans, certainly, but they tolerate liberal Republicans because those sorts of Republicans don’t rock the boat and are quite happy taking the scraps from the Democrats’ table. So, the media always does its best to promote liberal Republicans and will use them as a foil to destroy conservatives–the latter of whom they truly despise. Politico recently had a perfect example of this Old Media strategy.
If you want an example of the hypocrisy of the left-wing media, there can be no better example than the sudden, new love that Mother Jones magazine has for a Republican that ten years ago they called a disgusting, hatemongering, racist, throw back to the civil war. Why do they love him? Because he’ll attack Senator Ted Cruz.

Huffington Post has a pretty dishonest post about some off color anti-Hillary Clinton buttons that were being sold at the California Republican convention this month. The button is being called “disgusting” by HuffyPost, but also seems to blame the state party for them being made. This is just dishonest.
Meghan McCain is about to start a new “reality” TV show called Raising McCain soon to debut on the new Pivot cable TV channel. But true to her past five-years of public life, she can’t help taking jabs at Republicans and conservatives as she does it.
