Stupidity: Govt. Says Unemployment Compensation CREATES Jobs!

-By Warner Todd Huston

This is why no one in government lives in the real world. The Congressional Budget Office (CBO) said this week that extending unemployment creates jobs Good lord, if these idiots truly believe this garbage, we need to nuke Washington D.C.!

The AP is reporting that the CBO is saying that extending unemployment for another year will “add 300,000 jobs to the economy.”

Naturally, the left-wing idiots we call Democrats think this is all great.

‘‘This report is more evidence that extending help to those who are seeking work is a better investment for our economy than extending tax breaks for those resting comfortably atop the economic ladder,’’ said Rep. Lloyd Doggett, D-Texas, a member of the House Ways and Means Committee.

How can these brainless, communists think this? Why, because sending free money to the unemployed will instigate “spending” by “the people” and that spending will “create jobs.”

This is exactly backwards thinking. This isn’t money legitimately made by the private sector spent by the private sector to grow the economy. This money stolen from the private sector, making the private sector poorer, making jobs scarcer, and destroying the damn economy!

Unemployment benefits have cost the federal government $520 billion during the era of Obama. That is $520 billion taken out of the economy, not $520 billion grown.

That is $520 billion that didn’t go to growing businesses, creating jobs, doing services for each other, $520 billion taken out of productive work.

Keynesianism does not work! We have already learned this from Obama’s utterly failed stimulus flops.

This administration is purposefully destroying this country. There can be no doubt at all.
