With Castro’s Death Liberals Reveal Their Love of Murderous Dictators

At long last Fidel Castro became a good communist, dying at age 90 late on Friday, November 25. But with his death liberals everywhere revealed how much they love murderers as they mourned the loss of a man who liquidated at least hundreds of thousands if not over a million of his own people.

The most egregious case of a world leader beclowning himself with sadness over the death of the monster of Havana was Canada’s fashionable liberal leader Justin Trudeau whose hand-wringing memorial to the killer was both widely reviled and hilariously attacked.

But Trudeau is far from alone in his wailing and wearing of sackcloth and ashes at the passing of Castro. Our own President also issued an inappropriate statement — one which sits in stark contrast to President-Elect Donald Trump’s — and so did our worst ex-president (until Obama takes that role, naturally) Jimmy Carter. Along with our two tyrant lovers, Carter and Obama, a whole raft of repulsive liberals also weighed in with just how much they loved the Cuban murderer.

Barack Obama’s disgusting three-paragraph memorial statement unsurprisingly talked about himself as do so many of his other statements to the country, but it never really talked of Castro’s crimes against humanity and his own people.

Obama’s horrible statement began…

At this time of Fidel Castro’s passing, we extend a hand of friendship to the Cuban people. We know that this moment fills Cubans – in Cuba and in the United States – with powerful emotions, recalling the countless ways in which Fidel Castro altered the course of individual lives, families, and of the Cuban nation. History will record and judge the enormous impact of this singular figure on the people and world around him.

What is this “recalling the countless ways in which Fidel Castro altered the course of individual lives” nonsense? Yeah, he “altered lives,” alright. By murdering hundreds of thousands of Cubans and forcing millions more to flee their homes. “Altered lives” sure is a nice way of saying Castro was a genocidal monster.

For nearly six decades, the relationship between the United States and Cuba was marked by discord and profound political disagreements. During my presidency, we have worked hard to put the past behind us, pursuing a future in which the relationship between our two countries is defined not by our differences but by the many things that we share as neighbors and friends – bonds of family, culture, commerce, and common humanity. This engagement includes the contributions of Cuban Americans, who have done so much for our country and who care deeply about their loved ones in Cuba.

Paragraph two whereupon Obama talks about Obama instead of talking about the topic at hand. And it may not have occurred to Obama that the reason so many Cubans are here to “contribute” to America is because Castro made them flee their homes!

Today, we offer condolences to Fidel Castro’s family, and our thoughts and prayers are with the Cuban people. In the days ahead, they will recall the past and also look to the future. As they do, the Cuban people must know that they have a friend and partner in the United States of America.

Why would we offer condolences to the family o a murderer? It is good riddance to bad rubbish and time to celebrate a death that came many decades too late, not time for heartfelt condolences.

But that is our tyrant-loving president, for you.

President-Elect Donald Trump’s statement was a study in contrasts and a stronger and more truthful contrast at that. He started, as he is wont to do, with a Tweet.

Then issued a statement:

Today, the world marks the passing of a brutal dictator who oppressed his own people for nearly six decades.

Fidel Castro’s legacy is one of firing squads, theft, unimaginable suffering, poverty and the denial of fundamental human rights. While Cuba remains a totalitarian island, it is my hope that today marks a move away from the horrors endured for too long, and toward a future in which the wonderful Cuban people finally live in the freedom they so richly deserve.

Though the tragedies, deaths and pain caused by Fidel Castro cannot be erased, our administration will do all it can to ensure the Cuban people can finally begin their journey toward prosperity and liberty. I join the many Cuban-Americans who supported me so greatly in the presidential campaign, including the Brigade 2506 Veterans Association that endorsed me, with the hope of one day soon seeing a free Cuba.

Vice President-Elect Mike Pence also made a strong statement on Twitter.

Speaking of Twitter, as an aside, one of the more moving Tweets I saw about the murderer’s death was tweeted by Yvonne M. Conde, an author and Cuban exile.

This is a first person example of the swath of crimes against humanity committed by Obama’s pal.

Another American who gave a horrid statement expressing his feeling of loss was the nation’s most un-American ex-president, Jimmy Carter.

“Rosalynn and I share our sympathies with the Castro family and the Cuban people on the death of Fidel Castro. We remember fondly our visits with him in Cuba and his love of his country. We wish the Cuban citizens peace and prosperity in the years ahead.”

As people in Miami, Florida, broke out in celebrations over the death of this brutal dictator, tyrant-lover Carter was crying over the death of his good, good friend and wistfully recalling those “fond visits” wrapped in luxury at Castro’s hands as his people starved. He sure “loved” his country as he was murdering thousands and keeping millions in abject poverty, didn’t he?

It is interesting, too, that Carter “wishes” the Cuban people “peace and prosperity in the years ahead” when he sure as heck never cared if they got any of that in the past as Castro oppressed, imprisoned, tortured, and murdered them by the truckloads.

But the funniest — and equally disgusting — statement from a world leader came from Canada’s wunderkind Justin Trudeau.

Trudeau rode into the Prime Minister’s seat on a wave of youthful coolness. He was hip, liberal, and good looking. Now he just revealed he is a moron.

Here is the Prime Minister of democratic, freedom-loving Canada’s statement on the death of the Cuban mass killer:

It is with deep sorrow that I learned today of the death of Cuba’s longest serving President.

Fidel Castro was a larger than life leader who served his people for almost half a century. A legendary revolutionary and orator, Mr. Castro made significant improvements to the education and healthcare of his island nation.

While a controversial figure, both Mr. Castro’s supporters and detractors recognized his tremendous dedication and love for the Cuban people who had a deep and lasting affection for “el Comandante”.

I know my father was very proud to call him a friend and I had the opportunity to meet Fidel when my father passed away. It was also a real honour to meet his three sons and his brother President Raúl Castro during my recent visit to Cuba.

On behalf of all Canadians, Sophie and I offer our deepest condolences to the family, friends and many, many supporters of Mr. Castro. We join the people of Cuba today in mourning the loss of this remarkable leader.

What a pile of garbage.

Foolish, tyrant-loving Trudeau called Castro a “larger than life” and “legendary leader” who “made significant improvements to the education and healthcare of his island nation” and had a “tremendous dedication and love for the Cuban people”… whom he murdered at will for five decades.

And, gosh darn it, don’t we all just have a “lasting affection for ‘el Comandante'”?

You would think Trudeau was talking about a beloved movie star, here, not a dictator who oppressed a nation for decades.

But, oh, it got worse. Next this twit waxed poetic over how it was “a real honour” to meet the rest of the oppressive Castro clan and how his father (former left-wing PM Pierre Trudeau) just so loved this killer.

Then Trudeau took it upon himself to tell the supporters of a man who despised freedom and democracy that he and all Canadians were there for them.

What. The. Hell?

Trudeau’s stupidity wasn’t lost on many residing in the Great White North above us.

Maclean’s magazine slammed Trudeau as a “laughingstock” for his lionization of the brutal dictator.

The magazine reminded Trudeau of just how wonderful this man, who evidently has such “tremendous dedication” to his people, actually treated his people.

Any political activity outside the Communist Party of Cuba is a criminal offence. Political dissent of any kind is a criminal offence. Dissidents are spied on, harassed and roughed up by the Castros’ neighbourhood vigilante committees. Freedom of movement is non-existent. Last year, the Cuban Commission for Human Rights and National Reconciliation (CCDHRN) documented 8,616 cases of politically-motivated arbitrary arrest. For all our prime minister’s accolades about Cuba’s health care system, basic medicines are scarce to non-existent. For all the claims about high literacy rates, Cubans are allowed to read only what the Castro crime family allows.

Oh, yeah, that Castro was a peach of a fellow.

But Twitter handled Trudeau best by indulging some of the best satire I’ve seen in years with a hashtag campaign called “#trudeaueulogies,” where twitter wags picked other brutal dictators to help the young PM wax elegant over their “loss.”

Of course, world leaders such as the enfant terrible from Canada and the U.S. manchild in Washington D.C. are hardly alone. Many in the U.S. old media complex also cried openly over the death of their favorite killer.

To list just a few, ABC Senior Correspondent Jim Avila called Castro the Cuban “George Washington” because we all remember how Washington murdered Americans by the hundreds of thousands, imprisoned them, and tortured them over their political beliefs… right?

Not to be outdone, nitwit Fox News gabber Geraldo Rivera slammed anyone criticizing Castro and said he wasn’t “all awful.” Rivera went on to insist that Castro will be “remembered fondly” by the people he murdered and oppressed. Rivera, being Hispanic, should know better.

For her part, NBC’s Andrea Mitchell glowed about how much she loved meeting with the killer and called him “very, vey smart.” In another report Mitchell insisted Castro “will be revered” for “education and social services and medical care to all of his people.” (Shades of the Twitter campaign against Trudeau, with the latter.)

The Associated Press was all excited over their claim that Castro’s murderous “revolution” is still going strong despite the tyrant’s death in a piece that was more or less simple hero worship.

Then, on Sunday’s “Meet The Press,” New York Times writer Helene Cooper attacked Castro’s American critics and called him a freedom fighter.

Finally, spittle-specked MSBNC host Chris Matthews couldn’t be left out as he insisted that this monstrous murderer of Cubans is “almost like a folk hero to most of us.”

Certainly there are many, many more examples and we’d be here all week trying to list them all. But suffice to say that liberals truly do love murderers and all these lamentations over Castro’s death is a perfect example.
