WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Peter Roskam (R-IL), Chief Deputy Whip, previewed tomorrow’s Forum on Job Creation at today’s House Republican Leadership Stakeout. The video and transcript are below:

TRANSCRIPT:

“Tomorrow morning, House Republicans are hosting a Forum on Job Creation. This is part of a continuing conversation that we’ve had with the American public – beginning with America Speaking Out and continuing on into the Pledge to America and now well into this agenda.

“So, it’ll be tomorrow morning in the Capitol Visitor’s Center.

“We’re going to be hearing from employers – employers of companies as small as 20 employees, to as large as 20,000 employees, here focused in Washington, and trying to highlight how it is that Congress can create an environment where the barriers to job creation are removed, and ultimately there is a buoyancy that returns to the economy.

“Because remember, this is all about getting our economy on a trajectory of prosperity again.

“This can be great. This country can be dynamic. And this Congress, and this Majority, is committed to accomplishing that.”
