Back in 2005 Democrat Senator Dick Durbin said that our soldiers were just like Nazis and were running the Soviet Gulags. Well, obviously Durbin and his extremist, left-wing hatred for our troops is off base, but we are seeing something in Obama’s America that is reminiscent of Soviet Russia: toilet paper rationing.
Apparently, things have gotten so bad in Obama’s America that toilet paper has to be rationed at Coney Island and other places in New York City. Fortunately the rationing is only for the women’s public bathroom. Unfortunately, the men’s bathroom just doesn’t get any TP at all.
The New York Post informs us of this Sovietesque situation.
NYC rationing toilet paper at Coney Island… The city is so hard up for cash that it’s rationing toilet paper in women’s public restrooms — to the point where bathroom attendants are doling out a few measly squares per patron — along the world-famous Coney Island boardwalk.”
The Post reports that women in the city were shocked to find city employees doling out allotments of TP like the stuff was made of gold leaf instead of tree bark.
But, folks, this is where we are headed in Obama’s America. Soon we will be standing in lines for gas, bread, and TP just like the Soviets did.
Isn’t it wonderful what Obama has wrought?
Now for one of my favorite Soviet jokes. It goes, “What is the most permanent feature of our socialist economy? Temporary shortages.”

Simple solution is for restroom patrons to carry a few napkins in purse or back pocket. As the scout motto says, “Be prepared!”
Tougher solution is to vote the current crop of crooks out of office starting at the City level on up to Federal.
If each of us were to convince one fence sitter each we can double our numbers.
