After long-time Democrat Party hack and “civil rights icon” Congressman John Lewis attacked Donald J. Trump as an “illegitimate president” — and after Trump replied to Lewis’ hate-filled attack — a growing list of Democrats have announced a boycott of Trump’s inauguration. But it is a boycott with a happy outcome because it will just make room for more real Americans to attend the festivities.
During a recent interview Lewis, who played a minor role in the civil rights movement in the 1960s and subsequently parlayed that into a seat in Congress, attacked Donald Trump as an “illegitimate president” and floated the wild-eyed and untrue conspiracy theory that the Russians corrupted the U.S. election system so Trump could win the White House.
Of course, there was no “Russian hacking of the election.” It just plain did not happen. Yes, the badly protected servers of the Democrat Party and Clinton campaign chief John Podesta were breached revealing many disturbing and embarrassing communications. But that is not the same thing as hacking the election.
In point of fact, no state had its electronic election systems breached or hacked by Russia. Indeed, many states reported that far from any foreign entity trying to hack into their election systems, it was Barack Obama’s U.S. government itself that tried to do it, not any foreigners.
So, Lewis is simply lying when he says that the Russians made Donald Trump president. He’s not just misinformed, either. As a Congressman privy to detailed information he knows he’s lying, too.
Of course, Lewis has a long, long history of racebaiting, lying, and attempting to divide America. Just to name a few of the lies and attacks this hateful man has unleashed, he called Republicans “Nazis” in the 1990s when they moved to initiate welfare reform, back in 2008 he called John McCain a racist, in 2010 he lied that Tea Party activists called him the N-word as he walked to the steps of the capitol building, and in 2016 he called Democrat presidential candidate Bernie Sanders a liar over Sanders’ claims of having marched for civil rights in the 60s. On the latter, Lewis claimed Sanders never had anything to do with civil rights, but Lewis never spoke to the flat out fact that Sanders was arrested during a civil rights march in Chicago in the 60s.
In any case, Trump is under attack by the liberal media for having responded with a fairly mild tweet after Lewis’ lies about the Russians and the election.
Congressman John Lewis should spend more time on fixing and helping his district, which is in horrible shape and falling apart (not to……

The President-Elect went on with several more tweets that are just mild as far as his past rhetoric goes. Mild, but 100% right on point…
mention crime infested) rather than falsely complaining about the election results. All talk, talk, talk – no action or results. Sad!

Congressman John Lewis should finally focus on the burning and crime infested inner-cities of the U.S. I can use all the help I can get!

Inauguration Day is turning out to be even bigger than expected. January 20th, Washington D.C. Have fun!

Lewis is also an ignoramus for trying to divide the country on inauguration day. And to add to his un-patriotic attack on the nation, a few days after he attempted to divide the country by attacking Trump and half the country that voted for him, Lewis made a cringe-worthy and hypocritical speech scolding Americans to act like we are “all one America.”
Even left-wing CNN “reporter” Anderson Cooper showed that he realized how incendiary and ignorant Lewis’ attack on Trump was. About Lewis’ comments, Cooper said, “I get he doesn’t like Donald Trump. I get he doesn’t accept the results of the election, but is this helpful in any way … If a Republican had said this about President-elect Hillary Clinton, Democrats would be up in arms.”
Conservative talk show host Ben Ferguson also noted the disparity in how such comments would be treated if a Republican had said what Lewis said.
During an interview on CNN’s “Newsroom,” Ferguson slammed Lewis saying, “It is unprecedented. I cannot imagine the fallout, the backfire that you would have if a Republican would have ever implied that about Barack Obama or Bill Clinton or JFK, or anyone else for that matter.”
The point is inarguable, certainly.
By the way, Lewis has also lied about never missing an inauguration. He also skipped George W. Bush’s ceremony according to the Washington Post.
Indeed, no elected member of Congress on the Republican side of the aisle pronounced Obama an “illegitimate president” and announced any boycotts of either of his inaugural ceremonies when he won the presidency.
Naturally Democrats are clamoring to join with the ignoramus Lewis by announcing that they, too, are boycotting Trump’s inauguration.
Currently a list of over 305 or more self-serving, anti-American Democrats have announced their intentions to join Lewis in his boycott of the inauguration.
As of press time, these are the partisan Democrats who are boycotting the ceremony:
- Arizona Rep. Raul Grijalva
- California Rep. Judy Chu
- California Rep. Mark DeSaulnier
- California Rep. Jared Huffman
- California Rep. Barbara Lee
- California Rep. Ted Lieu
- California Rep. Zoe Lofgren
- California Rep. Lucille Roybal-Allard
- California Rep. Mark Takano
- California Rep. Maxine Waters
- Florida Rep. Frederica S. Wilson
- Georgia Rep. John Lewis
- Illinois Rep. Luis Gutierrez
- Massachusetts Rep. Katherine Clark
- Michigan Rep. John Conyers
- Missouri Rep. William Lacy Clay
- New Jersey Rep. Bonnie Watson Coleman
- New York Rep. Yvette Clarke
- New York Rep. Adriano Espaillat
- New York Rep. Jerrold Nadler
- New York Rep. Jose Serrano
- New York Rep. Nydia Velazquez
- Ohio Rep. Marcia Fudge
- Oregon Rep. Earl Blumenauer
- Oregon Rep. Peter A. DeFazio
- Oregon Rep. Kurt Schrader
- Pennsylvania Rep. Dwight Evans
- Tennessee Rep. Steve Cohen
- Wisconsin Rep. Mark Pocan
- Washington Rep. Pramila Jayapal
- Washington Rep. Adam Smith
One thing is sure, if these Democrats and all their hangerson decide to skip the inauguration, their absence will leave more space for actual, patriotic Americans to attend the festivities. So, that is one good outcome of this boycott, at least.
Meanwhile, the media is gearing up to cover Trump’s inauguration and oath of office. And if you thought their coverage would be strictly a “news” event, you can already see how they are going to treat the day. You can take as a hint how the Associated Press characterized Obama’s last inauguration and compare it to how they just reported Trump’s event…
Yeah. That’s fair and balanced, right? No bias there!
