Even as the Democrats are desperately trying to gin up stories about ties between Donald Trump and the Russians, it is fitting that we get a reminder about real presidential scandals with the sudden admission from what is essentially still Obama’s Internal Revenue Service that they suddenly “found” over 6,000 documents in its corruption case from 2013. Worse, it appears the IRS did not include these 6,000 documents in its submission to Congress in 2015.
With this new revelation, we are reminded of the scandal of Obama’s IRS using its power in an attempt to destroy the conservative groups that were Obama’s political opponents. If you’ll recall, the IRS was caught forcing conservative groups to jump through a multitude of hoops to win a tax status costing those groups tens of thousands in attorney fees and all the while liberals groups were given near immediate clearance saving them thousands and allowing them to get on with their political activism in short order.

The new documents were revealed to conservative Washington watchdog group Judicial Watch. The documents are part of the group’s continuing effort, started back in 2013, to ferret out all of the illegal actions perpetrated by Obama’s taxing agency.

The Department of Justice has refused to charge former IRS chief Lois Lerner on criminal contempt charges after she refused to testify before the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee last year. But this doesn’t have to be the end of any possibility of bringing Lerner to justice. IF he has the political will, Speaker John Boehner has options.
In a perfect example of the partisan lies uttered by Democrats, back in 1998 and ’99, Congressman Elijah Cummings (D, MD) was quoted ripping the IRS every way but Sunday. He hated the agency and thought it a corrupt mess. But now that Obama is in charge and his IRS is under suspicion of criminality, suddenly Cummings is singing the IRS’ praises.
Without a doubt Obama’s government is constantly whipping up hatred for anyone who disagrees with the liberal line. So, at 10PM Eastern on Saturday, April 5, Fox is airing FOX News Reporting: Enemies of the State to expound on this anti-free speech crusade being perpetrated by people and entities ranging from President Obama, Senate Democrat leader Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, to the NSA and the IRS and others on the left-wing of the American political sphere. 
Fox News’ Judge Napolitano recently had some important warnings about President Obama’s takeover of our national healthcare system. Firstly it isn’t healthcare, it’s a tax and secondly be prepared to go to jail if you don’t pay your Obamacare tax.
We’ve talked about the police state that is being built right under our very noses many times. But a recent raid on Alaska mines by the EPA is proof once again that far too many government agencies have para-military, heavily armed divisions. And they need to be curtailed.
The next evil patriotic American group that Obama is using the IRS to intimidate is that well-known, dangerous organization going by the nefarious name the American Legion, the veteran’s group that has been around since WWI.
A new report from the Government Accountability Office (GAO) warns that the Internal Revenue Service should do more to warn taxpayers that they could have some tax liability over their holdings in Internet-based “virtual currencies” like Linden Dollars or Bitcoins.
For Politico, the news about the hundreds of Tea Party protestors in Washington DC on Wednesday, June 19, wasn’t so much about why the protesters were upset, but how it affected the “bipartisan approach” to the House IRS probe. And Politico seemed to blame Glenn Beck for the strain.
Apparently the Big Three TV networks have decided that the IRS intimidation scandal is over and it seems that reporting on the issue has disappeared from the airwaves.
Calls have been coming from all across the political spectrum for President Obama to fire U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder. But some reports now are presuming that Obama simply won’t do it and that AG Holder will weather yet another firestorm of controversy.
There has been much speculation in the media on why Obama’s current scandal of the IRS targeting conservative groups for attack didn’t come out last year when the initial flurry of reportage on the incident was seen. Well, The New York Times thinks it has the answer: it was Rush Limbaugh’s fault.
A new poll conducted jointly by The Washington Post and ABC News revealed some interesting trends. Among other findings, more Americans feel that Obama and his administration are lying about Benghazi, a majority feel that the IRS acted inappropriately by targeting conservative groups, and the media is still distrusted with a majority feeling that the Justice Department’s seizure of the AP’s phone records was justified. Despite all this disapproval, Obama’s approval rating is still just over 50 percent positive.
MSNBC’s Morning Joe host, Joe Scarborough, is nearly apoplectic over the recent IRS admission that it used the power of its office to intimidate conservative groups throughout Obama’s presidency. Not necessarily because the IRS was acting so poorly, but because the scandal hurts his anti-gun argument.
