One state, at least, is beginning to understand what the “right to bear arms” really means. Kansas is now allowing citizens with legal, concealed carry firearms licenses to carry their arms inside public buildings. And liberals are screaming bloody murder.
Logically thinking Kansans note that the new law will likely make many public buildings safer as crooks and mass murderers may find themselves a tad more reluctant to try shooting up a building if they can’t be sure how many others are armed inside.
The new law did give cities that wanted to further explore their options a way to temporarily opt out of the law allowing concealed carry (CC) in public spaces. Claiming a four-year exemption, some city and county governments are still denying CC license holders to carry in some public buildings.
The law also gives governments the option to completely bar CC guns inside, but they are required to install metal detectors and other security devices to facilitate this permanent exemption.
This is where liberals are losing it. They claim that requiring governments to pay for these security devices is somehow an “unfair burden” on the government.

A pair of liberal reporters decided to see what would happen if they attended the great Big Sandy Shoot Out in Arizona and came away with actual knowledge about guns and a certain amount of amazement that gun owners are such nice folks.
British twit Piers Morgan, host of one of CNN’s lowest rated evening talk shows, has made it clear many times that he is wholly ignorant about the U.S. Constitution. Usually he reveals his ignorance about the Second Amendment, but this time he’s shown his stupidity about the First saying that freedom of speech shouldn’t cover speech he doesn’t like.
President Obama wants to slap more gun control policies on the country but can’t get Congress to act. So, he’s using his fiat powers to regulate to curb our Second Amendment rights.
Let this be a warning to all arrogant politicians who think they don’t have to listen to their constituents. An anti-gun mayor in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania was fired by pro-gun voters this month after he enraged hundreds of voters by joining New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s discredited anti-gun group, Mayors Against Gun Violence.
Remember that ol’ Constitution thingie? Politicians in Massachusetts don’t, at least, as is evidence with a new proposal that authorities should have the power to break down the doors of people’s homes to “inspect” the home for “gun safety violations.” Because… it’s for the kids.
This is how the liberals destroy our rights, folks. A mother in Georgia has now been told she isn’t allowed to go to her own child’s taxpayer funded grade school because she has a concealed carry permit.
The family of one of the victims in the murderous crime perpetrated at Sandy Hook Elementary in Newton, Connecticut last year won’t have their Second Amendment rights taken from them even though they lost one of their dear ones to a killer using an AR-15 rifle that terrible day.
VISA credit card company is now beginning to tell merchants that deal in firearms and firearms related merchandise that their credit transactions are no longer welcome with the credit card bureau. This is the newest front launched by the left to destroy America’s Constitutional rights. 
Liberal Illinois is one of the most inhospitable states for Constitutional rights in America and because of that and other considerations yet another gun manufacturer is closing up shop in the Land of Lincoln and fleeing to a neighboring state.
A textbook in Texas has been discovered teaching that Americans have no individual right to keep and bear arms, essentially telling kids that only the military–or an organized militia–can have arms under the Constitution.
The CEO of Starbucks Coffee shops has made a decision. He wants customers with the legal right to carry a gun to stay out of his coffee shops. But he lies when he says he is not anti-gun.
We’ve talked about the police state that is being built right under our very noses many times. But a recent raid on Alaska mines by the EPA is proof once again that far too many government agencies have para-military, heavily armed divisions. And they need to be curtailed.

California already has some of the most restrictive gun laws in the nation and if the state’s extremist Democrats get their way, they are going to make those laws even harder on law abiding citizens.
