High Schoolers Taught ‘There’s a Whole World Full of Different Genders’

-By Warner Todd Huston

Apparently most of us were ill served by our high school education. But, don’t worry, our children will have that fixed for them. You see, we oldsters were thoroughly misinformed into thinking that there was only two genders in the human animal: male and female. But now, through the wonders of the modern, radical re-education racket, comes the new-new way of seeing “a whole world out there full of different genders.”

Confused? Well, that’s because the radical gender lobby hasn’t gotten hold of your schooling like it has in Vermont where high schoolers are exposed to the fantasy science of “gender studies.” That’s right, now our kids will be taught that there’s far, far more to gender than male and female. And guess what? Your tax dollars are paying for this tripe. It’s “Gendertopia,” folks and it’s funded by an extreme homosexual advocacy group called Outright Vermont in conjunction with Vermont’s Burlington School District.

Another Entertainer Shows Historical Ignorance

-By Warner Todd Huston

Rob Thomas, singer/songwriter and front man for the band Matchbox 20, has successfully proven an old adage: Don’t Keep quiet and let people think you’re a fool. Open your mouth and remove all doubt. He has also shown us all that the American system of education is in pretty sorry shape. But, one thing is sure, Mr. Thomas “feels good” about himself, so he’s got that whole self esteem thing down nicely. Sadly, he lacks some basis for the conceit.

In a Huffington Post entry from May 27, Thomas made to ingratiate himself with the cool, the hip, and the terminally liberal by tooting his I-love-me-teh-gay horn. Most of his entry is banal, uninventive, and prosaic, but the part that most needs to be addressed is his horrible understanding of American history. Of course, his lack of historical understanding is also pretty commonplace for his ilk: those in the Hollyweird/entertainment field. Unfortunately, it is also common among far too many other Americans, ones not trying to sound perpetually hip because they loves them teh gays.

WaPo Website Merges Photos of Gays With Mormon Church Fire Story

-By Warner Todd Huston

A 60-year-old Mormon Church in Massachusetts burned to the ground on Sunday, May 17. A story about the incident appeared in the Washington Post that same day. It’s an AP entry discussing the fire that chased worshippers out of the building in a panic on Sunday. But it is accompanied by a rather odd choice of images. Is it a photo of the fire-damaged church? Perhaps it is a snap of frightened churchgoers or a resolute minister vowing to rebuild? Well, none of those really.

The odd choice of photos accompanying the story of a fire at a Mormon Church is one of gay couples that “brought a lawsuit” over gay marriage in Massachusetts.

One might wonder what the heck a photo of gays has to do with a church burning down? The answer seems to be that the Washington Post doesn’t seem to think there is any time that isn’t suitable to attack the Mormon Church over its opposition to gay marriage. Yes, the Post turned this simple story of a fire into an excuse to play politics.

CNN/Oprah.com: Calls Sudden Lesbian Syndrome a ‘New’ Trend Without Any Proof

-By Warner Todd Huston

Oprah.com and CNN have decided that there is a growing “new” trend in American sexual relations. The two Internet giants have teamed up and have decided that increasingly “women are leaving men for other women.” Shocking news, I know. Only one little problem. Oprah.com has no proof for any such proclamation.

After the shocking headline and the first three paragraphs proclaiming a new lesbian revolution in America today, though, the piece admits that there are no real statistics to prove the thesis. The whole claim is merely based on the anecdotal stories of the “experts” that Oprah.com dug up to substantiate the tale.

ACLU: Know What WE Need? Schools That Are Like Porn Shops

-By Warner Todd Huston

Most people imagine that our schools are to be institutes of higher learning. Apparently the ACLU has a little different conception of what “higher learning” means because it is demanding that public schools in Nashville, Tennessee allow gay advocacy sites to go unblocked at library Internet stations throughout the Metro Nashville District.

The porn peddlers of the ACLU have given the Metro schools a “deadline” of April 29 to reverse its Internet policies or they take the issue before the courts.

Detroit Free Press: Know What we Need? Reparations for Gays

-By Warner Todd Huston

Our friend from Detroit, Jacob Appel, thinks that gays need government reparations and the Detroit Free Press was so enamored of his idea that it published his plea in its April 7 issue. One has a suspicion that they missed a deadline because this story would have more properly been published on April 1, a day well known as April Fool’s Day. This one simply must be a joke.

Appel is so filled with absurd pronouncements, anti-hetero bias, and outright hatred in his piece that one simply cannot take his central thesis seriously. But his mode of thinking here does highlight the illogic of his position on the issue, so it is instructive to review it.

Appel begins with a heresy that I think should make black Americans infuriated when he lumps the history of homosexuals in America with that of black American’s oppression during slavery. He feels that one day the “struggle” of gays in America will be seen as “unspeakable and inexplicable to my grandchildren as counting a slave as three-fifths of a human being.”

Suddenly One Morning, Tyranny

-By Marie Jon’

Imagine waking up one morning prepared to do your daily Bible study and discovering that Exodus Chapter 20 had been completely erased. The Ten Commandments were missing. Of course, you would wonder what possibly could have happened.

You then become panicked as you quickly turn to the New Testament, only to discover that the Sermon on the Mount had vanished as well. The verse about loving one’s enemy was gone. Even the Golden Rule had disappeared. Upon closer examination, you discover that every guideline concerning living a better way of life was gone.

What Richard Cranium Came Up With THIS Program?

– By Warner Todd Huston

This year, the City of San Francisco is spending $122,575 in scarce budget dollars to grow the “Healthy Penis” campaign. No advocates of flaccid government, THIS city council, I gotta tell you! Only a good stiff effort will do.

So what is the “Healthy Penis” campaign? It’s a city wide effort to drive a stake in the heart of syphilis in the Bay Area, that’s what. Yes, Mayor Gavin Newsom wants to give the shaft to VD and he’s willing to screw the budget to get it done.

We all stand against a fowled phallus, of course, but is over $120,000 in these harsh economic times a cost worth pounding out of the budget? I mean, is this the sort of thing we should be yanking money out of City Hall for?

Gay Activist From Georgia Busted for Kiddie Porn

-By Warner Todd Huston

Tennessee — Winchester authorities announced their success at shutting down a major international child porn operation in middle Tennessee this month that netted them one Gary Salles from Atlanta, Georgia. Salles is a long time gay activist and organizer of various charity operations for gays in Atlanta. He is also a self-professed pedophile.

Salles claims he is a photographer from Atlanta and is well known as a dance club photographer in the Atlanta gay community. Instead of legitimate photos, though, what got Salles in trouble was child pornography.

Our Country’s Moral and Spiritual Crossroads: Same-Sex Marriage

-By Marie Jon’

Our country is facing a spiritual crossroads that could spell the end of traditional marriage and family life. Christianity is being encroached upon by those within the gay community. Many of these people are “part and parcel” of the same crowd who wish to remove God from the public arena because our Creator has plenty to say about their “chosen lifestyle.” If their lifestyle were not by choice, God would not call homosexuality a sin. “God is not man, that he should lie, or a son of man, that he should change his mind” (Numbers 23:19).

The good news is that people who are caught up in this sin can change and free themselves with the help of God. Stephen Bennett was a homosexual man. He has been happily married to his wife Irene for over 15 years. They have two wonderful children. The Bennett family has traveled the world sharing the Lord’s story of redemption and forgiveness. God is the re-creator of lives and true change.

Because the Almighty is loving, He does not mince words. The Lord is all about redeeming the lost. Within the scriptures, God often uses brutal honesty to point to the seriousness and the consequences of our actions. Here is what is found in the Book of Romans pertaining to homosexuality:

Giving Marriage Back to the Church

-By Frank Salvato

Across the country the issue of “gay marriage” is being debated, examined, voted on and legislated. Groups, both pro and con, have taken to the streets from Massachusetts and Connecticut to both ends of California to express their support and opposition to legislating finality to this issue. While the answer to this ideological impasse may indeed come from legislation, it may come in an unexpected form and require those on both sides of the issue to dial back on their own self-importance.

At the risk of leaving many a religious person’s mouth agape, I don’t have a problem with people who have declared themselves homosexual. Having spent many years of my young adulthood in the entertainment industry I came to know many good, honest, hardworking, patriotic people who had come to the conclusion that they were gay. While this is not a lifestyle I choose to embrace for myself, because I believe in the concepts of “liberty” and “the pursuit of happiness” I find it hard to pass judgment on someone’s lifestyle when their actions do not affect my liberty or pursuit of happiness.

“The legitimate powers of government extend to such acts only as are injurious to others.” – Thomas Jefferson

Homosexual Mob Prove they are Fascist Jerks!

-By Don Boys, Ph.D.

I’m very weary of seeing perverts strut the streets exposing their venom, vileness, and violence toward all who dare disagree with their lifestyle. Or is that death style? Recently WorldNetDaily did an article on a college class president who did not “fully” support the perverted lifestyle of a fellow student. Note that there was no charge of discrimination but it was an opinion that the decent living person did not accept the perversion to the degree that satisfied the pervert! Has the world gone crazy?

Yesterday, WND reported on Christians who were singing in San Francisco’s Castro (homosexual) District and were surrounded by a mob of 500 homosexuals threatening to kill them. One man grabbed a woman’s Bible and hit her over the head with it. The mob chanted, “Shame, shame, shame.” Homosexuals shouting “shame” to praying, singing Christians is like a skunk accusing a rabbit of having bad breath.

12News, Florida: Marriage is ‘Controversial’ In Florida

-By Warner Todd Huston

A short section of the run down of the winning and losing Amendments in Florida contained a perfect example of liberal slant. In this case, a Channel 12 News piece reports on the passage of Amendment Two, an assurance that marriage shall be defined as between one man and one woman only. (For a full definition of Amendment Two, see Ballotpedia.org)

As far as News 12 is concerned, Amendment Two is “the most controversial, but it sure doesn’t seem like the people of Florida agree with channel 12 — which is a bit of a controversy in itself there.

AIDS is 100 Years Old? So Much for Conspiracy Theories

-By Warner Todd Huston

Negroists — that would be people who think “black” first, instead of American first — have posited for years that the U.S. government created AIDS to kill blacks and keep them down. But now geneticists are discovering that the HIV virus is at least 100 years old. That would sort of blow the ridiculous conspiracy theory out of the water, wouldn’t it? (And it would be contrary to what Barack Obama’s “spiritual adviser” Reverend Jeremiah Wright has said.)

According to a new report “The AIDS virus has been circulating among people for about 100 years, decades longer than scientists had thought, a new study suggests… Genetic analysis pushes the estimated origin of HIV back to between 1884 and 1924, with a more focused estimate at 1908.”

The researchers also said that it isn’t a surprise to find HIV is that old.

Experts say it’s no surprise that HIV circulated in humans for about 70 years before being recognized. An infection usually takes years to produce obvious symptoms, a lag that can mask the role of the virus, and it would have infected relatively few Africans early in its spread, they said.

Once again, we find that the wild-eyed conspiracy theorists are fools, easily led, and not very bright.

Brokeback ‘Irritation’

-By Warner Todd Huston

The author of the famous gay cowboy story that the movie Brokeback Mountain was based on says the story is a “source of constant irritation” in her life. Apparently her porn addled fans keep sending her re-writes of the lurid tale made even more lurid with amped up porn scenes added.

To many in the gay community, Brokeback Mountain is insufficiently “gay” enough. Apparently, these people want it to be a wild tale of cowboy queens in everyone’s face infused with wild abandon. Instead of what the author wanted it to be, these people want it to be more akin to some San Francisco Gay Pride parade writ literati.

Author Annie Prouix told the Wall Street Journal that she is sick of the whole thing.

The Death of Shame

-By Warner Todd Huston

There was once a day in America when a convicted child molester might find that his life was ruined, dogged forever by the shame of his evil deeds. Today, though, one might be a child molester on one hand, but a celebrated member of the community for being a great kid’s little league umpire on the other. Such a skunk might even find that he is given awards for his efforts behind the plate despite his serving behind bars.

For this is a day when shame has been killed.

Can anyone imagine a lower human being than someone who would force themselves upon a child, physically and mentally raping them, forcing them to deal with the shame and fear of it for the rest of their lives?

Unfortunately, the folks of the little league umpire association in Torrington, Connecticut can’t seem to imagine why anyone would find a child molester such a bad fellow. Because, instead of heaping shame on one that is in their midst, they’ve raised him up to celebrate his life’s deeds.

The Torrington Board of Approved Baseball Umpires, at least, feels that convicted child molester Tom Barbero is a fine example of the umpire’s art. They think so much of him that they’ve given him an award for his umpiring because he “deserves” such recognition.

Oh, sure Barbero was convicted and sentenced to four years behind bars and 35 years probation for sexually molesting three teenaged boys in 1994 and 1995. But, hey, he was a great ump, nonetheless.

Oh, Those Hate Filled, UnAmerican Gays

-By Warner Todd Huston

Isn’t it grand that in the United States of America you are free to hold a political position or affiliation, free to donate your money to any political party you desire, and not lose your job over it? The United States has always been the epitome of freedom of political speech.

… unless you are a gay guy that wants to support John McCain. In that case, all bets are off.

At least this is what a fellow named Jonathan Crutchley discovered when he decided that John McCain would be a better president in this age of Jihadi terror and donated $2,300 to McCain’s campaign. Apparently, freedom of political choice is not allowed in gay circles.

You see, Mr. Crutchley happens to be the chairman of the board that runs a gay dating site named Manhunt. And the intolerant gays surrounding him have forced him to quit his job. To be sure, Crutchley didn’t donate company money and didn’t make any announcements that his gay website was sponsoring his efforts or McCain’s. It was a personal donation quietly made with his own money.

Yet here is what the hate filled gays in his company have officially said of him:

Paper Makes Bigot of Principal Who Resigns Over High School’s ‘Gay Club’

-By Warner Todd Huston

A small paper in South Carolina called The Statesman indulged in some blatant hetero bashing this week in a story about a high school principal who resigned because of his convictions that the school should not allow a homosexual club to be started in his school. Naturally, the paper tries to make it seem as if the principal is an unreasonable bigot. The paper even conveniently forgot the part of the principal’s resignation letter that clearly explains why he disagreed with allowing a club based on sexual activity in a high school — and the explanation had nothing to do with any anti-gay sentiment.

The headline of the piece, “Irmo principal to resign after gay club approved for school,” frames this as if homosexuality was the only issue here but that is only an ancillary problem as far as the principal is concerned. The first line of the story affirms that the paper views the principal as a bigot.

The principal of Irmo High School has opted to resign rather than share his campus with an organization for gay students.

How rude of Principal Eddie Walker, eh? The headline seems to scream “what’s this guy’s problem?”

The Statesman also allows the controversy to be framed as a “civil rights” issue, even though it is no such thing.

Gay-rights group Faith in America says Walker’s decision is based on prejudice that is harmful to students and likened his decision to policies that once allowed segregation to flourish.

Now we are likening keeping a sex club out of a high school with “segregation”? Talk about absurd and dangerous hyperbole.

Toledo Free Press Article Gets University Employee Fired

-By Warner Todd Huston

We are certainly used to seeing the MSM causing trouble for conservatives and this one is no different at least on that level. But the interesting thing here is that the trouble a social conservative discovered was as a result of what she wrote in the MSM as opposed to what was written about her by the MSM. It seems that the opinion editorial written by Crystal Dixon for the Toledo Free Press got her fired by the University of Toledo because… well, you know how universities are all about free expression and speech, right? Unfortunately for Dixon, though, hers wasn’t the proper, politically correct sort of speech that is officially approved of by the thugs at the University of Toledo.

You see, Crystal Dixon made the mistake of believing that this whole silly idea of “freedom of religion” also applied to our institutions of higher learning. She foolishly asserted in her Toledo Free Press op ed that as far as her religious beliefs are concerned, homosexuality is a choice made by the individual instead of some genetic predisposition, that someone chooses to engage in homosexual activities instead of assuming that being gay is forced upon one by “nature.”

Of course, Dixon based her entire op ed on her Christian religious beliefs. It was no hate filled rant and was quite civil, even tempered, and to the point. But the gay mafia inside the University of Toledo must be awfully powerful. Or, at the very least, fear of them was enough to stifle — no, execute — Mrs. Dixon over what the president of UoT must imagine is her wretched religious extremism.

President Dr. Lloyd Jacobs dashed off a letter summarily firing Mrs. Dixon from her $134,383 a year job as associate vice president for employee resources.

All Sex, All The Time

-By Nancy Morgan

American culture is starting to resemble a teen-ager obsessed with bathroom jokes. Only America’s focus is riveted on sex. All sex, all the time. From Britney’s panties, to Anna Nicole’s lovers, to transgender rights to forced acceptance of homosexuality. If a story deals with sex, it sells.

The focus on sex, while prurient and titillating, has wider implications that have been overlooked. They involve redefining the family and undermining marriage by de-mystifying sex, (under the guise of ’empowerment.’) From advocating special rights for transgendered under the banner of ‘inclusiveness,’ to same-sex marriage under the banner of ‘discrimination,’ the left is making headway. Helped by America’s appetite for sex and our famed tolerance, the gradual acceptance of deviant behavior as normal is becoming, well, normal.

Last week, Hillary took Obama to task for not being as enthusiastic about homosexuality as she is. “I’m more pro-homosexual than Obama” she proudly claimed. All Democrat candidates are busy burnishing their credentials by signing on to the radical gay agenda, which has extended way beyond ‘tolerance’ to outright acceptance of anything that falls in the sexual arena.

Take Yale University. This week is set aside for “Sex Week.” Parents will have the satisfaction of seeing what their $45K per year buys. First up is a trendy competition to win a porn-star look-alike contest. Then students will proceed to the good stuff, like learning how to achieve a state beyond bliss and the proper application of lubricants. This is called higher education.

Other sex news last week included the confessions of a kinky college professor who was almost strangled in an S&M session. He’s ‘deeply ashamed’ and ‘finally through’ with the double life he’s led as a kid. Expect him to become the left’s new poster boy for courage.

Homo-expect-us: Imposing Values on Christians

By Selwyn Duke

There is a maelstrom brewing around High Point Church in Arlington, Texas. Church officials had offered to host a funeral for a homosexual man, Cecil Sinclair, even going so far as to agree to feed 100 guests and create an elaborate photo presentation about the man’s life. However, the family neglected to inform the church that Mr. Sinclair’s homosexuality would be featured prominently, with pictures containing obvious homosexual content on display. Understandably, the church would not be party to the exhibition of sin, and its offer was rescinded.

The family is mad, some of the media is mad, and I’m mad too. What irks me, though, is an invidious double-standard: Homosexuals and their sympathizers often expect a special dispensation from rules that apply to everyone else, while Christians are expected to dispense with their rules.

I’ll first echo a point church officials have made, only my example will be different. It’s understandable that Christians may offer their services to known homosexuals, as we’re all sinners; however, most of us sinners don’t expect our characteristic sins to characterize a church service held on our behalf. Why, if a man had been a recalcitrant philanderer, would we expect that a church shouldn’t have a problem displaying sexually suggestive photographs of him with gaggles of gals? It’s absurd.

‘Hate Crimes’ Bill Gives Sexual Orientation Coverage

Make no mistake about it, the Democrat House is trying to make thought a crime. In the Local Law Enforcement Hate Crimes Prevention Act of 2007, they try to give it innocuous cover by claiming that the legislation is only meant to:

To provide Federal assistance to States, local jurisdictions, and Indian tribes to prosecute hate crimes, and for other purposes.

This is an insidious bit of legislation meant to create special laws to legitimize homosexuality and make a crime anyone attempting to advocate for a Christian worldview. This bill makes activism against the homosexual agenda, among other things, subject to prosecution as a “hate crime” because the definition of “hate crime” is being expanded to include sexual orientation.

The bill lies right from the beginning with its opening remark that, “The incidence of violence motivated by the actual or perceived race, color, religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, or disability of the victim poses a serious national problem.”

What if Homosexuality is Biological?

By Selwyn Duke

The Rev. R. Albert Mohler Jr., president of the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Ky., recently penned an article that has both fellow evangelicals and homosexual activists feeling none too gay. Mohler raised the ire of the former group by stating that science may very well prove there is a biological basis for homosexuality; he then sent the latter group into a tizzy by reasserting that homosexual behavior is sinful and that modern science may offer prenatal remedies for it.

That homosexuality may have a basis in biology is rejected by many on the right for the same reason it is embraced by homosexuals. The reasoning is that if such feelings are biologically induced, then homosexual behavior is neither sinful nor a choice. Thus, the genesis of same-sex attraction has become a locus of debate in the culture war. The truth is, however, that both sides have fallen victim to a misconception, one I have long wanted to dispel.

Any biological basis for homosexuality would only be relevant insofar as preventing the condition is concerned; it has no bearing on morality. This is for a very simple reason: Biology doesn’t determine morality.

Mrs. Clinton endorses gay adoption, quietly

-By Michael M. Bates

Struggling with Senator Barack Obama for black votes, Hillary Clinton acquitted herself well in Selma the other day. That Southern drawl she’s suddenly developed assures her a job with any future revival of “Hee Haw” if her presidential ambitions are quashed.

Not so widely covered by the mainstream media was a speech Senator Clinton delivered two days earlier. She spoke before 400 members of the Human Rights Campaign, which boasts it’s the nation’s largest gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender civil rights organization. Hillary was gushing with enthusiasm for the HRC: “I love the fact it’s my initials, have you ever noticed that?”

She’s proud to stand with the Human Rights Campaign, she told them. Apparently not, however, proud enough to publicize her address to the group. The Associated Press reported that when she was asked Monday why she didn’t advertise the speech, as is usually done, Mrs. Clinton responded, “You’ll have to ask my campaign.”

The liberal double standard is wondrous to behold. George W. Bush is directly responsible for the misdeeds of any soldier anywhere in the world. Yet when one of their own is challenged, liberals immediately shift into full Sergeant Schultz “I know nothing . . . nothing!” mode. This, despite the fact that Hillary’s campaign isn’t quite as large as the U.S. military. Although it may spend more. Private detectives can be so very expensive.
