The clan leader of the Robertson family on A&E’s Duck Dynasty has a stance on gun control and, like always, the left won’t like it. He says that we don’t need gun control. We need “sin control.”
He has said this before, of course, but his latest utterance was in an interview with Men’s Journal.
“It ain’t gun control we need, it’s sin control,” Si Robertson told the magazine.
Si also opened up about his past use of mind-altering substances, including alcohol.
“I kept a fifth of whiskey in my pocket everywhere I went,” Robertson said. “I tried dope one time, okay, like marijuana, but why would you smoke something that makes you feel 100 years old? So, drugs wasn’t it for me. In my mind, it was alcohol and whoring around.”
But Robertson was afraid to be made an icon.
“Look, I worry that people put us on a pedestal now,” Robertson told Men’s Journal. “We’re human beings. We make mistakes just like everybody else.”
The Robertsons have a history of supporting the NRA and the Second Amendment.
