From the Joe Walsh for Congress campaign (8th District)…
With just 48 hours left before our quarterly filing deadline, I am asking you today to contribute $ 20.10 to our campaign for Congress to commemorate this historic year in which we take our country back.
We are going to take it back from those in Congress like my opponent, Melissa Bean, who have built their careers by serving special interests rather than their constituents’ interests.
We are going to take it back from those who seek to contract our personal freedoms and expand government’s control over our lives.
We are going to take it back for seniors facing Medicare cuts and small businesses facing tax hikes that threaten their ability to stay in business.
We are going to take it back for our children and grandchildren so that future generations are not saddled with debts they cannot possibly afford.
I am not a career politician-and I don’t want to be. In fact, I’ve never held elective office and I’ve committed that, if elected, I will serve no more than 6 years. I am just a “Regular Joe”; a husband, father and taxpayer who is sick and tired of watching my representatives spend away my country’s future.
Rep. Bean is the career politician. She has all the DC friends with the deep pockets. She’s being funded by the trial lawyers she insulates from tort reform and the big banks she voted to bail out.
By contrast, I am counting on families in the 8th district to help provide the resources I need to get our message out and ensure people understand the clear choice before them in this critical race.
To do this, I need . Please consider a contribution $20.10 or more (we do accept more) to help me make 2010 the year that we stood up and took back control of our government, our freedom, and our future.
Thank you in advance for your support and consideration.
Sincerely,
Joe Walsh

P.P.S. Your contribution of $20.10 today will help send a message to Melissa Bean that you will not forget her vote on the health care takeover come November!
