Media Giddy Over Chelsea Clinton Extending Dynasty With Baby Announcement

-By Warner Todd Huston

On Thursday, April 17, Chelsea Clinton said that she and husband of four years, investment banker Marc Mezvinsky, have a blessed event to announce as the couple is now expecting their first child. But the Old Media may be more excited than Chelsea that the Clinton dynasty is growing.

One of the earliest to bubble over with excitement seemed to be a screaming, all caps Tweet pushed out by CNN’s Candy Crowley.

Oddly, Crowley coupled Chelsea’s announcement with Obama’s wonderful Obamacare news, saying, “AT ABOUT THE SAME TIME-TWO ANNOUNCEMENTS: POTUS SAYS 8 MILLION ENROLLED IN ACA, AND CHELSEA CLINTON SAYS SHE’S PREGNANT.”

Even some of Crowley’s fans wondered why she was yelling at them with the all caps post that breaks netiquette standards.

Clinton Papers: Bill and Hillary Feared the Internet

-By Warner Todd Huston

The Clinton Library has released over 7,000 pages of documents from Bill’s presidency, likely hoping that what ever is in them will be “old news” by the time Hillary announces her bid for president. But one of the documents is very interesting and shows that Bill and Hillary really feared and hated the free flow of information on the Internet.

A report, titled “Communication Stream of Conspiracy Commerce,” was meant to “prove” Hillary’s claim that a “vast right wing conspiracy” was trying to destroy her and Bill. It also made to explain “the Internet influence.”

In 1998, Hillary appeared on NBC’s Today Show and said that a “vast right wing conspiracy” had been trying to destroy her husband “since the day he announced for president.”

Of course, her absurd claim became the joke of the decade and for years afterward conservatives were proud to belong to that “vast right win conspiracy.” The phrase became such a joke, though, that Clinton’s White House decided it had to “prove” the claim with a report linking that “conspiracy” all together.

Here is How Many Times Did Jay Leno Slam Clinton, Bush or Obama

-By Warner Todd Huston

With Jay Leno ending his 22-year stint as host of NBC’s Tonight Show this week, The Center for Media and Public Affairs took the time to add up how many times he made fun of Presidents Clinton, Bush and Obama and found that Clinton came in as the most ribbed Prez.

Bill Clinton rang in with 4,607 Tonight Show jokes making him the most joked about President. This might only make sense as Clinton was always there to make fun of since the first day Leno took over the show. While both Bush and Obama were around less time to serve as targets.

Maybe unsurprisingly, the next most slammed president was George W. Bush at 3,239 jokes. Next came Al Gore at 1,026 pokes with Obama coming in at 1,011. Hillary Clinton brought up fifth place with 939 jokes.

Senate Investigation Finds that Obama Could Have Prevented Benghazi Attacks

-By Warner Todd Huston

In Benghazi, Libya “Obama lied, people died.” That is the slogan that should dog this President for his actions–or lack thereof–during the attacks in Benghazi, Libya that killed four Americans. Now a Senate investigation shows that Obama could have prevented the attacks and saved those lives.

The Senate Intelligence Committee has finally released its report on the Benghazi attacks and it finds that Obama failed miserably to stop the attacks even though he and his subordinates could have.

The Senate Committee says the murderous attack on U.S. facilities in Libya could have been prevented and faults the State Department for failing to respond to the deteriorating security situation despite numerous warnings.

Hillary Clinton Keeps An Enemies List Included Ted Kennedy and John Kerry

-By Warner Todd Huston

Aides of Hillary Clinton’s 2008 Presidential campaign are reported to have kept a detailed list of enemy Democrats they felt betrayed Hillary by backing Barack Obama during that hard-fought primary campaign.

On the list were Senators John Kerry and Ted Kennedy, as well as Representatives Chris Van Hollen and Rob Andrews, all Democrats.

This news emerged from a new book titled, HRC: State Secrets and the Rebirth of Hillary Clinton.

She Still Takes a Villager — Hillary’s Authorship Lies

-By Warner Todd Huston

Venerable book publishers Simon and Schuster have announced that on December 12th they will be issuing a new edition of Hillary Clinton’s starry-eyed 1996 paean to socialist collectivism, It Takes a Village — starring none other than Mz. inevitability herself, Hillary Clinton. I’m sure the rafters will once again tremble with hosannas for Clinton’s “hard work” in writing the book and she will again be heralded as a wonderful stylist. All due praise will be lavished upon the former first lady, current Senator, and unsurprising candidate for the Democrat Party nomination for President of the United States of America.

Actually, I’ll have to take that back because Hillary won’t be receiving all due praise for her efforts on the book. She will be getting far, far more than she deserves. Why, you might ask? Because she wrote barely a word of the book that bears her name, that’s why. And worse, since 1996 Clinton has lied repeatedly claiming she wrote it all by herself, refusing to acknowledge that it was ghostwritten by someone else.

Still, the ersatz praise has already started. As seen on Amazon.com’s page for the book, Audiofile magazine recently said of the new edition, “For the most part, this is not the former first lady and presidential hopeful we all know. In a softer, almost neighborly voice, Clinton reveals intimate details about her childhood and the childhood of her husband.” This is really quite an observant review for the single fact that Clinton’s voice is altogether missing from the book. Of course the reason for that is that the harsh, shrill voice of the Hillary Clinton “we all know” was nowhere near the typewriter of Barbara Feinman Todd, the woman who really wrote the book.

But, where is the acknowledgment of the real writer of the book Hillary is famous for? Nowhere to be found, making Hillary more correctly infamous for the book instead of praiseworthy. A description of the book prior to the new edition’s release, one probably written by the publisher, says, “Written when Hillary Clinton was the First Lady, IT TAKES A VILLAGE acknowledges the many challenges and difficulties of raising children in America and proposes an ideal of broad community responsibility for the total upbringing of healthy and secure children. Clinton draws on her own experiences as a child, mother, and lawyer, as well as those of concerned parents, teachers, and advocates for children–and she takes the time to listen to the important lessons that children can teach adults as well.”

It’s interesting that they don’t exactly come out and say she wrote the thing, isn’t it?
