From the Palatine Tea Party…
(Palatine, Illinois) – The Palatine Tea Party obtained details of the Village of Palatine Mayor Jim Schwantz and Councilman Aaron Del Mar buying Apparel using taxpayer dollars. We have released the supporting details including: voided check, disbursement account details, check request, invoice, and several pictures.
These are the same elected officials who raise village taxes and fees to offset budget shortfalls which include a 3.99% increase in our Property Tax Levy, Electric Utility, Water and Sewer Tax increase. Those on social security received no COLA increase and the hardest hit will include those on fixed incomes, unemployed and low income families.
