President Obama wants to slap more gun control policies on the country but can’t get Congress to act. So, he’s using his fiat powers to regulate to curb our Second Amendment rights.
President Obama has finally learned that he can’t get anything through Congress. And after Obamacare, his one main, dubious achievement, is crashing and burning, it is no wonder Congress won’t listen to him. But that won’t stop him from using his power to regulate to force his ideas on us all. One of those unpassable ideas he has is to slap more gun control on us and he’s looking to use his regulatory powers to do so because he can’t get Congress to act.
One of the new changes to regulation that Obama is going to try and force on the country is new theft reporting procedures.
Currently a gun seller–whether it is a gun retail shop or a manufacturer–is required to report the theft of any firearms as soon as they notice the theft.
It looks like Obama plans to force gun sellers to initiate a regular inventory system to detect thefts earlier.
Here is how Chelsea Parsons, associate director of crime and firearms policy at the Center for American Progress, describes the problem: “They can discover a gun missing today and have no idea when it went missing, which really makes that information useless to law enforcement.”
The CAP is an extremist, left-wing group funded by anti-American billionaire George Soros and it is this group that our extremist president is relying on to help him craft this new policy.
So, it appears that Obama is going to force gun sellers to start this new reporting and inventory process which will force new costs on those dealers. This is more regulation on top of regulation and is meant to drive the cost of guns up and to make being a retailer harder. With this new regulation, Obama hopes to vex gun dealers with more petty, unnecessary rules in hopes that many will quit the business.
This has nothing whatever to do with law “enforcement” or public safety. It is just one more way to oppress our Second Amendment rights.
