Alderman/Mayor Emanuel Admit: Chicago is NOT for Christians

Anti-religion Chicago Alderman Joe Moreno has affirmed that the City of Chicago does not welcome Christians and stands four square against Christian principles. Further, Moreno says he has the “moral support” of Mayor Rahm Emanuel for his pronouncement.

Moreno is trying to shut down the opening of a new Chick-Fil-A restaurant in the city. Why? Because the chief of the company — well-known as enthusiastic boosters of Christian ideals — recently affirmed that his company does not support the homosexual lifestyle.

Moreno got on his high horse claiming that the fast food chain “discriminates” against homosexuals. This, of course, is a lie. No where has Chick-Fil-A been accused of any concrete discrimination against gays.

For his part, Mayor Emanuel agreed with liar Moreno.

Ever since the Supreme Court’s Citizens United decision, left-wingers and Democrats have been braying for center right and conservative organizations, PACS, and super PACS to reveal their donors, the libs claiming that such “transparency” is good for American politics. But as far as these people are concerned, “disclosure” is only to be forced on others and the fact that one of Obama’s biggest campaign donation bundlers is the leader of a very secretive Democrat money machine proves the rule rather than the exception.

That campaign money maven is Kelly Craighead, president and managing director of Democracy Alliance, a high dollar group of Democrat donors founded in 2005 with start-up money from left-wing billionaire George Soros.

So, what does this group do? According to the Washington Free Beacon:

The Alliance serves as a clearinghouse that connects donors to endorsed organizations—such as the Center for American Progress and the pro-Obama Super PAC Priorities USA—without threat of disclosure. The Alliance is not listed in any phonebook, and does not disclose its donors or endorsed organizations.

That’s right, this group that is made up of left-wingers that scold the right for a lack of transparency won’t reveal its own donors. So much for veracity.

MoveOn.org’s Stealth Fund Raising off Colorado Theater Murders

Not even a day had passed before extremist, left-wing Internet activists MoveOn.org began to try and raise funds off the tragic crime.

In an early afternoon posting to its SignOn.org website, a site where like-minded activists can join MoveOn’s campaigns and sign Internet petitions, MoveOn urged supporters to “stand with the Aurora, Colorado shooting victims and their families.”

The site features a petition that MoveOn activists can sign. Names and emails are required which in turn go into the MoveOn database so that fundraising emails can then be sent to the mourners of the Colorado victims.

Once again, MoveOn sees a crime as a way to raise money for its activism. Pretty cold blooded, really.

If you are paying any attention at all to politics, you can’t have missed Obama’s claim that no one builds their own businesses and that success only comes through the benevolence of our lord and Master, The One, Barack “Obammessiah” Obama and his big brother, nanny state, government.

So, I thought I’d grab some of the funnier images I saw lambasting the nanny in chief for his hate for American entrepreneurship.

But first, here is what he said earlier this week:

There are a lot of wealthy, successful Americans who agree with me — because they want to give something back. They know they didn’t — look, if you’ve been successful, you didn’t get there on your own. You didn’t get there on your own. I’m always struck by people who think, well, it must be because I was just so smart. There are a lot of smart people out there. It must be because I worked harder than everybody else. Let me tell you something — there are a whole bunch of hardworking people out there.

If you were successful, somebody along the line gave you some help. There was a great teacher somewhere in your life. Somebody helped to create this unbelievable American system that we have that allowed you to thrive. Somebody invested in roads and bridges. If you’ve got a business — you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen. The Internet didn’t get invented on its own. Government research created the Internet so that all the companies could make money off the Internet.

Obama is the worst, most anti-business President we ever had.

More from President Obama, the most negative campaigner in recent presidential campaign history. This time Obama is name calling Fox News fans, saying they are “stubborn” for having the temerity to frequent the most watched cable news station on the air.

At a campaign stop in Virginia on July 6, Obama thought it would be funny to take a shot at Fox News.

So, just in case some of your friends or neighbors, you know, uncle Jim who’s a little stubborn and been watching Fox News. Well, he thinks that somehow I raised taxes, let’s just be clear, we’ve lowered taxes for middle class families since I came into office.

The President has been touring the country claiming that the end of the Bush tax cuts will cause the government to “spend nearly a $1 trillion more” in tax cuts for the “wealthiest 2 percent of Americans.” Even factcheck.org says that this is a gross exaggeration.

A military judge has just put off American justice in a terror trial so that the accused can observe Ramadan. So our culture, our system of justice is now to take a back seat to Islam. This is how our civilization ends and how we capitulate to radical Islamism without our firing a shot, folks.

As the AP reports, “A U.S. military judge agreed Monday to postpone the next court hearings at the Guantanamo Bay prison for five men charged in the Sept. 11 attacks to avoid a conflict with the Muslim holy period of Ramadan.”

Well, isn’t that nice of him? Those that perverted their own religion to launch an attack that killed thousands of Americans will be allowed to take a holiday from their prosecution!

Obama Just Hates Capitalism. Period.

Many are saying that President Obama just doesn’t understand capitalism, that his big government ideas are born of a misunderstanding of what makes the United States of America the great nation it has become. Many think that he just doesn’t grasp our American culture, our philosophy, and our founder’s vision. With his comments made at a campaign stop in Roanoke, Virginia on July 13, one can easily think that might be the case.

Here is what he said about the business sector:

Somebody helped to create this unbelievable American system that we have that allowed you to thrive. Somebody invested in roads and bridges. If you’ve got a business, you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen. The Internet didn’t get invented on its own. Government research created the Internet so that all the companies could make money off the Internet.

So, Mr. President, no one makes his own business? Someone else handed it to him? And the wellspring of all business is government spending?

As they used to say on Saturday Night Live back in the day, “Barack you ignorant slut.”

Many are saying that this, along with a plethora of other off handed comments he’s made over the years proves he doesn’t understand the American economy. Other comments such as his 2008 claim that he wants to “redistribute” everyone’s wealth, his thought that he wanted to “necessarily bankrupt” the coal industry in order to implement jobs-killing faux enviro-nut rules, his crony loans to multiple failed Solyndra-like “green” energy companies, and his sweetheart deals with other friends, campaign donors, and members of his administration — all with OUR tax money — all this shows he is not a capitalist, but a quasi-fascist that thinks the State should own and control the business sector.

Obama’s Crony Capitalism Hurts the Middle Class

Former GOP head Ed Gillespie is now one of Romney’s senior advisers. This weekend he was on CNN’s State of the Union show and he had something exactly right to say about Obgama’s crony capitalist economy and how it is hurting the middle class.

What they’re seeing is if you’re a political donor to Barack Obama, you’re going to do fine because you’re going to get a payoff. If you’re a middle class worker, you’re in jeopardy, you’re facing a layoff. That’s the kind of economy we’re seeing with President Obama. His buddies do well, political supporters do well, they get green jobs, money, and they get stimulus dollars. If you’re a middle class worker, you’re struggling right now and Mitt Romney can make things better for you and he has a plan to do and that’s what we’re talking about while President Obama is trying to talk about everything but.

Exactly right, Ed!

Worse, as we see company after company that Obama floated with the people’s tax dollars going down the tubes and folding while the big money Obama donors that ran those companies into the ground get away with pockets full of millions of our tax money so generously donated to them by the President, the rest of us are losing jobs, losing pensions, and losing our homes.

Barack Obama’s so-called stimulus did not help this country at all. The only thing that wasted money did was go to states to pay unions.

Barack Obama couldn’t be destroying this country better if he’d have planned it.

Obama ‘Outsourcing’ Fundraising… to China!

While Obama tries to get America focused on the false claim that Romney outsourced jobs as the chief of Bain Capitol, what was the President doing? Why, outsourcing his fundraising, of course. Outsourcing it to Shanghai, China to be precise.

On July 11, Obama’s big money men were holding a nice fundraiser in Red China for the President. It headed up by Technology for Obama co-chairman Robert Roche, who has committed to raising $500,000 for Obama.

Holder’s DOJ Unaccountably Hikes Claims of Number of Texans Lacking Photo I.D.

U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder originally said that some 600,000 Texans lacked a voter I.D. and therefore would be disenfranchised by the Texas voter I.D. law, but Department Of Justice lawyers have suddenly upped that number greatly. Holder’s DOJ now claims that 1.4 million otherwise eligible Texas voters don’t have proper I.D.s.

Unfortunately, Holder did not release the figures or the methods that were used to arrive at the newer and much higher figure which holds that one in fourteen Texans have no photo I.D.

AG Holder claims that because so many Texans have no photo I.D. they would be barred from voting under the Texas Voter I.D. Law even though the new law requires the state to give photo I.D.s to such citizens for free.

Elizabeth Warren Lies or is She a Victim of ‘Right-Wing Smear Machine’?

We see this axiom at play again in the Massachusetts Senate race where Democrat candidate Elizabeth “Faux-Cahontis” Warren — who has for decades made her fortune and gained professional success in part for falsely claiming she has native American ancestry — is now being called a victim of the “right-wing smear machine.”

Apparently, Warren’s apologists are now saying that her decades of lies and wealth building of a false claim isn’t her fault. The whole darn mess is just a result of those mean ol’ right-wingers.

Already we’ve been treated to Warren’s statement that the whole issue is an attack by “a right wing extremist .” This claim was made after the candidate refused to meet with representatives of the real Cherokees who demanded Warren meet with them to explain her false claims of being one of them.

More Proof: Democrats Just Love Vote Fraud

Fraud. This is one of the big reasons I am wholly against ballot measures. Rarely is there ever a ballot measure sponsored by Democrats that isn’t shot all the way through with petition fraud and we see it again in Ohio.

This time a petition drive is being pushed by several extremist left-wing groups to create an un-elected, state-wide board of quasi officials that will determine the shape of Ohio’s voting districts, all without input from the voters. In other words, Democrats and Sorros-like left-wingers want to put in an un-elected group of hacks that will always go their way regardless of the political climate in the state.

The way these left-wing groups are pushing this idea on Ohio is via a ballot measure. The idea of a ballot initiative is to get a certain number of signatures from voters so that the question can be put on the ballot at the next election. Then voters can decide if they want it or don’t want it. Seems regular old democracy, right?

But the problem with these left-wing ballot initiatives is that they are always, always, always filled with fraud. Democrats always fake thousands of signatures, commit fraud on a daily basis to get their numbers, lie to voters, and generally break every law on the books that governs ballot initiatives. And this one is no different.

Maggie Thurber reports that Democrats are telling people to sign their names multiple times, that they should make up names, that they can sign for family and friends… just committing fraud every day they walk the streets looking for signatures.

Yes, ObamacareTax IS the Biggest Tax in American History

Lefties everywhere have hastened to try and absolve the ObamacareTax claiming that it really isn’t the largest tax in American history despite that conservatives say it is. What is their proof? Well, as a percentage of GDP ObamacareTax is smaller than other taxes we’ve instituted in the past. This, statistic, though, is quite misleading.

LoudTalkerBlog has crunched the numbers, but the chief take away is in this chart, and, yes, it is the largest in total cost ever:

Talker goes on to detail why the ObamacareTax is the biggest ever.

But, if you look at the raw dollars of the deal, again using Drum’s numbers, the cost of Obamacare is $71.18 billion dollars. (0.49% x 2010 GDP of $14.526B). That would make it the largest tax increase ever. The second highest dollar amount in the list? Clinton’s 1993 tax increase of $33.34 billion, which is less than half of the Obama tax increase. Third would be GHW Bush and fourth Reagan.

Worse, those lefties that are claiming it isn’t the biggest tax ever are leaving out all sorts of aspects to ObamacareTax in order to make its impact smaller.

In other words, they lie.

No surprise.

Politico Forgets to Mention Democrats Caused Student Loan Interest Rate Hike Problem

In its update on the coming student loan interest rate hike deal in Congress, Politico dances its blame-the-GOP tap dance once again saying that the coming rate hike is all just “politics.” But somehow Politico forgets to note that this interest rate problem is of the Democrats’ own making in the first place.

Reporting that Congress has signed off on a bipartisan deal to halt the scheduled interest rate increase on millions of student loans, Politico takes a paragraph to “explain” what the hold up was.

Lawmakers moved quickly on Friday to end a legislative dispute that got caught up in politics on Capitol Hill and on the campaign trail, as Obama repeatedly blamed Congress for delaying and Republicans accused the president of being AWOL in negotiations.

Yes, those darned old Republicans were just engaging in “politics.”

But, wouldn’t it have been nice for Politico to note why we got here with this student loan interest rate fiasco?

Texas Attny Gen on SCOTUS Obamacare Decision: ‘The American People Lost’

On Monday, July 2, Texas Attorney General Greg Abbot participated in a conference call sponsored by Americans for Prosperity – Texas to talk Obamacare and how it affects the states. During that call, AG Abbot said “the American people lost” as a result of Chief Justice John Roberts’ decision. He also said the decision “threatens prosperity” as much as any Supreme Court ruling ever has.

Abbott warned that the determination that Obamacare is now a tax, the biggest tax increase in American history, is “a threat to all of us.” He noted that the ruling is “a tax on liberty itself” because now Congress seems to have been given the power to tax inactivity rather than activity.

“The New Taxing Authority will Empower Congress in an almost unlimited way,” Abbott said.

Abbott utilized the same car analogy that many have used since last Thursday to explain why this ruling is dangerous. Congress may now be able to tax people for not buying “green” cars, the AG said.

Chief Justice Roberts Reelected Barack Obama On Thursday

I know many of you may be upset at this article, but I think the election is now over. Obama will get a second term. I don’t say this happily, but barring any really controversial incident that makes Obama look bad — or worse than he is, I should say — it looks to me that he’s now unbeatable, especially by a Mitt Romney.

Now, before you get your undies in a bunch, no this doesn’t mean we should throw in the towel and quit. It always amazes me that people go stampeding directly for the “oh, so you think we should quit” nonsense. I am not saying that, so stow your whining.

To me, the stars seem to be lining up for another Obama win, though certainly one not close to his numbers the first time ’round. Infuriatingly, it is Supreme Court Justice John Roberts that tipped it in for Obama. His giving Obama the supreme win on his socialist takeover of our healthcare system is the win Obama needed to show that he is “on the right track” as far as too many voters will be concerned.

If the Court would have invalidated Obamacare as it should have, Obama would have looked weak. He would have looked the loser. This would have been enough to keep some of his most freebie-loving voters from the polls on voting day and given Romney a fighting chance. But now that “free” healthcare is a big win, the “gimme” set will come out to vote for neo socialist Obama in hopes that in a second term he’ll pay their mortgage and give them a no-work government job.

But even beyond these freebie-grasping, lowlives that will now vote for Obama when many wouldn’t have been excited enough to come out were it a “free” healthcare loss, other Democrat voters who were down on Obama because he seemed to be losing everything lately will now feel energized to come out and vote.

In another sign that our healthcare industry is soon to be just another arm of the Democrat Party, Chicago are Democrat Congresswoman Jan Schakowsky thinks it’s a great idea if doctors unionize.

This will completely end any chance that doctors will care about patients. They will instead become just another uncaring, slipshod union hack that won’t much care about the excellence of his work because he’s protected by union rules. Patients will no longer matter.

Doctors will be just like officious DMV employees. Just like lazy Streets and Sans guys. Like all those little bored, arrogant placemen that work for government.

You, the patient, will no longer matter at all.

Welcome to Obamacare, folks. We’re all the victim of a death panel now.

Obamacare: Largest Tax Hike in U.S. History

Obama specifically said (yes in his own voice) that Obamacare is not a tax when he sold this faux healthcare bill to the American people.

He simply lied. In fact, even after the Supreme Court upheld Obamacare only because it is a tax, Obama’s White House is still claiming it isn’t a tax.

Obama should go down in history are the biggest, most destructive liar ever to sit in the Oval Office.

Says Soops:

When the news broke that the Department of Justice had set up a “hotline” to call in abuses of civil liberties in Arizona after the Supreme Court ruled on SB1070, I didn’t think much of it.

Now, I know that as a Republican white guy I am not allowed to have a friend who is Mexican. But I do. I also have a daughter-in-law who is Mexican. One to be that is from Puerto Rico. And I married a Korean. So, I guess I should turn in my white guy card.

Differences Between Bush’s ‘Wide Receiver’ Program and Obama’s ‘Fast & Furious’

It’s the difference between a marshmallow and a Mellow Marsh.

The main Democrat talking point to defend Obama’s debacle — Fast & Furious — is to claim that had begun under Pres. Bush. But in fact, the program they’re referring to that was run during Bush’s administration was called “Wide Receiver”, and it had been discontinued over a year before Obama took office. But more egregious than that is that it’s a facile sound-bite that ignores the stark differences between “Wide Receiver” and “Fast & Furious”, and worse, supposed serious journalists and correspondents do not call Democrats to task for it.

Here are the differences in simplest terms:

  • Wide Receiver (WR) was active from 2005 to 2007 (Oct.). Number of guns involved: 400
  • Fast & Furious (F&F) was active from Fall 2009 – 2011. Number of guns involved: 2,000

GUN TRACKING METHODS:

Electronic tracking
WR — RFID trackers installed in guns.
F&F — No electronic tracking.

Surveillance
WR — Actively tracked by airborn surveillance.
F&F — No active surveillance of any kind.

Purchases
WR — Straw purchases recorded & surveilled.
F&F — No recording or surveillance of straw purchasers

Further Explanation: The local ATF field agents were ordered not to follow the straw purchasers. Federal agents were not allowed to interdict the guns and they even ran interference for the smugglers with local law enforcement on multiple occasions to make sure those guns made it across the border.

Aaron Worthing Wins Blow for Free Speech, Then Gets SWATed

Earlier today, *Aaron Worthing’s illicitly imposed muzzle was lifted from him by a successful stay of foolish Judge Vaughey’s “flagrantly unconstitutional prior restraint upon” upon Worthing’s rights to free speech. And then? Well, then some criminal leftist SWATed him.

For those unaware of the details of this story check out Dana Loesch’s May 25 post here. But essentially, a convicted left-wing, domestic terrorist named Brett Kimberlin began a campaign to use nuisance lawsuits and vicious, false accusations to get Mr. Worthing sent to jail because Worthing had the temerity to expose him for the criminal he is.

Then, a dull witted, aged “judge” that has no clue what all these Internets stuff is all about, stepped on Mr. Worthing’s rights to free speech with an illogically constituted injunction.

When the stay of Vaughey’s order summarily quashing Worthing’s right to write blog posts about his ordeal was lifted, that gave back toWorthing his Constitutional right to talk about his situation.
