POLICE STATE: St. Louis Man Arrested for Video Taping at Public Train Station

A St. Louis man was arrested by police at the end of October merely for video taping at an outdoor, taxpayer-funded MetroLink transit train platform.
The man, one Kenneth Suitter, was commuting home on October 31 and was using his cell phone to record his travel for personal use when he was confronted by a MetroLink rent-a-cop who told him he had to stop recording.
As the security man told Suitter in his best, erudite manner, if he continued to record on MetroLink property, “I will have to ax you to leave, sir.”
When Suitter told the security guard that he had no right to tell him to stop recording, the guard called the real police to confront the commuter.
Before he was able to leave on a train, police came and began to force Mr. Suitter to leave the train station telling him it was against MetroLink’s policy to allow video recording.

Could Obamacare Just be a Giant Democrat Voter Registration Scheme?

Obamacare may just be the biggest, boldest scheme by Democrats to register millions of new Democrat voters, analysts say.
There is one thing many Americans don’t know about Obamacare. Within the procedure of implementation of the Affordable Care Act, otherwise known as Obamacare, billions of tax dollars are being given to left-wing groups to “help” people learn how to sign up for Obamacare. But, worse, those same groups are permitted to register people to vote Democrat.
These left-wing groups–called Obamacare “navigators”–are comprised of left over remnants of the now partially defunct group ACORN, other left-wing community groups, and union operatives, Democrat hacks all.
As part of their duties of “helping” people sign up for Obamacare, these “navigators” are also authorized to register people to vote over the phone and via the Internet. We’ll give you one guess as to which party they will push people to sign up for. Yeah. Democrat.
As former New York Lt. Gov. Betsy McCaughey pointed out in a recent commentary, these left-wing activists turned Obamacare “navigators” are not restricted from pressuring people to register as Democrats. She said that these so-called navigators “can say and do things that government employees can’t, such as urging people to register as Democrats.”

SHOCKING VIDEO: Woman Bares Breasts to Protest Airport TSA Check

We are all used to it by now. Taking off shoes, belts, emptying our pockets, tearing apart our laptop cases, submitting to x-ray scans, all just to get on an airplane in the USA. Well these women have had enough and in protest to the invasive security checks one took off everything and bared her breasts to the TSA.
What is seen on the video–and I can’t seem to find out where it was taken–is three women, all of whom seem to know each other, going through the regular procedure of taking off shoes, belts and the like.

Humanities Classes Falling Out of Favor is Higher Education’s Own Fault

In The New York Times Tamar Lewin laments the slow death of the humanities in our system of higher learning. She notes that the humanities are going by the wayside with fewer students signing up for such courses every year. But Lewin gets the reason completely wrong. She blames the recession but in fact it is the fault of our system of higher learning, not economics.
In her third paragraph, Lewin puts the locus of the blame for the slow death of the field of humanities on the economy. She claims that “the recession” has “helped turn college, in the popular view, into largely a tool for job preparation.” Administrators from coast to coast, Lewin says, are concerned about this falling interest among students.
“The future of the humanities has been a hot topic this year, both in academia and the high-culture media,” Lewin writes. “Some commentators sounded the alarm based on federal data showing that nationally, the percentage of humanities majors hovers around 7 percent — half the 14 percent share in 1970.”
The American Academy of Arts and Sciences also issued a report warning that as the emphasis on science and technology grows in our universities, funding for the humanities could suffer.

Obama In Straightjacket Costume Gets Employees ‘Sensitivity Training’

No one shall make fun of emperor Obama! So says a Kentucky hospital that forced all its employees into so-called “sensitivity training” after three employees entered the company Halloween costume contest dressed as Obama in a straightjacket being escorted by two policemen.
After the costume party, the bosses at Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville, Kentucky decided they weren’t amused when a small handful of employees complained about the costume contest entry. Not many must have been offended, though, because the costume won third place in the competition.
After the party was over the “prize” was handed out by hospital administrators: all 750 employees had to take “sensitivity training.”

The Newest Strike in Obama’s War on Journalists

Some of you may recall back in May when it was discovered that President Obama had seized the phone records of over a hundred Associated Press reporters without conferring with the AP before he did so. This was only one small example of Obama’s war on the media, of course as there have been many such incursions into the curbing of freedom of the press. This month we got yet another one.
Obama’s AP phone record heist was a big deal earlier in the year and had journalists all over the place screaming about losing their freedoms. But, because nearly every member of the press is a slobbering Obamaite, they soon forgot all about their savior’s un-American actions.
But this wasn’t the only time Obama has shown his utter contempt for Press, the very people that got him to office by giving him 100% favorable coverage for both runs for the White House.
A recent article in The Washington Post by Leonard Downie, who is currently the Weil family professor of journalism at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism at Arizona State University, was stark in its assessment of how badly this president treats his lapdogs.

Wait, Now White House Admitting We CAN’T Keep Our Insurance?

For years we’ve heard President Obama saying that with his Obamacare plan we could “keep our insurance” and we could “keep our doctor” if we like them. This, of course turned out to be a blatant lie and over the last few days one Democrat after another paraded in front of TV cameras to insist that Obama didn’t lie. But now, all of a sudden, the White House is agreeing that we won’t be able to keep our insurance.
As seen in the video above, on Wednesday, October 30, White House spokesman Jay Carney actually admitted it: we can’t keep our insurance.
Of course, Carney floated a new lie to distract from the fact that Obama has been lying to us for years. He said that all the new insurance plans are “better.”
But here is the thing… if poor and lower middle class people couldn’t afford insurance before, they sure as heck can’t afford it now that it is more expensive. Worse, the new insurance plans have thousands of dollars in deductibles and this makes the “new” insurance worse than useless. After all, if they can’t afford the yearly premiums, how can they also afford higher premiums on top of thousands a year in payments they’ll have to make to doctors before their insurance will even kick in?

This is devastating. New York Magazine compiled a video showing the many times that President Obama lied directly to the American people and said that with his Obamacare scheme we all could keep our insurance policies and doctors if we like them. This, of course, was a bald-faced lie and this video shows that Obama uttered this lie dozens of times over the last few years.
As the left-wing magazine notes, “Obama did knowingly make an overly simplistic guarantee to the American people that Obamacare wouldn’t affect their current plans. And as this video compilation shows, he made this guarantee over and over again.”
Earlier I reported on how Fox News’ Megyn Kelly slammed Democrat strategist Mark Hannah for trying to pretend that Obama didn’t really lie. But the truth is he lied. Period.
But, you know things are getting bad for emperor Obama when even his kept media is pointing out his lies and New York Magazine isn’t the only one. Even NSNBC took after the President for his obvious lies.

Note From a Young Doctor: Dear Obama, Obamacare is Making Me Quit Medicine

For those who haven’t thought about this, Obamacare will damage our national healthcare system in yet another way: doctor shortages. Now, with an open letter to the nation, one promising, young doctor who graduated at the top of his class is showing us exactly why Obamacare will destroy medicine.
If doctors become employees of the state–as will necessarily happen with Obama’s take over of our national healthcare system–this will mean that doctors are no longer their own person. They will be fully controlled by an all powerful state. This will not only mean that the field of medicine will no longer be a lucrative field for ambitious people to enter, but it will mean that doctors will earn less and less money. This also means that fewer people will want to bother training for 7 to 10 years or more to even BE a doctor and we’ll have massive shortages of doctors across the country.
Further, we’ll have fewer doctors most especially in rural areas outside the richer parts of big cities, too. So, Obamacare will adversely harm the healthcare services to poor, rural communities.

Sen. McCain Slams Republicans Comes to Aid of Extremist Democrat Durbin

Folks, here is just another example of why Senator John McCain is a traitor to the Republican Party. On October 28, McCain came to the support of Democrat Dick Durbin, one of the worst, most partisan hacks for leftism in the Senate.
Last week Durbin promulgated the outright lie that Republican House members insulted President Obama to his face in a meeting at the White House. Durbin not only pushed the lie he sent out fundraising letters using the lie as its chief message.
Durbin told the nation that Republicans said to Obama’s face that they “cannot stand to even look at him.” This was a lie. It never happened and even the White House agreed that it never happened.
Almost immediately Durbin was informed that he was pushing a lie. But he did not back down. In fact, he sent out fundraising emails built on the lie.

CBS Proves Hillary Deliberately Lied About Benghazi

During the weekend’s broadcast of 60 Minutes, CBS’ Lara Logan interviewed the British-born security chief that was on the ground during the attacks at our facilities in Benghazi, Libya in 2012, attacks that ended up killing four embassy employees one of whom was our ambassador to Libya, Chris Stevens. During that interview we find out that Hillary delivered to the nation a series of deliberate, bald-faced lies about what she knew of the attacks.
Granted the 60 Minutes report did not mention the name Hillary Clinton–who was Secretary of State during the attacks–nor did it explicitly say that she deliberately lied to the nation in the aftermath of the attacks. But during the report we find out that Washington knew, even before it was happening, that the compound was about to be hit by a terrorist attack and that no Youtube video had anything to do with it all.
It was revealed that ambassador Stevens himself sent messages to the administration telling them that al Qaeda flags had been seen flying over various government buildings in Libya in the days before the attack. We also find out that al Qaeda itself had warned the USA that an attack was being planned.

Rep. Cole On McCarthy, Creating New Tax Hikes, and Giving Obama Credit for ‘Reform’

In a recent interview, Representative Tom Cole (R, OK) tried to take the “reasonable” stance by claiming that President Obama deserves credit for “reform,” but wouldn’t go so far as to say the tea party was like McCarthyism. He also said he’s open to tax hikes.
In an interview with Bloomberg’s Al Hunt aired on October 26, Cole said that he thinks “both sides would like to deal with the sequester” and by “deal with” he means he’s open to raising taxes, though he uses the euphemism “raising revenue.”
Cole told Hunt that “we,” meaning the GOP, are “willing to put more revenue on the table” to settle the budget negotiations by the December 13 deadline.
The Congressman claims that the GOP is looking to raise taxes in a “pro-growth” way. Cole also says that he’d like to see a tax hike connected to “larger tax reform.”
When he was questioned on those Republicans that no matter what comes will vote no on new “revenue,” Cole ceded the point that many would.

Sen. Ted Cruz: We Need Our Grassroots Army to Take Down Obamacare

Senator Ted Cruz (R, TX) has not backed off from his drive to destroy the President’s disastrous take over of our healthcare system with his Obamacare scheme and this weekend he was in Iowa bucking up the troops and urging a “grassroots army” to rise up and dismantle Obamacare.
Cruz was appearing before a crowd in Akron, Iowa on Friday, October 25 in three days of events that many think indicates he’s considering a run for President in 2016.
Cruz says he is only focused on his work in the Senate now, but if he does look to a run for the White House, Iowa is a traditional place to start to raise his profile.
Whatever his goals for the future, for today he is still beating the drum to defeat Obamacare and he made some excellent points about the hypocrisy of the left, the Democrats and the Old Media complex (but I thrice repeat myself) that attacked those that wanted to delay and defund Obamacare.

Fox News’ Judge Jeanine Pirro is so flabbergasted by the mess that is the Obamacare website rollout that she recently wondered if a groundhog had advised the administration to dive back into their hole and put the thing off for another six weeks of bleak Obamacare winter.
Pirro slammed Obama for giving the nation a six-week reprieve on Obamacare because, as the administration says, “we are confused” about Obamacare. She goes on to slap Obama for claiming it is we, the people, who are at fault for the disaster that is Obamacare.
Then she amusingly asked where Obama got his “six more weeks” of putting off the law using a clip from the movie Groundhog Day to ridicule the arbitrary decision to make it six weeks.

Gay Marriage Makes Just ANY Relationship OK

One of the arguments that people that oppose gay marriage used to deny legal marriage for gays is that allowing gays to marry opens the door for every other sort of “marriage”–marrying gays, multiple partners, animals, even children–and this eventually destroys society. Gays denied that their support of gay marriage created that slippery slope toward destroying marriage and the family, but a recent CNN report seems to make the lie to that denial.
On October 26, CNN published a story on Polyamory–the practice of having three, four or more people together in a “marriage”–with the practice being mostly portrayed as a perfectly normal, even desirable, form of “marriage.”
As America has argued about gay marriage, homosexuals claimed that they were not looking to destroy marriage as an institution nor were they trying to eliminate the nuclear family. They claimed that all they cared about were their “rights” to “love who they love.”
Of course, no one ever said they should not be allowed to “love who they love.” That argument was a red herring used to tug at heartstrings. In fact, all of the arguments gays used were emotional arguments and this is the reason that foes of gay marriage said that allowing gay marriage is just one more step toward legalizing just any sort of relationship, that gay marriage was a slippery slope to a host of illicit “relationships.”

High Cigarette Taxes Bring Little Revenue and New Crime

Rumors are once again rumbling in the cash-starved, big spenders in California’s legislature to raise tobacco taxes. But does this work? History says that not only does the tax hike rarely bring in more money to the state the hike also causes more crime as criminals move in with black market good s at cheaper prices.
Once again the denizens of Sacramento are looking to a huge hike in taxes. Earlier this year Senator Kevin de Leon floated a scheme to raise taxes by two dollars a pack for cigarettes.
Democrats claim that this will bring in millions of dollars in new taxes a year but other states have tried this and found that instead of bringing in what legislators thought would come in all they got was more black market crimes and cigarette smuggling.
In 2012, for instance, the State of New York raised cigarette taxes yet still had a $130 million shortfall. The new taxes did not bring in what Empire State legislators projected.
But this is the least of the problems that large hikes in tobacco taxes bring to a state. The biggest problem is that it also brings a hike in crime.

BREAKING: Settlement on Anti-Tax Group’s Political Spending By California Authorities

In the run up to the 2012 election an out-of-state, conservative, anti-tax group put upwards to $11 million into the effort to fight tax hikes in California. Immediately left-leaning groups cried foul and state authorities filed all sorts of charges against the political spending trying to force the group to disclose donors. Now that case has been settled and on terms favorable to the conservative group.
The One million dollar fine settlement was agreed upon between authorities and Arizona-based non-profits, Americans for Responsible Leadership and the Center to Protect Patient Rights (CPPR). The group Americans for Job Security were also a part of the coalition.
CPPR entered the California elections to fight Governor Jerry Brown’s tax hike scheme as well as to advocate for a ballot measure to fight overarching union power. Once in the ring, though, the $11 million being spent was attacked.
At issue is a California law that forces donor disclosure of groups spending on state-centered issue advocacy. Federal law does not require Political action groups to disclose donors.

Dem. Senator Dick Durbin Lies That Republican Said He Couldn’t Stand to Look at Obama

Illinois Senator Dick Durbin has not only been caught red (or blue) handed in a lie, but now he’s doubling down on that lie by claiming that a Republican leader in the House of Reps. told the President to his face that he “cannot stand to look at him.”
Senator Durbin, the second highest ranking Democrat in the U.S. Senate, took to his Facebook page to call Republicans names (as he usually does) and passed on the lie that Republican leadership hates Obama so much they “cannot even stand to look at” him.
**UPDTATE**
Durbin is also trying to raise money on this lie sending out fundraiser emails to supporters pushing the lie that Republicans insulted the President to his face.

Many Republicans searching for something to say in defense of the disastrous shutdown strategy will say President Obama just doesn’t try hard enough to communicate with Republicans. What are the chances of an honest conversation with someone who has just said something so disrespectful?
But as soon as this calumny was belched out by the Soldier-hating Senator (see video above) denials from Republican leaders John Boehner and Eric Cantor were released. It just didn’t happen, they said.

Allen West, former Congressman from Florida, is always right on target with his comments, we all know, and his recent Facebook post was exactly right. It’s the “white liberal progressives” who are the real racists in American society.
On Tuesday, October 22, West took to his Facebook Page to lay out the truth.
“And another thing,” West wrote, “beyond Grayson and his cross, there’s Democrat Senator Harry Reid refering to Barack Obama as light-skinned and not speaking in “Negro” dialect. And Democrat Vice President Joe Biden refering to Barack Obama as “clean and articulate.” Where oh where is the outrage from NAACP, National Urban League, Congressional Black Caucus, Rev’s Jackson or Sharpton? Oops, I forgot — white liberal progressives have a get out of jail free card. It’s just tragic that these traitors are selling the black community out to the party of slavery, Ku Klux Klan, Jim Crow, literacy tests, poll tax, and modern day economic servitude. Harry Reid: Obamacare first step to single-payer system

As the nation enters the third week of the Obamacare health exchange implementation, it’s worth taking a second look at some interesting comments made in August by one of the chief architects of the law.
In short, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., never really thought the exchanges would work.
He just sees the Affordable Care Act as the first step to a fully government-run health care system, something that could be easier to achieve after the glitch-riddled, problematic opening of the federal health insurance exchanges this month.
During an appearance on a Las Vegas PBS program in August, Reid said he sees a national single-payer health system as the natural next step for health care in America. Reid said the nation had to “work its way past” insurance-based health care, according to a recap provided by the Las Vegas Sun newspaper.
“What we’ve done with Obamacare is have a step in the right direction, but we’re far from having something that’s going to work forever,” Reid said.
The so-called “single-payer system” essentially would do away with private health insurance and would allow the government to become the sole provider of medical costs (though all costs would actually be picked up by the taxpayers, of course), similar to the socialized medical systems in Canada, Great Britain and elsewhere. The benefits of a single-payer system, from the government’s point of view at least, is that it does away with one of those pesky Obamacare problems — having to get people to enroll in the exchanges through their own free will.

Politico Buttresses Liberal Republicans at the Expense of Conservatives

The Old Media establishment hates all Republicans, certainly, but they tolerate liberal Republicans because those sorts of Republicans don’t rock the boat and are quite happy taking the scraps from the Democrats’ table. So, the media always does its best to promote liberal Republicans and will use them as a foil to destroy conservatives–the latter of whom they truly despise. Politico recently had a perfect example of this Old Media strategy.
In a piece discussing how conservative Republicans in the House of Representatives are lagging with their donations to the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC), Politico had a perfect example of how the left frames the debate when they are pretending to “report” on what is going on with the GOP.
The story noted how many of the House conservatives most associated with tea party principals don’t seem to keen on giving some of the campaign war chests to the NRCC so that it can promote left of center Republicans–and who can blame them?
In a great example of agenda “journalism,” the left’s narrative was perfectly pushed in the third paragraph of the slanted piece by Politico’s Alex Isenstadt.

Democrat Congressman Uses Burning KKK Cross as Anti-Tea Party Illustration in Fundraiser Email

Representative Alan Grayson of Florida is one of the biggest ignoramuses in Congress. He’s proving this truth once again with his latest hate mongering by using a photo of a burning KKK cross on a fundraising email in his latest attempt to slam the tea party movement and raise some money from his hate-filled supporters.
Unfortunately, this sort of disgusting behavior is nothing new for this creep. He’s called women “whores,” he calls everyone a racist, and he’s been one of the biggest mouths in DC.
His latest racebaiting screed starts with a subject line that reads, “The Tea Party: ‘No More Popular Than The Klan,” (itself a humongous lie). Then the email sports a photo of KKK clansmen standing near a burning cross. A caption reads, “Now you know what the ‘T’ stands for.”
The fundraising email goes on to recount a conversation the profane congressman had with race-baiter Al Sharpton.

Consumer Reports Says Stay Away From Healthcare.gov

President Obama’s new healthcare website is so bad that even the famed consumer advocate magazine Consumer Reports is warning thatAmericans should steer clear of the Obamacare websites until (and/or IF) the website ever gets fixed.
The absurd thing, here, it that Obama has been working on this system and this website interface for three years and the launch has been a disaster. Nothing works–not on the user end or the insurance company end–and the lack of security for everyone’s personal info is extremely bad.

Wisconsin Democrat Gets Jail Time for Voting for Obama Twice in 2012

A Milwaukee, Wisconsin man just received a six-month jail sentence for illegally voting for Barack Obama twice in the 2012 election. And liberals say there is no liberal voter fraud!
Chad Gigowski, 28, of Milwaukee has an excuse for his vote fraud, though. He was drunk and high on Election Day. And he’s “truly sorry” for his actions… more like he’s sorry he got caught.
The District Attorney, at least, thinks there was a deliberate quality to this fraud.
