This is one of my preeminent examples of why there should never, ever be such a thing as a union for a government employee–ANY government employee. A teachers union in Colorado has been caught red handed using tax money to fund a campaign to urge lawmakers to raise taxes.
This is the single best reason to be rid of government employee unions. The fact is, they are entirely un-democratic and blatantly un-American.
The story comes to us form ColoradoPeakPolitics, but it is a tale that could just as easily come from New York, Illinois, or any other state bedeviled with grasping, anti-American public employee unions.
Here is now the website explains what the teachers union is doing in the Jeffco public school system in Jefferson County, CO.

OUTRAGE: Teachers Union Caught Using Tax Dollars to Fund Tax Hike Campaign”
A taxpayer paid professor in Denver is forcing students to recite a satirical version of the pledge of allegiance that attacks the United States for targeting blacks and women and says that Republicans are homophobic and against “the poor.”
The Senate race in Colorado has begun to turn in favor of the Republicans over the last few months but that favor may grow as this week it was learned that some 22,000 citizens are losing their healthcare plans. But Politico claims it is “unclear” if those cancellations are a result of Obamacare.
The left was super, super excited to find out that Deaspin.com discovered that Cory Gardner, the Republican candidate for senate in Colorado, lied about playing football for his high school football team in the 1980s. The left went wild pushing the Deadspin.com story until… well, until the Deadspin story turned out to be false in every way.

The venerable, left-wing Denver paper hired toker Ricardo Baca to review pot sellers and write about the issues around the current legal status as the Centennial State moves forward with counties and communities figuring out how to write laws and ordinances to accommodate the new pot laws.
Obamacare has been an absolute disaster all across the United States. Millions of Americans have lost their insurance due to the new rules that Obama put in place with his Obamacare law. But there is one success to report. In Colorado a man just learned that his dog got covered by Obamacare.
In the aftermath of the crime at a Colorado movie theater where 12 people were murdered, the Colorado State legislature quickly moved to adopt stricter gun laws and Senate President John Morse led that effort. But now, after his anti-gun bills were successfully passed into law, Morse faces a recall election that could turn him out of office.
ABC News President Ben Sherwood held a conference call of staffers on July 24 and told them that he felt his network’s coverage of the shooting at a Colorado theater was topnotch work, well, except for that whole smearing of the Tea Party indulged by ABC News chief investigative reporter Brian Ross, that is.
In a July 21
The awful crime in Colorado was only hours old when Brian Ross, a so-called “journalist” from ABC News, immediately began to politicize the shooting attempting to blame the crime on the Tea Party, conservatives, Republicans, and anyone from the right side of the political aisle with whom he disagrees quite despite the fact that he really had no information that might point to his political enemies.
Over this past weekend several hundred conservative bloggers, writers, political operatives, and Tea Patiers got together in Denver, Colorado to attend a conference aimed toward helping these activists be more effective n their efforts. But conservative activism wasn’t the only theme on the schedule when the event was crashed by denizens of Occupy Denver who came to protest. What they came to protest was a tad unclear, but isn’t that just of a piece with the whole Occupy “movement”?
