Ahead of the President’s State of the Union speech, taxpayer funded National Public Radio (NPR) tried to help the White House push the false notion that the sequestration budget cut policy was conceived by the Republicans. In truth, it was initiated by Obama and pushed by the Democrat Party.
In order to advertise its coverage, NPR tweeted that sequestration was a “Republican invention.”
“Though A Republican Invention, Obama Could Get Blamed For Sequester… With the deadline approaching for automatic spending cuts, Republicans in Congress are pushing hard to rebrand the cuts that were agreed to as part of the debt-ceiling agreement of 2011,” NPR claimed.

In yet another effort at reading tealeaves, a newspaper in Australia claimed that Pope Benedict “may” have stepped down because of the sex abuse scandals that have engulfed the Catholic Church for decades.
A top assistant to Daniel Coronell, Univision’s vice president of news, took to Facebook to attack Senator Marco Rubio (R, FL) after Rubio spokesman Alex Burgos announced that the Senator was going to give the Republican reply to Obama’s upcoming State of the Union Address.
Dan Rather is back to defending the story that essentially got him fired from network television by claiming that the documents he presented in 2004 as proof that George W. Bush went AWOL from the Texas Air National Guard have never been proven to be forgeries.
Koch Industries recently published a response to the work of UK Independent journalist Steve Connor whose work, Koch says, “misled readers.” The two articles accused Koch Industries of secretly funding attacks on climate change.
The next in a line of recent Fox News departures is on-air contributor Dick Morris whose contract, it has been announced, will not be renewed. The departure was reported early on Tuesday and not long after Fox 
If Hillary really doesn’t run for president in 2016, it is so hard for the Washington Post to “imagine the presidential field without a woman contender” that the paper has decided to look at who might replace her. And the paper has arrived at… Janet Napolitano?
Geraldo Rivera recently announced on his radio show that he was considering a run as a Republican for the Senate from the state of New Jersey. But as is Geraldo’s wont, he’s already criticizing the very party whose blessing he seeks.
In December, ABC’s World News saw no news at all in the historic appointment of African American Tim Scott to the Senate in South Carolina. No mention was made of it during the broadcast. 
MSNBC is still scheduling Sandra Fluke as a guest and on Friday’s NewsNation with Tamron Hall she essentially claimed that leukemia treatments and contraception coverage is pretty much the same thing in the eyes of those “religious employers” that want to use religious objections to deny “healthcare” coverage to employees.
Once again liberal economist and New York Times columnist Paul Krugman has said that our government trillions in debt is not a problem and even intimated that we might we crank up the printing presses and print more fiat money to get us out of our bad economy.
The inordinate praise for now former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has been thick throughout the media, but no other coverage was more obsequious than ABC’s. Cynthia McFadden topped off this praise by comparing Clinton to no less than Thomas Jefferson.
The Old Media is getting a little help from team Obama on how to report about Obamacare the “correct” way. To achieve that goal, Obama operatives are setting up propaganda symposiums for journalists and giving large cash donations to journalism associations to help spread Obama’s word.
NBC is taking some flack for casting Mike Tyson–a convicted rapist and accused serial abuser–as a victim of abuse in an upcoming episode of the TV show “Law & Order: SVU.”
Despite his opportunistic, nightly campaign against the Constitution of the United States of America, CNN’s Pierce Morgan’s ratings still aren’t so hot. In fact, even RuPaul beat him earlier this week!
Texas’ newest Senator, Republican Ted Cruz, has launched a Cruz missile right at Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel for the threatening letters the mayor sent to several American banks because they do business with American gun manufacturers. Cruz advises the banks not to be bullied by the Windy City Mayor’s bluster.
Many received with raised eyebrow President Obama’s recent claim that he goes skeet shooting at Camp David “all the time.” But until Fox News’ Jana Winter looked into it, few in the media seemed much interested in trying to verify Obama’s startling claim. Maybe it’s because Obama’s claim is as absurd as it first seemed.

On the January 23 broadcast of Fox News’ “Bill O’Reilly Show,” liberal commentator Kirsten Powers found herself agreeing with the concept that liberals are less tolerant of opposing opinions. Powers went further, though, positing that this intolerance might stem from the fact that liberals are too used to controlling the media and not being confronted by opposition.

One of America’s most famous patriots is slated for a little attention on the AMC cable network–perhaps regrettably so. There may soon be a bit of hate going around for him with a new AMC sitcom in development called “We Hate Paul Revere.” So much for sitcoms where “everyone loves” someone, eh? And so much for patriotism.
Last week as Vice President Joe Biden talked publicly about his efforts to assist President Obama with his various gun-banning schemes, he made a startling new claim. He said that while golfing in Pennsylvania in 2006 he personally heard the gunfire from a mass shooting being committed at a nearby school. But did he really? Facts seem to run contrary to Biden’s late claim.
