From the campaign of Becky Rheintgen for City Council…
Three weeks left until the election – but you can start voting today!
Early voting for the April 5 Election begins Monday, March 14, 2011 and continues through Thursday, March 31, 2011. Our Village Hall, 801 Burlington Ave., is an early voting site – it’s really easy, takes just a couple minutes and is super convenient.
- Stop in after dropping off kids at school in the morning
- Stop in just after 2 in the afternoon on the way back to school to pick up kids
- When you’re running out to pick up a few things, stop in and vote
- Stop on the way home from work in the evening
The hours for early voting are:
- Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday: 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Tuesday from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
- Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
If you are a registered voter in DuPage County, you are eligible to participate in Early Voting.
Fixing our streets and finishing our storm water projects are priorities for me. I want to bridge the gap between elected official and resident in a way that listens first and respects all and I want to add to the Council ensuring it represents a true cross section of our community. And so, I’m asking for your vote. I believe I am the right person for the right reason to serve as your next representative on the Downers Grove Village Council.
Over the next three weeks, I’ll need your help – not only at the ballot booth. One of the most effective tools a campaign can use is to have supporters personally find other supporters. There’s nothing more powerful than when a friend, family member or neighbor encourages someone they know to vote. So please, forward this email and ask someone to vote. In this close of an election, every vote matters!
Please take advantage of this great opportunity to vote when it’s most convenient for you!
Sincerely,
Becky Rheintgen
