Like all liberals, radio host Mike Malloy thinks that “the law” is essentially a meaningless concept and that because he is pure of liberal heart he should be allowed to do whatever he wants even if it is to file false police reports, bear false witness against others, and scare people by causing an illicit panic over gun owners who are following Georgia’s new open carry law.
Malloy claims to be a gun owner himself–another bit of hypocrisy, that–but he truly despises Georgia’s new open carry law. Despite that the Georgians among whom he lives have voted for the open carry law and despite that his narrow minded, anti-Second Amendment mentality is accepted by only a tiny minority of Georgians, Malloy claims he is ready to battle the open carry law by breaking the law himself… because, you know, he should only have to follow those laws he likes.
Here is what Malloy said on his radio show late last week (transcript courtesy of Newsbusters):
I guess what I’ll do if I’m ever in that situation and I see one of these half-witted yahoos walking in with a weapon, high-caliber rifle like that, I’ll just put on a berserk act.
I will just start screaming Gun! Gun! Gun! Watch out, everybody hit the deck! Guns! Guns! Everybody! And then dial 911 and I will say, shots fired, which will bring every g**-damned cop within 15 miles. And then the half-wits with the long guns are going to panic and they’re going to run out of the store and if that rifle isn’t shouldered properly, the cop is going to take a look at that and put a bullet right in their forehead.
So, Malloy is advocating for people to purposefully cause a panic? We would call that “yelling fire in a crowded theater,” and the Supreme Court has already said that sort of speech is a criminal act.
Then he advocates making a false police report?
Further, he hopes that false police report will result in the murder of a legal gun owner by police who arrive confused and ready to shoot first and ask questions later?
This is a liberal for you, folks. If they don’t get their way, if your rights aren’t eliminated by laws they like, then they want to kill you.
It wouldn’t surprise me if Malloy had the title as the most fired talk show host in all of radio, though. He’s worked at a dozen places in the media and been fired by nearly all of them. With asinine jabber like this, it’s no wonder.
