Article 1 – Unions
There is a clear and present danger in the White House and Congress for the last few years and we are quickly converting to a communist society. As long as I have my first amendment rights and even after that, if it means jail time for defending my constitutional rights as a 1st Amendment scholar, guardian of the constitution and free market, I will continue to write against communism in all of its forms and fight it dying until my last breath.
Even Congressman Michelle Bachmann from MN is quoted in saying that we are officially socialist with 51% of the economy under Federal Government control. General Motors (now jokingly known as Government Motors) had fired its CEO at the request of the Obama Administration. That’s scary
Even Thomas Jefferson, the founding father of the Democratic Party said “When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty”. These guys and gals in the White House and Congress are not Democrats, but Communists.
My first article is on unions. It doesn’t matter what the unions name is if it belongs to teachers, plumbers, electricians, carpenters, coal miners, AFLCIO, AFSCME or SEIU. There are too many to list, but the principal is the same. They take money out of your paycheck. This money is put into a political action committee and it funds many of the Democratic candidates at various levels for political offices. The union bosses, just a select few take the money collected from the majority and place it with candidates they don’t necessarily agree with the beliefs of the majority of their membership. In the trades or being a teacher, there’s no way to opt out of this program. If this is your profession, you contribute and keep your mouth shut or you fight for the lies to keep your job. Its sad that eventually all your retirement money has gone to fund a political campaign for someone who cares more about Karl Marx who is dead, instead of you and your family who is living and breathing.
Now to continue the cycle where money flows, congress is the wallet of the US Taxpayer. They approve legislation for wars, entitlements (which are going way out of control), pork barrel spending (construction projects that go back to the same Unions who give the politicians money out of their campaign fund).
What’s interesting is that all of these unions promise their workers a pension. Pensions have long disappeared in the private/corporate sector and they all converted to 401K (self-contributing through tax deductions and sometimes employer matching), or you can get an IRA (Individual Retirement Account).
I’ve been hearing accounts in the news that Social Security and Medicare, the largest of entitlements are running out of funds in 2016 – less than 6 years away. A place that my grandfather used to work for went out of business in the 1980s a few years after his death and my grandmother got cut off from the pension that was supposed to be hers. There’s numerous stories out there on how the people allow the government to “manage” their money affairs, and it seems as though we always come up short. Even in the state of Illinois, the two Governor candidates see things differently. While Gov. Quinn wants to raise taxes to cover the shortfall and it seems like a good short term plan, what it is going to do is to drive more businesses out of Illinois. We have a revenue deficit right now. It has always been people who shoulder the tax burden and never the corporations. Why? More people work for a living then there are corporations. Payroll is one of the most expensive expenditures an employer has besides taxes, rent, etc, all called overhead. If you collapse corporations, you collapse people as well.
The point of this all is that there are promises made to people in unions and they come up short, why, because there’s no transparency. There’s a lot of pork barrel spending and maybe some skimming off the top? These are questions we have to ask the Obama/Pelosi/Reid/Quinn organizations if they do hold a town hall near us. And that’s going to be a big if!
At a time when the State of Illinois is behind on rent for state Representative and Senate offices and the Unemployment office in Evanston is loosing its lease do to non-rent payment, these are the times to ask, why was our money mismanaged? Not can we have a tax increase! Stop the madness! As government takeover continues to grow, political action committees will be a requirement in every workplace. You won’t have an excuse not to contribute. Just another mandatory (disguised) tax.
Article 2 to come: Abortion Funding and political action committees…
