Obamacare’s Awaiting Legal Phoenix

-By Matthew J. O’Connor

With the house of representatives’ imminent passage of Obamacare this evening, the mainstream Sunday political talk shows this morning were already starting in with their “post-passage” spin and genuflection styled reverence of the “new” president who ”transcended politics” accomplishing the near impossible, ”healthcare reform.”

What the mainstream media’s new “post-passage” screed conveniently omits, from its freshly painted narrative, is the fact Obamacare legislation has made an absolute mockery of the legislative process; a process that was abused in ways that cannot be defended on account doing as much would be arguing against the very principles of political liberty, equity and fairness as set-forth within the ultimate social contract underpinning our entire system, the Constitution.

A bold statement? You bet it is and it’s in the arena of bold due to the egregious nature of how the Obama administration and its party led congress has conducted itself over the past 14 months in their, “at all costs” pursuit of their prized ideological trophy, Obamacare.

Our Great Republic was organized under a system of governance based on rational discourse carried out through a level of compromise so as to empower its citizens under the sacrosanct agreement their government would govern as a “Representative Republic.” The past 14 month push by the Obama administration and Congressional Democrats, in pursuing passage of their unilateral form of healthcare reform, was conducted in near complete contravention of such principles.

This is indeed an indelible game changer.

The immediate changes America will pursue to counteract their disenfranchisement will be to vote in a new congress. A new congress with a conservative complexion taking over all of the committee chairs in the house whose mandate will be, among other things, to use its subpoena power to uncover the filth of corruption associated with Obamacare. These efforts will eventually work in tandem on the State levels in their Constitutional challenges which will work in concert with the private sector that will be initiating their own legal challenges.

The irony will be that the most prominent underlying fraud of Obamacare will serve as the eventual basis of its undoing. Obamacare is a phased plan to be phased in under 10 years of which the actual implementation of services will not start until after the first 4 years of pre-funding. This is precisely how the CBO was able to score Obamacare as “revenue neutral” over a 10 period.

And the first 4 years (the pre-funding years) will be precisely the corresponding period in which America will uncover all of Obamacare’s underlying deception and will thus serve as the lightning rod for legal justice carried out through the Judiciary Branch. When this moment of truth comes for America, the Constitution will again be alive and well, having truly transcended politics . . . politics of the ugliest kind.
