Former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D, CA) has apparently turned to a very reliable confidante to inform her on whether or not to vote to join Barack Obama’s newest war. She asked her five-year-old grandson
No, seriously. She admitted it on national TV (as seen above).
Before she jetted off from Washington DC to her home in San Francisco she took a few moments out of her very important life to tell reporters that her little grandson told her all about what a war in Syria would mean.
Yes, the former Speaker of the House of Representatives is basing her ideas on what we should do in war, getting ready to determine what our government will do with our men and women at arms, determining what our vital U.S. interests are, all based on the burbling of a five-year-old.
Well, I guess a five-year-old can’t be any more stupid and uninformed than Congress at this point, eh?
Anyway, Pelosi claimed that her precocious five-year-old said, “Mimi, Are you ‘yes’ war with Syria, ‘no’ war with Syria?” The tot calls her “mimi.” Isn’t that cute?
Pelosi went on to claim that her little kiddo said “I think no war.”
Pelosi then said she informed her little sprite that hundreds of little children have been killed in the civil war in Syria. But he asked her, “Were these children in the United States?” She had to admit they weren’t but told him that this shouldn’t matter.
After the discussion the little booger told her that he was sure he was a “no” on war with Syria.
Yes, this whole discussion took place with a five-year-old.
If you believe a word of it.
OK, who out there believes a five-year-old is so aware of American foreign policy that… well, Pelosi’s whole claims strains credulity. Personally I think she if full of it.
