Munchausen’s by Proxy

-By Dan Scott

As a normal person viewing the entire taxation and government benefit program structure one could not blame them as concluding it is a Rube Goldberg approach to governance. Government policy or more accurately liberal policy is about taking money only to give it back in a convoluted scheme to somehow bring about equality. A myriad of taxes are taken at every level of business and personal activity. This is justified under the guise of government meeting the needs of the people. To decide whose needs the government should be serving, groups of people are stereotyped and assigned victim status being called the poor. The poor it is said needs the government to help them because poverty is not a choice but an accident of birth. The logic goes like this, if you were born with a silver spoon in your mouth, you obviously will want for nothing since your caretakers will meet all your needs and give you every advantage to succeed in life whether that be a guaranteed income for life, a job in the family business, a higher education to work a well paying job, good health care, etc. On the other hand if that same baby were born into a poor household, he/she would have none of those advantages and therefore is it unfair. Since America is a wealthy society, it falls upon society to make it fair by giving everyone a chance to be equally successful.

On the surface such an argument about equality may make some sense until you delve into it’s assumptions. The first assumption is about poverty and wealth being an accident. Neither is an accident, making bad financial decisions doesn’t make you wealthy nor does making good financial decisions make you poor. Success is a choice, not an accident. This is called sophistry, making false assertions using false arguments. It follows that parents are responsible for the care of their offspring and therefore how that parent carries out that responsibility affects the outcome. It is the parent’s responsibility to make good decisions that will benefit the child and themselves. The ability of a parent to give equal opportunity as another parent is an impossibility. The ability of one individual to be equal in every way (both mentally and physically) to another one let alone an entire nation of individuals is also impossible. Inequality is a fact of life and therefore to demand what is impossible is sophistry. The equality argument advanced by liberals is based on the fallacious impossible premise of total equality. The equality as advanced by the Constitution and Declaration of Independence is one of opportunity under the Law with limitations on “government’s ability” of giving one group or individual more to one than others.

Governor Blago’s Pit Bull’s Tactics

-By John Armor

Governor Rod Blagojevich has announced that he is going to “fight until I take my last breath,” in an effort to avoid impeachment by the Illinois legislature. But his first defense tactic came not from the Governor himself, but from his high-priced pit bull (excuse me, defense counsel). Criminal defense expert Ed Genson has attacked the Members of the Illinois House for even thinking about using the tapes made by federal agents on which the Governor, in foul-mouthed tirades, demanded bribes be paid to him or his wife, in return for his appointment of Barack Obama’s replacement in the US Senate.

What did Ed Genson say was wrong with the tapes? Did he deny that Governor Blago said what was on those tapes? No. Did he deny that the foul-mouhed demands made by Blago amount to the sale of his services as Governor for cash and other benefits? No. Did he deny that if Blago did this, he is unfit to remain as Governor of Illinois? No.

Attorney Genson said that use of the tapes by the Illinois House as part of the impeachment process would be “unconstitutional,” and therefore they shouldn’t use that evidence.

The New Deal Would Have Worked, If…

-By Thomas E. Brewton

Liberal-progressive-socialists again eagerly anticipate returning to the disastrously failed economic policies of Franklin Roosevelt. Apparently religious faith in socialism outweighs rational consideration of evidence.

The standard liberal-progressive-socialist litany is that socialism, in the New Deal and subsequent years, would have succeeded, if only the government had spent more money for a longer time.

Many liberals lament that the New Deal didn’t go far enough in socializing the economy. That was a major reason for the savage antagonism between the liberal establishment of the 1960s and the New Left student radicals like Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn, the spiritual parents of president-elect Obama’s educational policies.

Urging a Special Election for Senate in Illinois

Can the Ill. GOP FINALLY Find a Winning Issue?

As for me, I stand against voting for a Senator in the first place. I think the 17th Amendment was wrong to recreate the Constitution to have the people vote for Senators. Originally, the state legislature was to appoint a Senator from their state. There was no election as the position of Senator was supposed to be one that represented the state governments, not “the people.” The people were to be represented by the House of Reps and the President on the Federal level.

After Attacking McCain for Them, Suddenly Newsweek Finds Lobbyists Are Just Fine After All

-By Warner Todd Huston

During the recently completed presidential campaign, Newsweek’s Michael Isikoff was all excited over his “web exclusive” piece on staffers with the McCain campaign that had connections with past lobbying efforts. Back in those days Newsweek was all about the evils of those darn lobbyists. For their part, Obama supporters at the time ballyhooed the pledges that Barack Obama had made stating that his was going to be a kinder, gentler campaign, one that chased those evil lobbyists away. Phooey on those lobbyists, became the popular mantra. But, now that The One has made a successful and historic run for the Oval Office, Newsweek has suddenly discovered a newfound respect for that most venerable and important institution of lobbying.

That’s right, folks. Now lobbyists are “democracy in action” and as American as apple pie, dashikis and bailouts. According to Newsweek’s Robert J. Samuelson, if you are down on lobbyists, why, heck, you’re down on America itself!

This is, of course, quite a different attitude than Newsweek took when using its pages to beat down John McCain. In September, connections with lobbyists were enough to bring down a presidential candidate, yet by December they are the epitome of “democracy in action.” That is quite a head-spinning turn around, wouldn’t you say?

Obama’s “Natural Born” Problem

-By David Huntwork

By now you are probably aware that there have been a multitude of lawsuits filed in regards to the question of whether or not President-elect Barack Obama is in fact eligible under the “natural born” provision of the Constitution of the United States of America to be the President of the United States (POTUS).

The Constitutional provisions are very specific when it comes to the minimal qualifications for President. One is to be over thirty-five. He is. Two, is being in the country fourteen years. He has been. Three, is to be a natural-born citizen. The latter remains unproven, a matter of contention, and appears to be increasingly unlikely to be true.

When Did Illinois Stop Being America?

-By Warner Todd Huston

This debacle of Governor Rod Blagojevich endeavoring to sell a U.S. Senate seat for mere personal enrichment proves once and for all that the state of Illinois is no longer an American state. It is so far around the bend that there is no longer any legitimacy to either the state or any local government. Illinois is no better than the worst banana republic.

We have arrived at a time when lucrative state posts have been multiplied without necessity, when people have become pensioners of the state without bounds, and government is the single largest employer summarily supplanting any hint of capitalism. We are mired in a universal policy of governing by bribery and corruption, with all businesses being ignored and trampled under the foot of regulators and their open palms. All offices here are bought and sold at extravagant prices and the debt for this thievery is laid on the shoulders of the people with the highest taxes in the country.

Yet, even as the money flows uninhibited into the pockets of our “elected” officials in both parties, Illinois is falling apart. Roads, bridges, hospitals and schools are crumbling and those that have been built are of the lowest quality because so much of the money has gone to grasping unions, bribes and graft.

Media Forgets That Wall Street Rip Off Artist is BIG Democrat Donor

-By Warner Todd Huston

The wires services and the rest of the Old Media have also been reporting on a scandal that doesn’t have to do with Illinois Governor, Rod Blagojevich. But, like the Blago story line, the media seem to be forgetting one small aspect of the story of Wall Street rip off artist Bernard Madoff. Like Blago, Madoff’s connections to the Democrat Party seem to be of little interest to the media.

Very few media stories of the fraud perpetrated by former Nasdaq chairman Madoff mentions the heavy financial support that Madoff has donated to the Democrat Party. Campaign contributions by Madoff show many thousands of dollars going to Democrat candidates and causes. Including $100,000 to the Democratic Senatorial Campaign, thousands to Charles Rangel (D, NY), Charles Schumer (D, NY), and $6,000 to the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association. Madoff also gave generously to Senator Frank Lautenberg (D, NJ) who runs a charitable foundation that invested with Madoff.

Jefferson and Obama’s Birth Certificate: My Reply to Michael Gaynor

-By Warner Todd Huston

On Tuesday morning of December 10, I sent out my piece titled “Thomas Jefferson says forget about Barack’s birth certificate.” I was sure it would raise the hackles of those vested in the Barack Obama birth certificate issue, abbreviated as COLB (certificate of live birth) by those so inclined to care about it. Boy was I right. My email has been stuffed with accusations that I hate the Constitution or am secretly an Obama supporter despite that in my original piece I clearly called the man a socialist whom I didn’t want in the Oval Office.

But, I felt we need an actual discussion, not of Obama’s birth itself, but of the Constitutional, electoral, and philosophical issues that underlay the debate. Fortunately, Michael Gaynor of RenewAmerica.us obliged. To that end and to his piece, I’d like to take some time to reply here, being sure to thank him for at least allowing that I was “well-intentioned” with my original consideration of the matter.

Unfortunately, Mr. Gaynor starts out right off the top with a misconception of what I am saying and it misinforms his entire take on my piece. He writes:

AP’s Emotive Language For Gov. Rod Blagojevich

-By Warner Todd Huston

Evidence in abundance of AP’s new “style” of news coverage.

Not long ago, the Associated Press informed its writers that they should be more emotive in their writing. Instead of an old newsy just-the-facts style of reporting, then AP was looking to goose it up and add more opinion and emotion to its reporting of the “news.” Well, with the story of the arrest of corruption plagued Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich and his connection to Illinois Senator and president in waiting Barack Obama, the emotive words flow fast and furious. This incident serves as an interesting example of the APs new more emotive style.

For instance, for the AP Sharon Cohen gives us a piece headlined “Illinois governor’s arrest stuns politicos.” This piece tries to force upon Blago’s fellow Illinois politicians a sort of “shock” in response to Blago’s arrest. But, while some politicians and FBI officials expressed disappointment and a sort of faux shock, no one in Illinois or Chicago politics is really shocked that Blago is finally under arrest. It has been building for several years at this point and for most folks in Illinois at all aware of the situation, it was a matter of when Blago was going to get picked up by the feds, not if. There really isn’t much genuine shock and it is hyperbole to say there is. Truth be told, instead of real shock, it is more like weariness. (Even this AP piece featuring a series of quotes from Illinois politicians doesn’t reveal any of them being “shocked.”)

Ill. Governor Arrested by Feds, Media Ignored Connection To Obama

-By Warner Todd Huston

Media ignored Guv’s party today, but also links to Rezko corruption and Barack Obama and his chief strategist David Axelrod during presidential campaign.

As folks in Illinois were waking up or just getting to work, news hit like an avalanche that Governor Rod Blagojevich had been taken into custody by federal authorities this morning. The news was flying hot and heavy, and still is, over what the feds are alleging that Blago (as we call him in Chicago) did. There are reports of wiretaps, solicitations for bribes, mail and wire fraud… the list is long and shocking.

But one thing seems to be missing from many of these news reports. You guessed it, the fact that Blago is a Democrat seems to have slipped under the radar. But also his connections to Obama and his associates has continually gone unnoticed.

Now, as usual, we cannot really smack around the home papers or TV reports. After all, people in Chicago and Illinois already know that their governor is a Democrat. But it is the news wires and outlets outside Illinois that should be questioned.

Thomas Jefferson Says Forget About Barack’s Birth Certificate

-By Warner Todd Huston

Well. I am sure that this is going to anger some of you. But, I have to say it anyway…

OK, I have basically stayed silent about this whole Obama birth certificate dust up until now because I have been trying to resolve the dichotomy in my mind between being a Constitutional constructionist and a pragmatist. But, at long last I have realized that the two really aren’t as much at odds as it might seem. In fact, I found my answer in the words of Thomas Jefferson — as well as Madison, Franklin and a few others, but we’ll stick with Jefferson quotes for the sake of a sharply focused discussion.

I have discovered that Thomas Jefferson has already told us upon which side we as conservatives should descend over the question concerning Barack Obama’s birth certificate and his eligibility for the office of president of the United States. Mister Jefferson would tell you all to shut up, accept cruel fate, and get ready to claim Barack Obama as the 44th president of the United States of America.

That’s right, forget about it. Move on. Nothing to see here.

Before you get your Constitutional shorts in a bunch, I absolutely agree with you that we are a nation of laws and not men. Jefferson did too, once saying that we must consider what the original intent of the Constitution was before we rush into a decision and the original intent in this case was clearly to make sure every president was a natural born citizen of this country before being eligible to run for that highest of offices. (“The Constitution on which our Union rests, shall be administered … according to the safe and honest meaning contemplated by the plain understanding of the people of the United States at the time of its adoption — a meaning to be found in the explanations of those who advocated [for it]…”– Thomas Jefferson)

Has Joe Biden EVER Read the Constitution?

-By Warner Todd Huston

The Politico reported recently that the Democrat majority intends to “restore” the “proper” role of the vice president once Obama is sworn into office. They claim that they will somehow roll back the power that Cheney “stole” from Congress and that Biden will not be allowed as much leeway as Cheney was.

Of course, it’s all well and good that what the vice president can or cannot do is reassessed from time to time. It is certainly up to each administration how to use its vice president and, to a certain degree, for Congress to assist the administration to set that role. Many vice presidents have had almost no role at all in the administration, still others have had a little while a few have comparatively had a lot of powers and duties.

Unsurprisingly, Illegal Deported for Armed Robbery Finds NYT in His Corner

-By Warner Todd Huston

A criminal without legal status deported by US immigration officials is the subject of the latest pity party thrown by The New York Times. The Times seems to find it lamentable that this gang member and armed robber was deported from “his homeland” — that would be the USA — to Cambodia, the land of his birth (one he left when he was a 3-year-old). Why does the NYTimes bemoan the deportation of this thug? Why would he make a fine American despite his criminal history? He can dance, man!

The Times waxed maudlin that their friend “K.K.” was deported at 26-years of age ending up in Cambodia, a land with which he was quite unfamiliar. Apparently, the Times feels “K.K.” is doing wonderful work there, though, by teaching Cambodian street kids how to street dance. Yes, despite that he is a “former gang member” and convicted felon, the Times thinks he’s a swell fellow because he is bringing “a little slice of Long Beach, Calif.” to street kids in Cambodia.

Why the POTUS Needs to Be a Natural-Born Citizen

-By Frank Salvato

The Founders and Framers were incredibly intelligent people. In fact, they operated, intellectually, at a grade 24 level, grade 12 equating to the senior year in high school. Therefore, it shouldn’t come as any surprise that each Article and Amendment – each tenet – in The Charters of Freedom was painstakingly examined, debated, reviewed and, finally, included. Article II, Section 1 of the United States Constitution – the Article that clearly states the qualifications for holding the office of President of the United States – is no different.

To be clear, I have no decided position on whether or not President-Elect Barack Obama is a natural-born citizen or otherwise. I believe that we – as a people – need to base our understanding on any and every issue on the facts. But in the case of Mr. Obama’s status of natural-born citizenship there are too many unanswered questions and not enough transparency where the facts are concerned. For a candidate who ran his presidential campaign on the promise of transparency, Mr. Obama has proven in the earliest moments of his executive tenure that transparency is subjective.

The most troubling of the troublesome questions is why Mr. Obama didn’t immediately release his vaulted, original birth certificate for examination. This act would have not only eliminated a potential stumbling block for his campaign, but it would have certified his eligibility for the office of President of the United States and saved the taxpayers the cost of judicial intervention. Instead, under the pretext of visiting an ailing grandmother in Hawaii just days before the 2008 Presidential Election, Mr. Obama had his vaulted, original birth certificate sealed by Hawaii’s governor, Linda Lingle (D).

Why Google lost the formal debate over its ethics — And a compendium of Google’s ethical lapses

-By Scott Cleland

Google effectively lost its first formal debate over whether “Google violates its own ‘Don’t Be Evil’ motto” at the Rosenkranz Foundation’s Oxford-style debate in New York City, November 18. (Transcript here)

Before the debate the audience was polled and voted 21% against Google and 48% for Google; after gathering additional insight from the debate, 47% voted against Google and 47% voted for Google. Apparently, most all of the undecideds voted against Google — that Google violated their own ‘don’t be evil’ motto.

What does this mean?

Democrats Hate Privacy Invaders. Unless…

-By Warner Todd Huston

It is interesting to see how Democrats react to abuse of power and invasion of private personal information. The Democratic Party made President Bush a pariah over his supposed act of “domestic spying” when Bush was attempting to stop terror attacks against citizens of the U.S. They called him all manner of names, tyrant, despot, etc., etc., even though no Americans were being snooped on by the Bush administration. And just recently, Democrats tsked tsked Verizon Wireless when it came to light that Barack Obama’s old cell phone records were snooped into by Verizon employees.

But, did they say a word as agency after agency in Ohio illicitly snooped into Joe the Plumber’s records so that they could find dirt with which to attack him? Did the Democrats find anything wrong with agencies and employees from the government of the state of Ohio illegally prying into the private records of Samuel “Joe the plumber” Wurzelbacher? Not much they didn’t.

Nation’s Capital Implements Measures Violating Rights & Property

-By Frederick Meekins

As the nation’s capital, Washington DC is often looked to for various approaches on how to handle a number of growing issues around the country. Usually government eggheads like to formulate their grandiose schemes from their comfortable halls of power and impose them upon areas of the heartland so far from scrutinizing eyes that very few end up seeing what is actually going on. However, there are now a number of policies being implemented within the city that will soon be at the forefront of efforts to undermine life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

In the episode of “Star Trek: Deep Space Nine” titled “Past Tense”, areas called Sanctuary Districts were established in mid-21st century America as places in major cities in which to corral the economically challenged irrespective of their criminal status. Though initially established in the name of the well being of those assigned to reside there, according to the entry at Star Trek Wiki Memory Alpha, “This internment, in fact, amounted to nothing less than imprisonment.”

Penn. Democrat: ‘Who Really Cares’ About the Constitution?

-By Warner Todd Huston

Democrats do not see the Constitution as a limit on their actions. In fact, Democrats don’t see any rules or laws as limits on what they think they can do. They imagine that they can do anything they want no matter what the law says. Democrats are essentially lawless creatures.

Further proof of this came this week in the Pittsburgh City Council during the debate on an unconstitutional gun bill the city was trying to institute. After the lopsided vote was over — with the anti-constitution side winning — Councilman Tonya Payne told everyone that would listen that she didn’t care about the U.S. Constitution.

“Who really cares about it being unconstitutional? This is what’s right to do, and if this means that we have to go out and have a court battle, then that’s fine.”

What more can be said? Democrats hate the Constitution, hate the law, and want to rule their constituents by fiat. This is a universal idea in Democrat circles across the country.

Giving Marriage Back to the Church

-By Frank Salvato

Across the country the issue of “gay marriage” is being debated, examined, voted on and legislated. Groups, both pro and con, have taken to the streets from Massachusetts and Connecticut to both ends of California to express their support and opposition to legislating finality to this issue. While the answer to this ideological impasse may indeed come from legislation, it may come in an unexpected form and require those on both sides of the issue to dial back on their own self-importance.

At the risk of leaving many a religious person’s mouth agape, I don’t have a problem with people who have declared themselves homosexual. Having spent many years of my young adulthood in the entertainment industry I came to know many good, honest, hardworking, patriotic people who had come to the conclusion that they were gay. While this is not a lifestyle I choose to embrace for myself, because I believe in the concepts of “liberty” and “the pursuit of happiness” I find it hard to pass judgment on someone’s lifestyle when their actions do not affect my liberty or pursuit of happiness.

Slummin’ with Barry

-By Michael M. Bates

Mrs. Clinton assumed full taunting mode in a January Democratic presidential candidate debate. She aggressively battled “bad” Republican ideas, she told Obama, “when you were practicing law and representing your contributor, Rezko, in his slumlord business in inner-city Chicago.”

Obama feebly replied he was merely an associate at a law firm that represented a church group working with “this individual” and had done a few hours legal work. Hillary could have attacked Obama for accepting political contributions from Tony Rezko at the same time the real estate wheeler-dealer victimized African-Americans struggling for survival in his properties’ squalid living conditions.

It’s a persistent situation. Barry’s a millionaire, yet seems unable or unwilling to shake his connection with slums.

Homosexual Mob Prove they are Fascist Jerks!

-By Don Boys, Ph.D.

I’m very weary of seeing perverts strut the streets exposing their venom, vileness, and violence toward all who dare disagree with their lifestyle. Or is that death style? Recently WorldNetDaily did an article on a college class president who did not “fully” support the perverted lifestyle of a fellow student. Note that there was no charge of discrimination but it was an opinion that the decent living person did not accept the perversion to the degree that satisfied the pervert! Has the world gone crazy?

Yesterday, WND reported on Christians who were singing in San Francisco’s Castro (homosexual) District and were surrounded by a mob of 500 homosexuals threatening to kill them. One man grabbed a woman’s Bible and hit her over the head with it. The mob chanted, “Shame, shame, shame.” Homosexuals shouting “shame” to praying, singing Christians is like a skunk accusing a rabbit of having bad breath.

The Pinball Bailout?

-By John Armor

Is the proposed bailout of the “big three” auto makers really for them? Or is it something else entirely?

Here I sit in a farmhouse on the Eastern Continental Divide. From my front porch, I can see most of upstate South Carolina. In that territory are several auto manufacturing plants that are doing just fine, thank-you-very-much. To my left, or west, is the Tennessee border. Over those mountains are several more auto plants which are quite healthy, also.

So, let’s chuck in the trash the idea that auto manufacturing in the US is failing generally. It isn’t. It is just the “big three” American manufacturers. Properly, it should be called the “big two and a half,” since Chrysler is in the bucket, once again.

A Classic Case of Leftist Bias From Reuters on Obama’s Coming Judges

-By Warner Todd Huston

We’ve seen some major cases of left leaning bias in the media, especially during the late presidential campaign. Many of these cases have been blatant and over-the-top in style but, while covering the brazen cases of such bias, it is easy to forget that there are every day cases of the more subtle bias to the left in the media. Today, we have a perfect example of a more subtle left leaning bias in the media with a Reuters story headlined “Obama likely to push courts away from right.” In it there are lies, distortions and tricky wording all used to pat Barack Obama on the back for his assumed sharp turn to the left he’ll take as he appoints judges during his forthcoming presidency. The same tricks of the trade are used to attack George Bush and conservatives for their judicial turn to the right these last eight years.

The headline, of course, is a classic example of leftist bias. Just take a look at the language: “Obama likely to push courts away from right.” More properly this headline should read: “Obama likely to push courts to the left.” But, notice that instead of saying “push to the left,” they say “push away from the right.” This gives Obama cover for what he’s really doing and takes the emotional impact away from the fact that Obama is, indeed, going to veer to the left by placing the negative connotation on the right. Reuters is assuring people that Obama ISN’T going left, no, no, no, he’s only going “away” from the right!

The first paragraph continues to use words that soften Obama’s shift to the left while highlighting Bush’s actions in harsher terms.

NY Activist Caught in Ohio Vote Fraud Claims Innocence

-By Warner Todd Huston

On Oct. 30, I reported on the vote fraud perpetrated in Ohio by Democrat activist Amy Little from New York. Miss Little, at the time a paid consultant of New York representative John Hall (D-Dover Plains, NY), had registered to vote in Ohio for the 2008 elections. But, the address she was using was not a home or apartment. It was the address of the storefront headquarters of a leftist get-out-the-vote group.

Ohio voting law states that to register to vote in Ohio one must be a resident, not a visitor. Miss Little has a permanent home in New Platz, New York and has no intention of becoming a resident of Ohio, therefore her registration in Ohio clearly broke the law.

When news got out of her attempt to defraud Ohio, she was fired by her political boss in New York and her voter registration in Ohio voided.

But, here is the newest wrinkle in the tale. Little claims she’s innocent of any wrong doing. Imagine that… a Democrat that refuses to admit lawbreaking. Hard to believe, I know.

More ‘Voters’ Than Actual Adult Residents in Missouri?

-By Warner Todd Huston

The AP is reporting that more than a dozen Missouri counties have found that they suddenly have more registered voters than eligible adult citizens this year. And the worst one? Well, no surprise it is Democrat controlled St. Louis County.

A statistical analysis by The Associated Press compared county voter rolls with U.S. Census Bureau estimates for the number of adults age 18 and older in each county. Fourteen of the state’s 114 counties had more registered voters than voting-age adults. Several others had registration rolls almost equal to their adult populations.

The AP finds that in “St. Louis County there are 796,979 registered voters, of which 715,195 are considered active voters and the rest inactive. The estimated voting-age population is 762,657.”

Governor Warns of Massive Vote Fraud in Missouri

-By Warner Todd Huston

A few days ago, Missouri Governor Matt Blunt issued a warning to the state that, contrary to recent claims, vote fraud was happening in Missouri.

Gov. Blunt reminded everyone that he’d became Sec. of State right after the 2000 election and investigated the massive fraud that happened in that election and he sees it all happening again, especially in St. Louis.

Contrary to assertions that voter fraud has not occurred in Missouri, my report found that well over 1,000 improper ballots were cast in St. Louis City and St. Louis County. Further my report found that there was in St. Louis an organized and successful effort to generate improper votes in large numbers.

And guess what organization Blunt found was responsible for vote fraud in 2006?

The Terrorist Attack of 2010

-By Selwyn Duke

The date is November 9, 2010, and you turn on the radio to listen to the news over morning coffee. Economic times have been tough, and you’re not expecting much to uplift the soul. Yet, what you hear still makes your blood run cold.

Nuclear devices have been detonated almost simultaneously in New York City, Chicago and Los Angeles. Tens of thousands are dead or dying, and millions more are being evacuated, owing to radioactive contamination that will now make huge swaths of the cities uninhabitable.

President Obama is currently on the air addressing the nation. Everything he says sounds reassuring and mellifluous, just like it always does, just like it always has. Right now he is talking about the emergency response and government efforts to help the victims and apprehend the perpetrators. He speaks of how we must pray for our fellow Americans.

More information will be forthcoming, and we will see his calm countenance on TV and hear his resonant, composed voice again. Of that you can be sure.

But there is something he won’t tell us.

There is something he will never tell us.
