Ayers Said Everyone Knew He was a Marxist

1. I am checking as much information as there could be on this issue and here are few things that don’t add up.

   1. How does sitting on a coalition style committee to improve education in Illinois add up to a “close association”?

   2. This committee was put together by a Reagan Republican. So it stands to reason that he was aware of Ayer’s background when he allowed him to participate on this committee, would he not be guilty of the same “close association”?

   3. How is the activity of the Weathermen unAmerican but the activity of attacking medical clincs by Christian Right be patriotic?

   4. Didn’t this guy do his time? If so, does this mean he is no longer capable to contributing to American society?

   There is no evidence that Obama is consorting with this individual now so what bearing an incident that occurred several years ago have on the here and now?

   What if this guy, Ayers, actually has serious solutions to some major problems in education. Wouldn’t it be wrong to ignore that expertise? When it became reality that effecting change was better done from within than from without for Ayers is that not an example of rehabilitation.

2. You missed with every single “point” you made…

   — Obama did NOT just merely “sit on a board” with this terrorist. Obama has worked closely with Ayers on various education projects as well as raised money with Ayers for Obama’s campaigns. Obama had one of his earliest fund raising parties in Ayers living room. So, you blatantly mischaracterize their relationship… what’s more you KNOW you are doing it, too. Shameless.

   2. This committee was put together by a Reagan Republican. So it stands to reason that he was aware of Ayer’s background when he allowed him to participate on this committee, would he not be guilty of the same “close association”?

   — I’m sorry but your “point” amounts to a big so what? So an idiot that used to be with Reagan allowed a terrorist to join his group. Why does that somehow ABSOLVE the terrorist for his crimes?

   3. How is the activity of the Weathermen unAmerican but the activity of attacking medical clincs by Christian Right be patriotic?

   — This one was the most stupid of all your hypocritical “points.” No one here said that bombing clinics was good, right or “American.” You a e an idiot, sir.

   — NO this guy did NOT do any time. Further, he has maintained that this country is evil and deserves to be destroyed and he has never renounced his past, murderous activities. THAT is by NO means a “capable contribution” to American society.

   Ayers is scum of the worst variety. He is an unrepentant terrorist from a group filled with murderers. Apparently that doesn’t bother you a bit? Also apparently, you would agree with his actions since you are going out of your way to excuse him.

3. I agree about your big “SO WHAT”… about the whole thing.

   If you got something on this guy right here and right now that can legitimately get him locked up put it out there so twelve people can do what they got to do.

   Trying to improve education does not sound like a federal or state crime to me. It sounds like the guy is trying to make up for really dumb juvenile motorhead crap the best way he can.

   You know if someone digs deep enough you are bound to find a former Klan member or Skinhead among the extremist fringe in the Republican Party. Now do we really care if some 75 year old man was out Kluxin’ somewhere in Southern Indiana or Mississippi decades ago? Especially if he got “saved” and has lived a fairly decent life since?

   Now the Weathermen were classified by the a FBI as a domestic terrorist organization but so was the KKK and the Skinhead Movement. The Weathermen all did their time, grew old and fat and gone legitimate. As evident of the fantastic job done by ATF the Skinhead Movement is still out there.

   Can you imagine someone doing some research and finding out that those two nutjobs were whipped up by Sarah at a rally in Tennesee? I will be surprised if that doesn’t come out. When you preach that some people are more American than others there are consequences. You scare the wrong people and the wrong things happen.

   Now I am sure you’re going to huff and puff and say that is not the same thing. Your right, it is not. One side is hanging their hat on a 60 something professor that now is reading term papers and his impact is restricted to grade point averages, and the other side may or may not paint an image that Sarah’s preaching of superiority and division fired these morons up and motivated them to conspire to commit murder.

   Let me compare apples to apples. Remember Liddy? Watergate burglar and convicted felon? Now he is major league Republican fundraiser. Do we really want to dig around and follow his paper trails? Attack ads cost money, was some of it from him, a convicted felon? Let’s suppose that the McCain campaign did accept money from him does it means that money is dirty because of what he did 30something years ago?

   I know… I know… SO WHAT. What he did happen so long ago. That’s my point! What all these guys did happened so long ago that they both are barely a paragraph in most history books.

   What you need is an argument of how the way you want to do things is better than the way the Democrats what to do things. It is really bothering me that nobody is doing that.

   We already heard that what they want to do will be the end of the world we need to know, exactly, why what you want to do would save the world.

   I have heard that bailing out the banks will be the return of Socialism and Communism — although giving a trillion dollar gift doesn’t really qualify as Socialism as it is defined.

   What I haven’t heard is if we didn’t give the banks and insurance companies this “gift” and they collapse one by one where would the free market economic theory take us? Especially after all the other industries would start collapsing creating massive unemployment.

   I really like to know because I am not in favor of rewarding these bankers for destroying their businesses, or their shareholders for letting it happen.

   Unless you have hard evidence that Ayers was personally responsible for the near collapse of our banking system you got to move on to what’s really important which is where America is going not where its been.

4. Oh, one other thing… I find when somebody can only respond derogatorily instead of mounting an argument usually there isn’t an argument, or it is beyond their ability to articulate it. I am challenging you to try hard and properly respond. Take a breath… and think about what you stand for.

   There are those in the Christian Right camps that believe that using violence against medical clinics is justified and they strongly encourage it. So when you said that nobody here said that bombing clinics was good is not the same as saying it is WRONG.

   Are you saying the position stated by members of the Christian Right of attacking medical clinics is WRONG?

   When you go there then you are in a position to refuse to absolve any person of crimes he committed at any time in his life. However that does contradict the Principles of Christ concerning forgiveness.

5. You come here and accuse everyone on the right of supporting the bombing of abortion clinics with your extremist talking points and YOU have the gall to get huffy that people are talking “derogatorily” to you?

   Listen pal, NO ONE ON THIS SITE has EVER excused abortion clinic bombing. Anyone who does is the far right version of YOU who excuses the evil of Ayers. No one here is like that. Further, I would delete any reply by anyone that WOULD support bombing of clinics.Those type of people are not welcome here.

   Sir, you are a liar. An outright liar. You know full well that you are engaging in spin and warping facts to suit your need. You are not engaging in honest “debate” you are desperately trying ANYTHING to warp facts to fit your ideology.

   You are a hypocrite, one that believes that ANY action you do is fine as long as it wins the argument. What you have written here pretty much proves it.

   You are welcome to continue posting here as long as you do not engage in cursing or other trollish behavior, but from your replies so far, I can tell that truth and facts are meaningless to you.
