Information and data is the key to success, so say many companies these days. The newest attempt to gather customer data is soon to occur in grocery stores that want to put surveillance cameras right on store shelves to watch shoppers and gather their shopping habits for further research.
A recent report by Fox DC says that by 2015 some grocery stores may have cameras right on store shelves aimed at watching how people shop in order to learn more about their habits.
The idea is being floated by the company that owns such food brands as Ritz Crackers, Nabisco, Chips Ahoy cookies, and other snack foods.
