The Only 4 State Dept. Officials Chastised for Benghazi Debacle Now Given Jobs Back, Full Pay!

-By Warner Todd Huston

Three of the only four Obama officials punished for the administration’s abject failure during the Benghazi attacks last year are now being given their jobs back.

Four Americans–including our Ambassador to Libya, Chris Stevens–were killed during the terror attacks in Benghazi, Libya, on Sept. 11, 2012, and in the immediate aftermath of the Obama administration’s horrible failure to keep our ambassador safe, four officials of the State Department were put on leave pending an investigation.

One, Eric Boswell, who was in charge of diplomatic security, resigned after he was put on leave pending an investigation. But the other three, Charlene Lamb, the deputy assistant security tasked with embassy security, as well as Scott Bultrowicz, the former director of diplomatic security, and Deputy Assistant Secretary Raymond Maxwell were all placed on leave pending the outcome of the investigation.

But now, New Secretary of State John Kerry has cleared all of them and given them their jobs back.

Worse, they were all still being paid during this whole one-year-long investigation.

As Fox News reports:

“In order to implement the (Benghazi report) and to continue to turn the page and shift the paradigm inside the Department, the four employees who were put on administrative leave last December pending further review, will be reassigned inside the State Department,” the official said. The official stressed that no one would “return to the positions they held prior to the (report’s) release and at the time of the attack.”

The truth is they have faced no punishment at all. They keep their jobs, they didn’t lose any money during the investigation, and they’ve lost no seniority or position in the State Department.

… and Americans died.

Menwhile, Chris Smith, the mother of Sean Smith, one of the Americans killed by terrorists in Benghazi, Libya on Sept. 11, 2012, is sick of how Obama and his cohorts are ignoring their own failures in Libya.

In a recent interview, Smith said, “I still see pictures on that TV of bloody finger prints on the wall thinking ‘are those my son’s?'”

Just as the one-year anniversary nears, Smith is back pointing out that Obama has still not been held accountable for his failure in Benghazi.

“Nobody cares, nobody cares and people of the United States, Hilary doesn’t give a damn about you!” Smith said.
