Homosexual hate is blooming again, this time in Grimes, Iowa. No, I don’t mean hate turned against gays, but gays perpetrating the hate.
A wedding hall in Grimes named Görtz Haus Gallery, a business owned by devout Christians, recently refused to do business with a gay couple looking to use the hall for their wedding service.
From there the floodgates of hate were opened wide.
“It started with emails and we noticed the emails were from a person with a name that looked like a man’s name. We’re a little suspicious about it and … two fellows walked in and that’s where it all began,” Dick told TheBlaze.com. “It was obvious what the situation was. I had to confirm it. I asked if this was a gay marriage celebration and I said we can’t take your money for this.”
Betty and Dick Odgaard, owners of Görtz Haus Gallery, shared some of the hate that came their way from the “tolerant” gay mafia…
One angry e-mail said that the family is “finished” and “doomed.” “You are mean, rude, selfish, mother f***er racist sons of b**ches from hell,” it read, with the writer later adding, “F**k you, f**k your God, f**k your religion.” Another person who goes by the name “Micky” wrote, “Betty, you’re very old and almost dead. How do you both feel, knowing that America, and the world, will be a better place without you?“
Because of the controversy, some other clients have also canceled their business with the Odgaards.
But they are undaunted in their religious beliefs in the face of these oppressive attacks.
“We believe a marriage is between a man and woman,” Betty said. “To us, it’s a sacrament,” Dick added.
Certainly the Odgaards bear no ill will toward anyone. But their beliefs are their beliefs and they have a right to them.
But to the gay mafia two wrongs make a right. If in their view someone slights them then the gay mafia doesn’t tsk the slight and take the higher road to mature scorn in return, mindful that such slights are wrong. Instead they return a mere slight with threats of violence and hate four-fold from what they themselves experienced.
It is the “tolerance” we see from all leftists.
