Liberals are still wailing about the “danger” our kids face in schools due to guns in the classroom and mass shootings. But even as Bloomberg’s absurd anti-gun group and others act as if we have some national crisis, the reality of it is that bicycles hurt more kids every year than guns, and not by just a little.
Certainly it is appalling if even one child is hurt in school and outrageous if he is hurt with a gun, but before we get all crazed over the “crisis” of guns in school, we need a bit of perspective.
For instance, left-wing Slate magazine noted just after the crime at Sandy Hook Elementary in 2012 that 297 kids had been killed in school shooting between 1980 and 2012.
Again, it is horrid that even one child should be killed at school, but let’s look at just a few other statistics to which to compare that three decades of school shootings.

In Virginia, the U.S. Army has built an American city, replete with a church, a mosque, an embassy building, a bank and a working subway system, in order to practice assaulting American cities. Welcome to Obama’s America, folks. 
Dwayne Ferguson an African American community activist and vehement anti-gun campaigner who worked tirelessly for New York’s gun grabbing SAFE Act was arrested last week for carrying a concealed weapon into a grade school. He said he “forgot” he had the gun on him and wants to be given a pass on the violation.
CNN sports writer LZ Granderson tried to write a serious column about Chicago’s gun ban laws and only ended up making himself look foolish for the effort. This is what happens when sports dorks try to think on subjects outside their silly, inconsequential world of sports. 
A Michigan man legally carrying a pistol openly in a holster was illegally stopped and harassed by Grand Rapids police in March of 2013 in an incident that sparked a federal lawsuit. Now the full video of the encounter has been released to the public.
One state, at least, is beginning to understand what the “right to bear arms” really means. Kansas is now allowing citizens with legal, concealed carry firearms licenses to carry their arms inside public buildings. And liberals are screaming bloody murder.
President Obama wants to slap more gun control policies on the country but can’t get Congress to act. So, he’s using his fiat powers to regulate to curb our Second Amendment rights.
Let this be a warning to all arrogant politicians who think they don’t have to listen to their constituents. An anti-gun mayor in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania was fired by pro-gun voters this month after he enraged hundreds of voters by joining New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s discredited anti-gun group, Mayors Against Gun Violence.
This is how the liberals destroy our rights, folks. A mother in Georgia has now been told she isn’t allowed to go to her own child’s taxpayer funded grade school because she has a concealed carry permit.
A textbook in Texas has been discovered teaching that Americans have no individual right to keep and bear arms, essentially telling kids that only the military–or an organized militia–can have arms under the Constitution.
New York’s billionaire Mayor Michael “Nanny” Bloomberg is well known as a hater of our Second Amendment rights, of course, but he has been caught again lying about the true facts in order to push his ideology on the country. This time he was caught lying about how many children are shot in America.
California already has some of the most restrictive gun laws in the nation and if the state’s extremist Democrats get their way, they are going to make those laws even harder on law abiding citizens.
