President Obama may be about to kill a California woman who has thus far survived cancer because his new Obamacare law has caused her to lose both her insurance and her expert cancer doctors. I guess his claim that we can keep our insurance if we like it is, well, a lie.
Edie Littlefield Sundby has survived stage 4 cancer but is worried that Obama’s new take over of our national healthcare system will be the death of her… literally… because she is losing all her doctors and healthcare insurance thanks to Obamacare.
“I am a determined fighter and extremely lucky,” Sundby wrote in her recent Wall Street Journal article. “But this luck may have just run out: My affordable, lifesaving medical insurance policy has been canceled effective December 31.”
Sundby has discovered that she has found out from Obamacare that she is not allowed to keep what she now has and is being forced to either join the state exchanges or pay far more for a private insurance policy.
“My choice is to get coverage through the government health exchange and lose access to my cancer doctors,” she wrote, “or pay much more for insurance outside the exchange (the quotes average 40% to 50% more) for the privilege of starting over with an unfamiliar insurance company and impaired benefits.”
Obama, of course, has told hundreds of lies since running for President in 2007. But his biggest lie is his claim that with Obamacare we could all keep our insurance and our doctors if we liked what we had. This has turned out to be almost completely untrue.
