WATCH: Trump Reads FDR’s Historic D-Day Prayer–Reveals How Far Democrats Have Fallen

In Britain, President Donald Trump read aloud the prayer President Franklin D. Roosevelt issued during the D-Day campaign in 1944. It is a prayer that really proves just how the far the Democrat Party has fallen from true Americanism because no Democrat would ever utter such words today.

Trump was taking part in the D-Day commemoration in Portsmouth, U.K., on Tuesday and took time to read aloud the D-Day prayer that America’s WWII-time president issued to petition God to watch over our troops as they invaded the European mainland to defeat the Nazis.

But the text of the prayer is stark when compared to how the Democrat Party acts today.

Remember, this prayer was written for and read by F.D.R., one of the Democrat Party’s biggest heroes.

Here is now F.D.R. started his prayer: “Almighty God: Our sons, pride of our Nation, this day have set upon a mighty endeavor, a struggle to preserve our Republic, our religion, and our civilization, and to set free a suffering humanity.”

In its very first line the prayer proves to be as far away from today’s Democrat ethos as you can imagine. It seeks God’s blessing on the pride of our nation, our soldiers. No Democrat would appeal to God for anything today, much less victory at war. And, worse, they would never consider our soldiers to be the “pride of our nation.”

Britain is burning.

It will be here soon enough, the rampaging bands of useless youths coursing through England destroying property and looting stores as they go. Why will it be here? Because our liberal elites look to Britain as the model for where we should go and are actively attempting to force us down that destructive, immoral path.

For several nights, now, the ignorant, selfish, half-wild, cretins that the British call their children have been waging war with common decency. They have been looting the nation’s soul. And why? Because liberals have mollycoddled them, given them free stuff, allowed them to exist in a world without rules or consequences.

British Police Afraid of Local Kids, Soon to Come to the USA?

A British police chief has prohibited his own officers from patrolling a local park after dark because he and his fellows are afraid of the punks and trouble makers that infest the place at night. Thanks to a self-destructive and blind obeisance to PCism Britain has truly become an asylum run by the inmates. But this disease of PCism is one that left-wingers in America dearly want to emulate. Will the USA soon find police afraid of their own shadows, too?

Police Inspector Andy Sullivan told a meeting of the Wisbech, Cambridgeshire Town Council that he was not going to allow his officers to enter the park after 8PM because it is too dark. “The place has no lighting and it is still, in effect, a building site. I am not going to put my staff – police officers or PCSOs – into an area where they can’t see what is going on,” he said.

Last week thousands of coddled British students rioted because the British government decided that its children would have to… gasp… earn their own way through college. No longer would these petulant brats be given a free ride through higher education says the government. And these punks are not very happy about it.

Well, one dimwitted 15-year-old child took to a mic at the so-called “Coalition of Resistance National Conference” held in Camden on November 27, 2010. Oh, this child was aghast over the government’s evil ways, he was exercised about his supposed rights, and outraged over how shabbily he and his generation is being treated. In fact, with all his passion, you’d have thought he and his ilk had been really mistreated, held back, oppressed even. But what was really at issue was that he was going to be expected to actually earn his own way through college.

This dimwitted child revealed his inability to think clearly in a public place. He certainly exemplified that old saying, “don’t just stand there allowing people to think you’re stupid, speak up and prove that you are.”

Take a look at how absurd this child is…

I mean, really. This little boy stands there boldly claiming that he and his generation aren’t just going to sit there and “take whatever the government threw at them.” This moron doesn’t get that his logical disconnect is replete with stupidity. Of COURSE he’s going to sit there and take what the government is giving them. That is the whole point of his petulant blather. He WANTS government to give him free stuff.

Obama Signals British That They Aren’t So Special

>Barack Obama, it was claimed, would “repair” our reputation both with our enemies and our friends. So how has he done? Let’s take Britain for example. Has he “fixed” our special relationship with the British Isles? Well, if by fixed you mean he has fastened that relationship to a negative track, well then “fixed” it is.

Let’s review some of the slights that Barack Obama delivered to our closest allies, the British.

In February, immediately after he entered office, President Obama summarily rejected the most famous bust of Winston Churchill in England loaned to the U.S. for display in the Oval Office by the people of England. The bust was sent to us by the people of the U.K. as a gesture of solidarity and friendship in the aftermath of 9/11. Despite their generosity, Obama returned the generously loaned statuette without alerting the Brits that he intended to do so, blindsiding Prime Minister Gordon Brown’s government.

Brit Hasn’t a Clue About U.S. Politics

Many elitist American leftists like to go about claiming that it is only Americans that are dunces on foreign matters. There is some truth to the accusation that Americans are not knowledgeable about the rest of the world but if a column in the UK Telegraph is any indication it isn’t much better for Britain’s understanding of American politics. Worse, it is plain that even a British journalist hasn’t a clue what he’s on about when attempting to discuss the differences between a Democrat and Republican in today’s climate.

At issue is the incredibly garbled take on American Democrats and Republicans as posted by U.K. Telegraph writer David Lindsay, who claims himself to be a “freelance writer and tutor at Durham University.” One wonders why he doesn’t get a real job.

In “Why real American conservatives should register as Democrats,” Lindsay’s main point seems to be that Republicans really support what the Democratic Party supports and so GOP voters should resign from their party and join the left side of the aisle. But Lindsay’s reasons prove that he doesn’t know a thing about what he’s talking about.

This book serves as a warning to every advocate of the “free” healthcare that Obama is trying to sell like snake-oil from a traveling case. If government gets control of our healthcare, our entire system will be worse off for it.

In “Shattered Lives: One Hundred Victims of Government Health Care,” author Amy Ridenour presents us with 100 heartwrenching stories of healthcare victims from Canada, Great Britain, Australia, Japan and other western nations, stories that should serve as a warning against our blundering down the destructive path of nationalized healthcare.

Ridenour regales us with tales of self-dentistry because government healthcare refuses service, deaths over canceled operations or long-delayed treatment, and citizens that had to flee their own country to find lifesaving healthcare in other lands. There are tales of babies born in home toilets because government healthcare refused to see a pregnant mother, diseases undiagnosed, and restrictive and ill-conceived rationing to services causing blindness and other ailments.

The Diminishing Returns of National Healthcare

Now even The New York Times is admitting that Obamacare means rationing and also means a cutting back of Medicare proving that fears of America’s elderly are “not entirely irrational.” The Times is admitting that the original guarantee that Medicare is forever and that the government won’t interfere between patient and doctor is fading fast.

Again, as we’ve said in the past, one of the chief ways we can judge if we should allow Obama and his Democrats succeed in forcing a government takeover of our healthcare is to look to see how government controlled healthcare works in other countries — or doesn’t, as the case may be. We’ve had many examples already of how badly nationalized healthcare works in England and Canada, and here are two more.

Let’s start with our northern neighbors who, it seems, flood across the border seemingly on a monthly basis to get their healthcare here in the U.S. because they can’t get it in a timely manner in their own country.

Brit Hospital Manager Warns Against Obamacare

Who better to inform us of how wonderful a socialistic healthcare system is than one who ran the very hospitals enmeshed in such a system? Well, the Wall Street Journal gave some space to just such a fellow in its August 12 edition.

Alan B. Miller’s piece in the Journal is enlightening and a bit scary, honestly. He assures us that “we don’t want to go the government route” and be foolish enough to institute Obamacare. And Miller should know, too, as he is the chairman and CEO of Universal Health Services Inc., a company responsible for running some of Britain’s hospitals. As we know, Britain has a nationalized healthcare system and has since just after WWII.

A single-payer system may appear attractive to some. But as someone with more than 30 years of experience running a leading hospital company with international operations, I have firsthand knowledge of the hidden costs.

Miller reminds us that Medicare does not fully reimburse hospitals for costs incurred by its patients leave 7 cents on every dollar unpaid. He then says that the reason Medicare “works” to the degree it does — while still a failing concern — is because the hospitals rely on those with private insurance to make up the loss incurred by Medicare. But if the whole system becomes a government owned enterprise we will have major problems; chiefly rationing and cuts in service.

If hospitals had to rely solely on Medicare reimbursements for operating revenue, as would occur under a single-payer system, many hospitals would be forced to eliminate services, cut investments in advanced medical technology, reduce the number of nurses and other employees, and provide less care for the patients they serve. And with the government in control, Americans eventually will see rationing, the denial of high-priced drugs and sophisticated procedures, and long waits for care.

Miller then points to his experience of precisely that situation in England.

He warns us not to emulate the mess that has happened in Canada and England. Let’s hope people are listening to actual experience.

Graffiti Wall ‘Vandalized’ By… um, Graffiti?

Only on the Island nation of England, a place that has literally become a living recreation of Alice’s Wonderland world, can this story exist. Only in a world where logic, laws and traditions have been summarily erased only to be replaced by frivolity and situational ethics can the situation that spawned this laughable tale even be possible. In England we find a world upside down. A native son, Swift, thought he was writing satire those centuries ago, but he was utterly unaware that he was actually writing prophecy — one that has now come true.

The laughing stock that is Britain gives us the harrowing tale of the graffiti wall that was “vandalized” by… well, graffiti and the tongue clucking Bobbie that is all aghast over this evil deed.

That’s right, a graffiti wall that has been “ruined” by having someone put graffiti on it. At least, that is the charge leveled by the nitwits that run the town of Wadebridge in Cornwall. You see, the Town Council went to all the effort to plan and raise funds to erect a curving, blank wall upon which local punks and lawbreakers could paint their graffiti. Apparently, the idea is to give these little monsters a place to do their worst so as not to destroy property in the area.

But, horror of horrors, what happened? An actual citizen got so upset that his tax money was going for this absurd purpose that he painted a message of his own on the blank wall. That message read, “I paid my tax and all I got was this lousy wall.”

England: Stabbed, Gutted and Bleeding Out

Most haughty Europeans look down their nose at we “violent Americans.” They sniff the air at the ugly American and assume that they are, one and all, more “civilized” than we gauche colonials. Look at all the gun violence in America, they say. They tsk. tsk us for the deaths by gun. Certainly they are better than we?

Now shocking news emerges out of England this month. It is estimated that 25,000 stabbings have occurred in Jolly, more civilized ol’ England in the last 12 months alone. You read that right, there have been 25,000 incidents of knife violence in England in the last year.

Worse, those numbers generally only include incidents where blood is drawn.

The count includes only murders, stabbings where blood is spilled and knifepoint muggings. If less-serious crimes like threats or illegal possession were included, numbers would be far higher.

And what is the government doing? Well, in truth it doesn’t matter a bit what they are or are not doing. Since the common people have no right to defend themselves in England, they are like sheep to the slaughter.
