-By Matthew J. O’Connor
Before parody is “deemed” unconstitutional, I have herewith prepared a special look into what CNN may have discussed in their production meeting today subsequent to the Tea Party rallies held throughout the country yesterday. For which, the sum total of the rallies provided the MSM nary a controversy to manipulate – or did they?
CNN Atlanta: Production Minutes: 10:45 AM 4/16/10
Chad: Thank you producers for coming . . . Carol, thanks also for the fat free mocha lattes . . . next time, we should hold off on real sugar, just bring Splenda . . . corporate is all over us on this. And also, thanks for remembering my “no – doughnut” rule – it ensures compliance with the 500 calorie or less meeting rule.
Chad: We need to get cracking on the Tea Party stories. My phone and BB have been ringing non-stop this morning – Podesta over at Center for Progress is in a roar looking for CNN’s tea party footage.
Nina: we had correspondents and “embedded” journalists everywhere, and we are shooting blanks so far on what Podesta is looking for.
Chad: Nina is right but we don’t get paid to not solve our own problems. Lets get our act together people, we are slipping. Podesta sent JJ a photo just before this meeting . . . I need everyone to focus here. There seems to be some encryption going on with some of the T- baggers’ signs and I promised Podesta we would lead off with this tonight after we back-fill the story. We have less than 5 hours folks.
Chad: I will have Kriztopher e-mail each of you the photo Podesta provided. Get this done people, punch up the story and give your copy to Zak in 1 hour.
Podesta’s photo –
