The religion of peace is at it again, this time throwing stones at Jews visiting one of the most holy sites for three world religions. Jews arriving at the Temple Mount in Jerusalem’s Old City as they begin preparations to celebrate Rosh Hashanah were attacked by Muslims looking to prevent them from worshipping.
Rosh Hashanah is one of Judaism’s most holy days and the Temple Mount one of its most holy sites, but once again Muslims gathered to physically harm anyone not Muslim.
The attacks on Jews rose to such a fracas that police were called to put an end to the brawling between the attacking Muslims and the defending Jews.
Police were preparing for a confrontation as the Jewish holy days begin after a Muslim Imam called for violence to prevent Jews from coming to worship.
Security forces were prepared for a riot as this incident follows renewed incitement by Islamic Movement leader Sheikh Raed Salah, who called for Muslims to physically prevent Jews from visiting the Temple Mount last week.
This so-called leader claimed that Jews praying at the Mount was a “danger.”
Jews have been prevented from visiting the temple mount because authorities fear violence from the peace-loving Muslims. It is a caving in to the violence and hate from Islam that should be stopped.
Yes, the religion of peace strikes again.
