Last week Fox News’s Megyn Kelly told her audience that Santa was a white guy and people should just get over it. By Saturday, NBC’s SNL had a message for America from “Santa Klaus”: “You’ve heard of secret Santa, well here’s a secret: I’m black as hell.”
During SNL’s Weekend Update segment, troupe member Kenan Thompson starred as a black Santa Klaus that riffed on some well-worn and prosaic themes. But even with the same ‘ol, same ‘ol racism topics, the segment did have a few funny lines.

When Weekend Update’s faux anchor Cecily Strong asked Thompson’s “Santa” if he was OK with people thinking that he was really white, Thompson said, “Well, a white guys taking credit for something a black guy did? I’m more used to it than okay with it.”

The clan leader of the Robertson family on A&E’s Duck Dynasty has a stance on gun control and, like always, the left won’t like it. He says that we don’t need gun control. We need “sin control.”
For a little palette cleanser for today comes this amusing little clip from ABC. It’s a promo for the upcoming remake of Alice in Wonderland played during this week’s episode of Once Upon a Time that accidentally gave a character of the show a “magic crotch.”

Hugo Schwyzer, a Pasadena City College professor who made a name for himself as a “male feminist,” went on a tear on Twitter admitting that he has no qualifications to be a teacher, that he’s had affairs an his wife with a 23-year-old woman, that he involved himself in inappropriate Internet exchanges à la Anthony Weiner and that he is a “p*ss poor feminist.”
The ongoing revelations of the intimidation of conservatives executed by Obama’s IRS and FEC agencies are still coming to light but an interesting wrinkle to the story is the close relationship between CNN and NBC/MSNBC and those inside the administration perpetrating that intimidation.
Many on the far left continue to claim that America needs to have “a discussion” on race–even though we’ve been talking about it since roughly 1787. But one black comedian, W. Kamau Bell, apparently doesn’t want to have that discussion. He says all whites are racist, that is that, and they shouldn’t be allowed to talk about what’s racist and what isn’t.
A new ad slamming Obamacare will air during NBC’s long-running comedy sketch show Saturday Night Live, says YG Network, a conservative advocacy group.
In a June 24 report for NBC’s Rock Center, video for a story was deceptively edited and misleading voice overs added to quotes from an Hasidic Rabbi that made it seem as if the Rabbi was insisting that allegations of sex abuse should only be handled internally, within the community, and should not be taken to police. But in fact Rabbi Avraham Berkowitz did not say that at all.

Mr. Mignogna is the driving force behind the show and wears multiple hats behind the scenes. But on the screen Mignogna does a very nice rendition of Shatner’s Captain Kirk without devolving into parody. Mignogna evokes some of Shatner’s mannerisms just subtly enough that you feel comfortable identifying him as “Captain Kirk.” (Though I feel he might be a tad too short in reality. But that is easily ignored)
One of the earliest reporters revealing the internal emails about Benghazi exchanged between the U.S. Department of State and the intel community was CBS’ Sharyl Attkisson. Her original report was based on “written notes” and, as she said from the beginning, was not derived directly from the emails themselves. Despite this disclaimer, some called her reckless for her reporting. But in the end her reports are still quite close to the actual emails and shows she did not get the story wrong.
